In the new era of the 4th industrial revolution, new jobs using the latest technologies such as big data, cloud, IoT, and AI are increasing. In the field of various industries, talents who can converge IT and industrial fields are needed, but such convergence-type talents are insufficient. This study analyzed the effects of IT convergence startup education on the learning effect and educational performance of trainees preparing for re-employment. A survey was conducted with 160 trainees preparing for reemployment. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using the analysis tool SPSS 22.0 program. As a result of the study, first, in the IT convergence startup education of trainees who are preparing for re-employment, it was found that the sub-factors such as education content, instructor, and member satisfaction had a positive effect on the learning effect. Second, in the IT convergence start-up education for employment trainees, it was found that the sub-factors such as education contents, instructors, and the satisfaction of learning members had a significant effect on educational performance. It is expected that this study will serve as a basic data for preparing a start-up support system to revitalize start-ups in the IT convergence field.

This Study seeks for a plan for promotion of smartification of digital services for improving convenience in use and user services of public libraries in smart digital environment. Thus, in this Study, a survey on awareness of a plan for revitalization of digital data and smart libraries has been conducted for the persons in charge of digital data and librarians from public libraries. The result of this Survey are as follows: first, the introduction of smart libraries was effective by first implementing them in small and medium-sized cities with high interest in in information technology, and spreading them to public libraries in metropolitan cities and special autonomous cities; second, it is analyzed that the essential factor of success in introduction of smart libraries is the contents free from the terminals and the upgrade of computer equipment of users available for the use of these services. Terminals are to be individually utilized by smartphone users but it is necessary for upgrade and introduction of 5G which can secure the mobility of users including open type Wi-Fi; third, it is discovered that the information technology the applicability of which is expected to be easy while introducing smart libraries is RFID, which has been already generalized, and bigtata technology. The introduction of IoT technology in which the stakeholders of public libraries in metropolitan cities and special self-governing cities must be considered first.

But the security problems of Internet of things are expected to increase with being realized in a variety of industries. and it will be have to provide a corresponding technology to the security threat for this. Therefore, this paper will be analyzed to the security threats of the Internet of Things by the cases. Thereby this is expected to be utilized as a basis for the countermeasure of Internet of Things in a future.

The advent of the fourth industrial revolution has led to various technologies such as bigdata, the internet of things, artificial intelligence etc. Based on these innovations, the types of information services can changed in the library. The focus is on smart device. This study aims to identify utilization status and service implications of the smart device in the library. To achieve this goal, we conducted current status analysis of the smart device in the library through literature research and online search and gathered the executives views of practical librarians. Consequently, we proposed improvement of library service by using smart device. The results of this study will be expected to help next generation library establish service strategies.

The research objectives investigates main research topics and trends in the information and communication technology(ICT) field, Korea using LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation), one of the topic modeling techniques. The experimental dataset of ICT research and development(R&D) project of 5,200 was acquired through matching with the EZone system of IITP after downloading R&D project dataset from NTIS(National Science and Technology Information Service) during recent five years. Consequently, our finding was that the majority research topics were found as intelligent information technologies such as AI, big data, and IoT, and the main research trends was hyper realistic media. Finally, it is expected that the research results of topic modeling on the national R&D foundation dataset become the powerful information about establishment of planning and strategy of future's research and development in the ICT field.

In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the necessity of training advanced engineering personnel with convergent creativity to handle technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the internet of things (IoT) is increasing. In this paper, a new approach of engineering education based on academia-industrial cooperation and design-centered teaching technique for the students who need to learn practicable engineering skill with convergent creativity for the fourth industrial age is presented. It analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of the existing engineering education innovation activities, presents the practical necessities based on the experience of the educational system and the requirements of the educational environment, and analyzes the existing activities and the new roles. In particular, we discuss how to combine student-centered teaching methodology for effective design education, which is a key element of innovative engineering education. Most of the presented methods are verified by the authors' needs and effects in the education field.

The IT technologies applying to IoT(Internet of Things), Big Data, and AI(Artificial Intelligence) are needed in the era of 4th industrial revolution. So, the IT convergence courses of computer science major which will be required in the companies in order to prepare the crises of 4th industry revolution are necessary. And, one approach to cope with this problem is the training of IT convergence man power based on NCS(National Competency Standard) education. In this paper, we propose and analyze the NCS education courses for computer science major in order to teach the students who are needed in the Korean domestic companies preparing the 4th industrial revolution. The skills and applications of Chatbot, Blockchain, and CPS(Cyber Physical System) for the post mobile and post Internet technologies are included in the proposed courses.

When the variety of personal health services are provided in the ICBM(IoT, Cloud, Bigdata, and Mobile) environment, the security requirements of personal health service(PHS) including privacy issues is proposed in this paper. Because it is expected that the services related to personal health are provided in the cloud environment, the security requirements of a cloud environment is firstly investigated and then security threats including direct and indirect threats in a cloud environment are analyzed in terms of the security of PHS. In addition, the security requirements of PHS is developed based on the security requirements of electronic medical record(EMR) for medical service in this paper, then the validity of the proposed security requirements is shown by the relation between security requirements of cloud environment and PHS to indicate that a security requriement is supported by several security requirements of PHS.

Various server-based services such as big data, IoT and artificial intelligence have been made online. As a result, the demand for IDC to support stable server operation is increasing. IDC is a server-based facility with a stable line and power supply facility that manages 20 to 30 servers in an efficiently separated rack-level subnetwork. Here, we need a way to efficiently manage servers security, firewall, and traffic on a rack-by-rack basis. Including traffic shaping capabilities that control routers, firewalls, IPS, and line speeds, as well as VPN technology, a recent interest. If three or five kinds of commercial equipment are adopted to support this, it may be a great burden to the management cost as well as the introduction cost. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to implement the five functions in one rack-unit small integrated security router. In particular, IDC intends to integrate traffic shaping and IPS, which are essential technologies, and to propose the utility accordingly.

In smart cities around the world, urban environments have become more convenient due to information and communication technology(ICT). However, extant studies reveal that the level of life satisfaction of citizens has not improved compared to that of the pre-smart city and citizens are skeptical about the role of the smart city. This is largely because local culture and needs were neglected during the planing and development of the smart city. The research was conducted on Cambodia as a pilot site and our findings indicate that middle age group's population is significantly small and the society is at risk of losing its culture. Therefore, this paper opens up various ways of embedding cultural programs using technology in order to pass down cultural heritage to young generation, provide an emotional attachment to the inhabitants and further build up a new phase of cultural legacy. This will engender cultural uniqueness to the city and intrigue tourists around the world resulting in the growth of the tourist industry. This research will contribute locally by providing a sense of community to the public and globally by suggesting applicable methodology to other cities that are under the similar context.
