  • In this paper, the design and performance characteristics of a 3 kW class transformerless photovoltaic inverter was introduced. The field test results of the photovoltaic power inverter showed that the excellence of power quality, the characteristic of starting waveform, the stability and reliability of operation.

  • 본 논문에서는 LabVIEW와 Multisim을 이용한 Co-simultion 기능으로 얻은 시뮬레이션 결과와 그 과정을 기술한다. 3-Level NPC Inverter를 제어하였으며 동일한 조건에서 PSIM으로 시뮬레이션한 결과와 비교하여 보았다.

  • A PWM switching control strategy based on instantaneous integration concept for reducing hamonic components of inverter system with fluctuating input voltage is presented. Applying this strategy to single phase full bridge PWM inverter through bipolor switching method and unipolor switching method, reduction of hamonic components of output voltage and current is demonstrated through simulation. The system operation is examined and confirmed by experiments.

  • Thyristor inverter의 유형은 Switching기능에 따라 분류하고 있는데, 크게 나누어 Bridge형 converter와 Cycloconverter로 나누는데, 여기서는 이중 3상 Bridge형 Thyristor Inverter에 대한 전력변환과정을 Vector해석법에 의하여 그 개요를 설명하고, 여기에 현재 가장 효율적 switching방식이라 보고 있는 펼스폭변조환류게이트방식(Pulsewidth modulation commutation gating system)을 적용하였을 때의 효과를 첨가 설명코자 한다.

  • The photovoltaic power generation system has a great future as clean energy instead of fossil fuel, which has many environmental problems such as exhausted gas or air pollution. In a utility interactive photovoltaic generation system, a three phase inverter is used for the connection between the photovoltaic array and the utility. This paper presents a three phase inverter for photovoltaic power system with current controller, voltage controller, PLL control system and the phase detector of interactive voltage by using dq transformation. The proposed inverter system provides a sinusoidal ac current for domestic loads and the utility line with unity power factor.

  • A photovoltaic system is an infinite and clean energy system. A photovoltaic system consists of a solar cell array, a converter, a inverter and a control unit. It is necessary that the Maximum Power Point Tracker(MPPT) is applied to the photovoltaic system because the output power of solar cell array is varied with irradiation, temperature and external effects. In this paper, the neural networks theory, one of the control methods, is applied to track the maximum power point of the photovoltaic system. The MPPT using neural networks theory is proposed to improve existing energy converter efficiency. Also the theory is applied to operation of inverter type airconditionig system.

  • when electric traction system used DC 1500V runs on decline of rail road track and slows down, dc voltage goes beyond regular voltage. In this case extra power is forcibly wasted by resister because rectifier of substation and electric train including power converter and so on are out of order. This paper described a DC electric railway system, which can generate the excessive DC power form DC bus line to AC source in substation for traction system. The purpose of this study was the development of the regenerative inverter system which suppress extra DC-line voltage and regenerate the energy instead of using a resister. That is Developed regenerative inverter system returns the regenerative energy from the DC line voltage to the utility. In addition, the inverter can be compensate the harmonics caused by the power conversion devices used in the DC traction system.
