제어방식에 따른 산업용 수냉각기의 운전 특성 비교 (A Comparison of Operating Characteristics for Industrial Water Cooler with Variation of Control Methods)

  • This paper presents a comparison of operating characteristics for industrial water cooler with variation control methods. The performance analysis regarding the characteristics of condensation capacity, evaporation capacity, compressor load, COP of an on-off type cooler, a hot gas-bypass control type cooler and an inverter control type cooler with respect to the system load is reviewed, respectively. The primary results are as following: the variation of required compressor load of an on-off type cooler with respect to load is 5%, that of hot gas-bypass type is 18% and 66% for an inverter control type cooler. As the result shows, an inverter control type yields relatively huge difference of required compressor load compared to other types of control system. In terms of partial load, COP of an inverter control type cooler presents the highest value, and is considered as the optimized type for the used of the system involving frequent partial load.

  • This paper presents The performance analysis of inverter control type-industrial cooler with respect to refrigeration load and outdoor temperature. Aside from materials about simulations and foundation data regarding inverter control compressors, currently, data about commercial coolers with inverter control still lack information for performance comparison. Thus, in this paper, the experiments are done to see characteristics of condensation capacity, evaporation capacity, compressor power and COP with respect to outdoor temperature and load by using a commercial inverter control cooler model. As a result, COP difference of the inverter control cooler with respect to load is 30% at the outdoor temperature of $35^{\circ}C$, 29% at the outdoor temperature of $30^{\circ}C$, 34% at $25^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • In this Paper, the temperature control error and cooling characteristics of inverter typ coolers are evaluated to predict application validity of coolers under heating pattern and amount The temperature control error of coolers small in 15~70% range of the max. cooling ability. At less than 15% of max. cooling ability has the inverter type cooler a basic temperature control error $\pm0.5^{\circ}C$ and acts as on/off type coolers. The inverter type cooler is unsuitable for precision temperature control under the complex heating pattern. But PID control of cooler including the heating system is an alternative for the case.

  • This paper presents the capacity-control characteristics in an industrial cooler with a variable speed compressor. The inverter-type compressor is controlled by the rotational speed of the operational frequency. This type of the compressor performs the wide range of load compared to the on-off type. When the load of the system reduces, the rotational speed will be reduced. Thus, the system leads to the less power consumption and extends the longer durability of the compressor. With the variable rotational speed of the compressor the cooling capacity of the cooler is about 1.6-3.6 kW and the capacity control is about 40-100%. The system showed the highest efficiency when the rotational speed is about 45-70 Hz. The results can be used as the basic design data to control an industrial cooler.

  • 본 논문은 압축기 인버터 주파수 제어에 따른 CO2용 수냉식 열펌프의 성능 특성에 대해서 실험적으로 조사하였다. 실험장치는 압축기, 가스냉각기, 팽창밸브, 증발기, 내부 열교환기, 수액기로 구성된다. 실험장치에 사용된 모든 열교환기는 동관으로 제작된 이중관식 대향류형이다. 가스냉각기와 증발기는 2.4 m인 소시험부 6개와 4개로 각각 구성된다. 실험결과를 요약하면, 우선 증발기와 가스냉각기의 입구온도와 냉매유량이 일정한 조건하에서 압축기 인버터 주파수가 증가할수록 압축비와 토출압력이 증가한다. 또한 인버터 주파수가 증가할수록 난방능력과 압축일량은 증가하는 반면 성능계수는 감소한다. 그리고 증발기 입구 2차유체의 온도가 $15^{\circ}C$에서 $25^{\circ}C$로 증가함에 따라 압축비와 압축일량은 감소하지만 질량유량, 난방능력, 성능계수는 증가한다. 위의 이러한 경향은 종래의 프레온계 냉매 시스템의 성능 변화와 유사하다.
