The thesis shows that we gauged vibration of vehicular load regarding WPC girder bridge and researched into dynamic characteristics(natural frequency, vibration acceleration) of WPC girder bridge. By the basic of that, we researched on vibration serviceability by looking over and being compared to vibration criteria we had before. In the thesis, the gauged vibration made an analysis of vertical acceleration through FFT method and evaluated vibration serviceability about vibration sense the body feels by means of the standard of ISO assessment standard and Meister assessment standard by referring to analysis data. This research on bridge is WPC girder bridge of 90 m span, width of 5.5 m, and the experiment was gauged by a fluent which is right way and inverse way about dump truck of gross 270 kN. Acceleration was located in the middle of 1st span, 2nd span, 3rd span. As a result of appraisal standard of Meister, the vibrations of the bridge have distributed between "level C, strongly perceptible" and "level B, disturbing". Also the vibration can be attacked with unpleasant feeling. As a result of appraisal standard of ISO, from vibration influence didn't come to 60s, and reduced comfort boundary in part of most rigorous standard that such a case didn't happen.
It is most important in small signal stability analysis of large scale power systems to compute only the dominant eigenvalues selectively with numerical stability and efficiency. Hessenberg process is numerically very stable and identifies the largest eigenvalues in magnitude. Hence, transformed system matrix must be used with the process. Inverse transformation with complex shift provides high selectivity centered on the shift, but does not possess the desired property of computing the dominant mode first. Thus, advantage of high selectivity of the transformation can be fully utilized only when the complex shift is given close to the dominant eigenvalues. In this paper, complex shift is determined by Fourier transforming the results of dynamic simulation with PTI's PSS/E transient simulation program. The convergence in Hessenberg process is accelerated using the iterative scheme. Overall, a numerically stable and very efficient small signal stability program is obtained. The stability and efficiency of the program has been validated against New England 10-machines 39-bus system and KEPCO system.

This paper describes the analysis of dynamic characteristics and prediction of the stiffness for the joint between structural members. In the process of deriving the governing equations, the stiffness values responsible for the moment and shear force were modelled by using linear and torsional springs in the middle of a clamped-clamped beam. The sensitivities of the natural frequency and modal assurance criterion were investigated as a function of the dimensionless linear and torsional spring stiffness. The reliability of the predictions for the linear and torsional stiffness values was verified by the inverse computations of the stiffness matrix. The predictive and exact theoretical stiffness values were compared for the stiffness element in the finite element formulation, and their results show an excellent correlation. It is strongly anticipated that although the proposed methodology is currently limited to the analytical utilization, it will provide a useful tool to estimate unknown joint stiffness values based on the experimental natural frequency and mode shape.

This paper presents long-term dynamic characteristics of a cable-stayed bridge where installed SHM (Structural Health Monitoring) system. Modal parameters such as natural frequencies and mode shapes are identified by modal analysis using three dimensional finite element model. The developed baseline model has a good correlation with measured natural frequencies identified from field ambient vibrations. By statistical data processing between measured natural frequencies and temperatures, it is demonstrated that the natural frequency is in linearly inverse proportion to the temperature. The estimation of temperature effects against frequency variations is performed. Mode shapes are identified from the TDD (Time Domain Decomposition) technique for ambient vibration measurements. Finally, these results demonstrate that the TDD method can apply to identify modal parameters of a cable-stayed bridge.

The optimized prosthetic mass distribution was a controversial problem in the previous studies because they are not supported by empirical evidence. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the effect of prosthetic mass properties by modeling musculoskeletal system, based on the gait analysis data from two above-knee amputees. The joint torque at hip joint was calculated using inverse dynamic analysis as the mass was changed in knee and foot prosthetic components with the same joint kinematics. The results showed that the peak flexion and abduction torque at the hip joint were 5 Nm and 15 Nm when the mass of the knee component was increased, greater than the peak flexion and abduction torque of the control group at the hip joint, respectively. On the other hand, when the mass of the foot component was increased, the peak flexion and abduction torque at the hip joint were 20 Nm and 15 Nm, greater than the peak flexion and abduction torque of the control, respectively. The hip flexion torque was 4.71-fold greater and 7.92-fold greater than the hip abduction torque for the knee mass increase and the foot mass increase on the average, respectively. Therefore, we could conclude that the effect of foot mass increase was more sensitive than that of knee mass increase for the hip flexion torque. On the contrary, the mass properties of the knee and foot components were not sensitive for the hip abduction torque. In addition, optimized prosthetic mass and appropriate mass distributions were needed to promote efficiency of rehabilitation therapy with consideration of musculoskeletal systems of amputees.

