  • In this paper, a photovoltaic system is designed with a step up chopper and single phase PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) voltage source inverter. Where proposed Synchronous signal and control signal was processed by one-chip microprocessor for stable modulation. The step up chopper operates in continuous mode by adjusting the duty ratio so that the photovoltaic system tracks the maximum power point of solar cell without any influence on the variation of insolation and temperature because solar cell has typical voltage and current dropping character. The single phase PWM voltage source the inverter using inverter consists of complex type of electric power converter to compensate for the defect, that is, solar cell cannot be developed continuously by connecting with the source of electric power for ordinary use. It can cause the effect of saving electric power. from 10 to 20[%]. The single phase PWM voltage source inverter operates in situation that its output voltage is in same phase with the utility voltage. In order to enhance the efficiency of photovoltaic cells, photovoltaic positioning system using sensor and microprocessor was design so that the fixed type of photovoltaic cells and photovoltaic positioning system were compared. In result, photovoltaic positioning system can improved 5% than fixed type of photovoltaic cells. In addition, I connected extra power to the system through operating the system voltage and inverter power in a synchronized way by extracting the system voltage so that the phase of the system and the phase of single-phase inverter of PWM voltage type can be synchronized. And, It controlled in order to provide stable pier to the load and the system through maintaining high lurer factor and low output power of harmonics.

  • A company needs to maintain its machines always workable in order to keep the manufacturing time minimal. If any troubles occur, they should be fixed as soon as possible. But, the complexity of modern machines make the trouble shooting difficult. So, it is important that the monitoring system for automated production system to fix every trobule easily. In this paper new, inverter control system for TG feedback a formula Control was developed. The motor control system with TG feedback controller as an effect of load disturbance, it is very difficult to guarantee the robustness of control system. The function of the implementation are 7G feedback type, and temperature scheme. The Inverter Control System approach is based on master-slave control concept. To show validity of the developed new inverter control system, severial experiments are illustrated.

  • The purpose of this study was to show how tomaintain high efficiency and to use reasonably when being applied the cold-heat storage systems to the showcase. An experimental study was performed to manufacture the showcase system in a laboratory. Comparing the result at general operation condition with that of the new condition using ice storage system, this study showed the effects of the refrigerant sub-cooling, and with using inverter. Using ice storage system, the ice making process was operated during midnight being not needed the cooling of the showcase through the continuous running of the condenser unit. And then, the refrigerant was sub-cooled using the stored cold-heat after being discharged from the air cooling condenser during the day time. Through the experiments, the load transfer rate for the showcase using inverter and ice storage was estimated about 30.0%. And showed that the total power consumption of the showcase with inverter could be reduced about 37% than that of the showcase without inverter.

  • Inverters are considered the basic building blocks of industrial electrical drive systems that are widely used for various applications; however, the failure of electronic switches mainly affects the constancy of these inverters. For safe and reliable operation of an electrical drive system, faults in power electronic switches must be detected by an efficient system that is capable of identifying the type of faults. In this paper, an open switch fault identification technique for a three-phase inverter is presented. Single, double, and triple switching faults can be diagnosed using this method. The detection mechanism is based on stator current analysis. Discrete wavelet transform (DWT) using Daubechies is performed on the Clarke transformed (-) stator current and features are extracted from the wavelets. An artificial neural network is then used for the detection and identification of faults. To prove the feasibility of this method, a Simulink model of the DWT-based feature extraction scheme using a neural network for the proposed fault detection system in a three-phase inverter with an induction motor is briefly discussed with simulation results. The simulation results show that the designed system can detect faults quite efficiently, with the ability to differentiate between single and multiple switching faults.

  • Power system for renewable energy is composed of module, transform DC power into AC power inverter, control power flow and device for a charge of the grid-connected. Power system for renewable energy produce the most DC power, when this system is much insolation in summer and daytime. But if the certain temperature rises above, the essential grid-connected power inverter is take a nose dive. There, in this paper, we propose an improved reduction of heating system. In addition, selection of the most serious heat region and through analysis of temperature characteristics according to location and distance derive the optimal model.

  • Encouragement of DER from Korean government with several policies boosts DER installation in power system. When the penetration of DER in the grid is getting high, loss of generation with break-away of DER by abnormal grid conditions should be considered, because loss of high generation causes abnormal low frequency and additional operations of protection system. Therefore, KEPCO where is Korean power utility is preparing improvement in regulations for DERs connected to the grid to support abnormal grid conditions such as low and high frequencies or voltages. This is called 'Ride Through' because the requirement is for DER to maintain grid connection during required periods when abnormal grid conditions occur. However, it is not easy to have a test for ride through capability in reality because emulation of abnormal grid conditions is not possible in real power system in operation. Also, it is not easy to have a study on grid effect when ride through capability fails with the same reason. PHILs (Power Hardware In the Loop System) makes it possible to analyze power system and hardware performance at once. Therefore, this paper introduces PHILs test methods and presents verification of ride through capability especially for low voltage grid conditions.

  • In a grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system, the traditional Z-source inverter uses a low frequency transformer to ensure galvanic isolation between the grid and the PV system. In order to combine the advantages of both Z-source inverters and transformerless PV inverters, this paper presents a modified single-phase transformerless Z-source PV grid-connected inverter and a corresponding PWM strategy to eliminate the ground leakage current. By utilizing two reversed-biased diodes, the path for the leakage current is blocked during the shoot-through state. Meanwhile, by turning off an additional switch, the PV array is decoupled from the grid during the freewheeling state. In this paper, the operation principle, PWM strategy and common-mode (CM) characteristic of the modified transformerless Z-source inverter are illustrated. Furthermore, the influence of the junction capacitances of the power switches is analyzed in detail. The total losses of the main electrical components are evaluated and compared. Finally, a theoretical analysis is presented and corroborated by experimental results from a 1-kW laboratory prototype.

  • There are many methods in controlling inverter's voltage and currents. most of all, PI control method is a general method. PI control has some merits. But, PI control has zero effect. So, steady-state response errors always exist by the zero effect. For removing the steady-state error, This paper presents the modeling, design and analysis of the double loop feedback control scheme. and computing the value of parameters and applying In the single-phase full bridge inverter for comparison and analysis between the PI control and PDFF control. The system model is employed to examine the dynamics of power circuit and select appropriate feedback variables for stable operation of the closed-loop UPS inverter system. It analyzes and proves the output characteristic of inverter system with the PDFF control.
