The subject of this study were 508 students who were selected at random from second, and third grade of middle school in Daegu. Factor analysis and MANOVA were employed for data analysis and Scheff test for post - hoc analysis. The main findings of this study were as follows: First, there were significant differences in learning motivation of adolescents according to the degree of family strengths. More specifically, adolescents who perceived their family strengths to be high had higher intrinsic learning motivation than adolescents who perceived their family strengths to be middle and low. Second, there were significant differences in intrinsic learning motivation of adolescents according to the parent's academic expectation styles. Adolescents who perceived their parent's academic expectation styles paternal support-maternal support, paternal pressure-maternal support, and paternal support-maternal pressure showed higher intrinsic learning motivation than adolescents who perceived their parent's academic expectation styles paternal pressure-maternal pressure. Third, there were significant differences in intrinsic learning motivation of adolescents according to the parent's academic expectation styles and the degree of family strengths. In adolescents group who perceived their family strengths to be low, adolescents who perceived their the parent's academic expectation styles to be paternal support-maternal support, paternal pressure-maternal support and paternal support-maternal pressure had higher intrinsic learning motivation than adolescents who perceived their the parent's academic expectation styles to be paternal pressure-maternal pressure.

BIog services have been developed in 5 years and also many companies have introduced many kinds of blog services as well. It is expected that the blog services will grow continuously. As the number of blog users is growing rapidly, the blogs progressively exert their influences on our society and are directly connected to the success or the failure of the portal site businesses. Thus it is necessary to investigate users' motivation to use blog and to predict their intention of continuous uses of the blog. Specifically, this study is to focus on user's motivation and user's psychological status in using the blogs. Furthermore, this study explores their causal relationships. The study tries to investigate what motivations make users to use the blogs on the regular basis. Its results show that two motivation factors, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factors, significantly affect user's flow experiences and the flow experiences affect general use of the blogs.

This study examined what determinants affect the intention of retweeting on Twitter from the perspectives of motivations and social psychology. The primary theoretical foundations are the theory of reasoned action (TRA), motivation theory and social capital theory. An online survey was administrated to collect the data. The data collected was analyzed using the structural equation model (SEM). The findings showed that both the attitude toward the retweeting behavior and subjective norm have significant effects on the intention to retweet. The results also showed that the attitude toward the retweeting behaviors was influenced by the individual intrinsic motivation and the norm of reciprocity. Social trust also had a significant influence on the intention to retweet. This study discusses the implications of these findings.
With the exhibition materials and exhibition spaces are provided, it is the reaction of the visitors that completes the function of science museum. To satisfy the visitors, it is necessary to understand their needs, interests, and motives, apart from the physical environment of the museum. The purpose of this research is to verify the effect of children's personal characteristics on the satisfaction in science museum. In doing so, an interview survey was conducted: 210 primary and middle school students who had finished the exhibition tour were randomly selected and interviewed. The data was analysed by a T-test and an one-way ANOVA to find out the correlation. The results of analysis are as follows: First, a meaningful statistical differences are found by the age groups in terms of motivation, expectation, satisfaction, enjoyment, and total staying time at the museum. The lower the grade, students are satisfied with their everyday living; and this is reflected on their intrinsic motivations and higher expectations on visit. Also, their actual satisfaction and enjoyment are higher and they stay at the museum longer than the other group. Second, the group with intrinsic motivation and higher expectation is more satisfied with the contents of the exhibition than the group with extrinsic motivation. Third, the level of higher education of mothers, rather than that of fathers had mere effect on the learning of the children at the museum. Also, the children who are brought up by full-time house wives have bigger achievement of learning from the exhibition than those with working mothers.
The development and use of computer mediated communications (CMC) as a tool for teaching and learning English has grown considerably in recent years. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors related to learners' participation, achievement, and satisfaction in EFL classes using web-based bulletin boards. The total number of 77 university students participated in this study. Three domains and eight independent variables investigated in this study were a learner-related domain (attitudes toward CMC, intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, attitudes toward writing), an interaction-related domain (student-student interaction, teacher-student interaction), and an environmental domain (physical support and design of the web site). In order to determine interrelation of variables correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used. The results of this study showed that the factors predicting a learner's participation were instrumental motivation, attitudes toward writing, and teacher-student interaction. The factors explaining a learner's achievement were learner's participation and attitudes toward writing, and the factors predicting a learner's satisfaction were integrative motivation, student-student interaction, teacher-student interaction, physical support and learner's participation.
This study was conducted to investigate the motives and effects of artists and teachers who participated in the ' Explore Life through Art' support project for school education by theme of culture and arts. As a result of research analysis using online survey and in-depth interview research method, it was found that both intrinsic and extrinsic motives have a complex effect on artists and teachers' motivation to participate in the project. As for the effectiveness of participating in the project, the trust between artists and teachers and the contribution of education were positive, but the trust and satisfaction with the institution were negative. In order to increase the effectiveness of the project, it is required to improve the operation and management of the operating institution. Motivation and effectiveness of project participation are important factors in improving the quality of a project, and it is hoped that this study will serve as a basis for practical discussions on the role of operating institutions and projects.

Some problems of elementary mathematics textbook applying storytelling continue to be suggested since implementing it in mathematics instruction. The paper looks into concrete problems. First problem is the lack of mathematics education experts studying storytelling in the field. Second problem is that a variety of materials including storytelling need to be used in the process of developing instruction materials. Third problem is that storytelling needs to include integration of various mathematical knowledge. Fourth problem is that it is needed to develop making storytelling focused on mathematical concepts. Fifth problem is that there is no appropriate lessen plan necessary for instruction applying storytelling. Sixth problem is that storytelling inducts intrinsic motivation as well as extrinsic motivation. Final problem is the sources of story need to be diverse. It is expected that storytelling reflecting those aspects is developed.

Managers, supervisors, executives and others whose office is to get work done by staff in organizations would desire a motivated workforce. Despite the advances in technology, any system has tot have motivated people to achieve its goals and at some time or other, no one in charge of a unit has failed to wonder, 'How best do I get individuals and groups motivated'? What is motivation, how can employees be motivated to direct their energies towards execution of the job and how is this achieved on a sustained on-going basis? Is a highly motivated employee necessarily an ace performer? These are the issues which the author would address in the present paper. The authors has conducted an empirical study by administering motivational test and collected data from 100 corporate of Bhopal region.
This paper seeks to suggest user satisfaction model of digital signage to see how new in-store technology can effectively lead to customers' shopping satisfaction in fashion retails. Authors in particular focus on technological complexity, which is expected to serve a subtle role in using digital signage. This study employed a scenario-based online survey. Interactive digital signage with virtual try-on and video-captures functions was used as stimuli. Data were collected from 320 respondents and 307 useable responses were analyzed to examine a proposed model. Research model compares dual paths of motivators: the extrinsic motivation route that leads from usefulness to shopping outcome satisfaction and intrinsic motivation route that leads from enjoyment to shopping process satisfaction. Technological complexity of digital signage indirectly and negatively influences shopping outcome and process satisfaction, mediated by usefulness and enjoyment, but directly and positively affects shopping process satisfaction. In omni-channel environments, the findings have implications for fashion retail managers in using digital signage to maximize customer satisfaction and to counterbalance the advantages and disadvantages of technological complexity.