Biomechanical analysis of arm motion during steering was performed using a motion analysis technique. Three-dimensional position data for each part of arm are fed into an interactive model combining a musculoskeletal arm model and the mechanical steering system to calculate joint angles and torques using inverse kinematic and dynamic analyses, respectively. The analysis shows that elbow pronation/supination, wrist flexion/extension, shoulder adduction/abduction, and shoulder flexion/extension have significant magnitudes. Sensitivity analysis of the arm joint motion with respect to seating posture and steering wheel configuration is carried out to investigate the qualitative influence of the seating posture and driver's seat configuration on the steering behavior.
An analysis of dynamic responses is carried out on monoclinic anisotropic system due to a buried harmonic line source. The load is in the form of a normal stress acting along an arbitrary axis on the plane of symmetry within the orthotropic materials: In case that the line load is acting along the symmetry axis normal to the plane of symmetry, plane wave equation is coupled with verital shear wave and longitudinal wave. However, if the line load is acting along an arbitrary axis normal to the plane of symmetry, plane wave equation is coupled with vertical shear wave, longitudinal wave and horizontal shear wave. We first considered the equation of motion in a reference coordinate system, where the line load is coincident with a symmetry axis of the orthotropic material. Then the equation of motion is transformed into one with respect to general coordinate system with azimuthal angle by using transformation tensor. Plane wave solutions of monoclinic systems are derived for infinite media. Finally complete solutions for the plane harmonic wave are obtained by calculating the inverse of the integral transforms, in which bulk wave poles are avoided by deforming the contour of the integration to the complex plane. Numerical results for examples of orthotropic material belonging to monoclinic symmetry are demonstrated.
On marine vessels, delicate instruments such as navigation radars are normally mounted on ship masts. However the vibrations at the top of mast where the radar is mounted often cause serious deterioration in radar-tracking resolution. The most serious problem is caused by the rotational vibrations at the top of mast that may be due to wind loading, inertial loading from ship rolling and base excitations induced by the running propeller. This paper presents a method of semi-active vibration control using magneto-rheological (MR) dampers to reduce the rotational vibration of the mast. In the study, the classical optimal control algorithm, the independent modal space control algorithm and the double input - single output fuzzy control algorithm are employed for the vibration control. As the phenomenological model of an MR damper is highly nonlinear, which is difficult to analyse, a back- propagation neural network is trained to emulate the inverse dynamic characteristics of the MR damper in the analysis. The trained neural network gives the required voltage for each MR damper based on the displacement, velocity and control force of the MR damper quickly. Numerical simulations show that the proposed control methods can effectively suppress the rotational vibrations at the top of mast.

The study examines economic and environmental impacts of mass tourism on regional tourism destinations, particularly the establishment of "Ten New Bali", in Indonesia. The sample is restricted to the period of time in which annual data is available and comparable among variables from 1980 to 2015 (36 observations). All of the time series data was collected and retrieved from the World Development Indicator database published by the World Bank. This study applies cointegrating regression analysis using the fully modified OLS, canonical cointegrating regression, and dynamic OLS. The results of the study suggest that 1) there is a long-run equilibrium relationship between tourism receipts, environmental degradation and economic growth in Indonesia, 2) tourism growth and agriculture land growth are positively related to an increase of total output in the short-run in Indonesia, and 3) arable land is significant at the 0.01 level, but forest rents and CO2 from transport are not significant in the short-run in Indonesia. The results confirm that arable land is negatively related to an increase of total output in Indonesia. That is, when tourism growth in the economy is getting realized it shows that the environmental degradation increases greatly in inverse in the model, eventually negative impacts to the environment.
This paper studies the performances of five typical Phase-locked Loops (PLLs) for distorted and unbalanced grid, which are the Decoupled Double Synchronous Reference Frame PLL (DDSRF-PLL), Double Second-Order Generalized Integrator PLL (DSOGI-PLL), Double Second-Order Generalized Integrator Frequency-Lock Loop (DSOGI-FLL), Double Inverse Park Transformation PLL (DIPT-PLL) and Complex Coefficient Filter based PLL (CCF-PLL). Firstly, the principles of each method are meticulously analyzed and their unified small-signal models are proposed to reveal their interior relations and design control parameters. Then the performances are compared by simulations and experiments to investigate their dynamic and steady-state performances under the conditions of a grid voltage with a negative sequence component, a voltage drop and a frequency step. Finally, the merits and drawbacks of each PLL are given. The compared results provide a guide for the application of current control, low voltage ride through (LVRT), and unintentional islanding detection.
