A Fundamental Study on Structure Health Monitoring System Based on Energy Harvesting of Harbour Structure (자가발전기반 항만 구조물 건전성 모니터링 시스템에 대한 기초연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to present a basic study on the development of a self-generation infrastructure for monitoring the health of harbour structures. Method: By developing a self-generation system and fiber optic sensors for seawater, the study provides basic research data on port structure health monitoring. Result: Through sunlight simulation analysis, 4-5 hours of sunlight can be secure in the domestic environment. Through this, the optical splitter (Introgate) that collects the raw data from the FBG sensor applicable to seawater, the MCU that calculates it, the IoT module with wireless communication functionality, the monitoring server and the supply system are set up. Conclusion: Monitoring port structures directly with fiber optic probes (FBG) and the possibility of using selfpowered systems were confirmed.

  • When an IoT system is constructed, a dashboard is also developed to monitor the values of sensors in the IoT System. Much time and money, however, are spent in developing the dashboard software. This paper presents design and implementation details of a dashboard maker called as YellowPeach, which helps to create a dashboard easily and fast without programming. Using YellowPeach, the user can author a dashboard by putting predefined charts to display values of sensors in it, and store the dashboard as a JSON file. Also an web application has been developed to run the dashboard on the web browser. The dashboard viewer web application connects on MQTT-based IoT system, receives values from the sensors, and displays the values on charts in real-time.

  • This study deals with the development of a phrase buoy control system that can receive and analyze phrase information using an IoT-based communication network to determine whether a phrase is normal or missing, to manage the current state of the phrase, check the status of the phrase in case of abnormal conditions in the phrase, and conduct management of the phrase. The fishing gear management system and integrated control structure design using an IoT-based communication network were developed, and a system test and verification were carried out to verify the effectiveness of the system.

  • In this research, design and fabrication of marine repeater capable to extend communication coverage in monitoring system of fishing gear automatic identification, which is one of implementation method of the real-name electric fishing gear system declared by Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in 2016, is reported. The proposed marine repeater is fabricated in a form of RF repeater with interference cancellation system (ICS), which can cancel the oscillation due to feedback signal between service antenna and link antenna. In design process, we secure the isolation of 30 dB between service antenna and link antenna. It is confirmed that when the level of feedback signal into repeater input be lower of 15 dB than repeater gain, error vector magnitude due to oscillation can be lower than the performance criterion of 6%, from the test verification. It is expected that the service coverage will be extended by applying the developed marine ICS RF repeater into marine IoT network including monitoring system of fishing gear automatic identification.

  • Real-time controllability has been a major challenge that should be addressed to ascertain the practical usage of the management systems. In this regards, for the first time, we proposed and implemented an IoT(Internet of Things)-based water tank system to improve convenience and efficiency. The reservoir can be effectively controlled by notifying the user if the condition of the reservoir is unstable. The proposed system consists of embedded H/W unit for sensor data measuring and controling, application S/W for deployment of management server via web and mobile app, and efficient database structure for managing and monitoring statistics. And machine learning algorithms can be applied for further improvements of efficiency in practice.

  • In the offshore plant industry, the Access service basket for aerial work is used of for various business purposes. However, various types of safety accidents continue to occur in operating these system. In the case of high-capacity workstations currently in use, workers are exposed to various risks in determining and operating the load capacity, proximity distance, and direction of operation. In this paper, to solve this problem, we develop a device that incorporates IoT-based monitoring and crash alarm systems into aerial work systems. The developed device was tested in the presence of experts to ensure reliability of the device, which allows workers and managers to easily check the operation status and thereby prevent safety accidents in advance.

  • 최근 사물인터넷(Internet of Things)의 발달로 인해 사물과 사물간의 통신을 이용해 사용자가 어느 곳에서나 집 또는 사무실 등의 장소의 정보를 얻을 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 IoT기기들을 스마트빌딩에 활용하는데 있어서 내부에서 공격이 발생했을 경우에 효과적으로 방어할 수 있는 방어체계가 갖추어져 있지 않아 위험하다는 점이 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 IoT 네트워크를 구축한 스마트빌딩에서 내부 사용자 접근에 대한 누적 정보를 바탕으로 스마트빌딩 내부에서 발생할 수 있는 불법적인 내부자 공격에 대하여 스마트빌딩을 안전하게 운영할 수 있는 내부자 패턴 모니터링 시스템을 제안한다.

  • 유아와 더 나아가 치매 노인, 하반신 마비 장애인 등 성인도 사용할 수 있는 배뇨 모니터링 시스템이다. 기저귀 브랜드와 유아용, 성인용을 구분하지 않는 부착 범위를 가지고 있다. 아두이노를 통해 착용자의 상태를 센싱하여 블루투스로 전송 후 안드로이드를 통해 착용자의 상태를 확인 하고 케어 하는 환경을 제공한다. 잦은 소변확인으로 느낄 수 있는 착용자의 수치심, 불편함을 디바이스를 통해 개선하는 동시에 보호자의 시간을 절약해주고 보장해준다.

  • 현재 다양한 분야에서 IoT 기술이 적용되어 편의성과 활용성이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IoT 응용 서비스의 일환으로 대기 오염 모니터링 시스템을 고안하여 이를 위한 측정 시스템의 설계를 제안한다. 제안하는 측정 시스템은 아두이노와 미세 먼지 센서를 이용하여 위치한 장소에서 실측 데이터를 수집하고 공공데이터 서버에서 제공하는 데이터를 수신하여 시간과 위치에 따라 관리할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 철도의 고속화 및 수송력 증대로 인하여 철도 터널 및 주변 환경에서 발생하는 소음 및 진동 공해는 커다란 사회문제로 대두되고 있으며, 도시의 고층화로 인해 차단벽을 이용한 방음 기술의 한계와 철도 차량의 고속, 경량화 추세로 인한 소음. 진동, 위험상황으로 인한 문제는 지속적으로 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IoT 기술을 결합한 안정성을 보장하는 IT 기반기술의 위험상황 감지, 철도 소음진동 분석, 모니터링 및 제어할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고, 철도 인근지역 주민 또는 유관기관에 소음진동 수치에 따른 적합한 대응 시스템을 제공할 수 있는 IoT 기술 제어 분석 및 안정화 서비스 시스템을 설계하였다.
