액세스 네트워크의 연결 형태에 의한 B3G 네트워크 구조는 물리적/기능적 연결기준에 따라 크게 tightly-coupled 구조와 loosely-coupled 구조로 나누어진다. 본 논문에서는 이동 네트워크의 망연동에 대한 구조에서 tightly-coupled 구조에 대해 알아본다.

최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 위해 서로 이종의 통신망들을 통합하려는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그 한분야로 WLAN과 MANET 연동에 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이는 기반구조를 이용하여 상대적으로 고속 서비스와 넓은 통화권역을 보장하며 기반구조 없이 신속한 네트워크의 형성이 가능한 장점을 결합하기 위한 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 WAN과 MANET을 연동하기 위한 아키텍처에 대하여 고찰한다. 이를 위하여 기존 연동 방안에 대한 조사와 강약점을 분석하고 이들의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 아키텍처, 연동절차 및 프로토콜 스택에 대하여 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 아키텍처는 이후 성능 분석을 통하여 실용화 단계로 발전이 요구된다.

This paper describes two different S/W-based video codec systems. One is a frame-based video codec with fixed structure based on ITU H.263 standard and the other an object-based video codec with flexible architecture based on ISO MPEG-4 standard currently under specification and planned to be finalized in 1998. These codes are an experimental implementations for examining the feasibility of real-time and/or flexible S/W-based video codecs operating in intra and/or internetworking environments.

ATM 망 기술의 발전으로 BISDN 서비스를 공중망에서 제공하게 되면 LAN 의 충분한 보급으로 BISN 을 통한 LAN 간 연결은 첫번째 응용이 될 것이다. 본 고에서는 ATM 망과 LAN 사이에 연동할 IWU에서 고려해야 하는 문제점을 조사하고 이에 대한 해결 방안을 제시한다. 3 개의 연결형-비연결형 모델을 세워 비교 분석한 후 BISDN(Brodband Integrated Services Digital network)에서 비연결형 서비스 모델을 선정한다.이 모델은 BISDN에서 비연결형 서비스를 제공하는 것으로 Direct 방법과 Indirect 방법, AAL(ATM Adaptation Layer) 3/4와 AAL5 등을 비교 분석함으로써 OSI 에 따른 IWU 모델을 제안한다.

It is essential to develop the internetworking strategies between the OBP satellite B-ISDN and the terrestrial B-ISDN for the economical and efficient implementation of the future network infrastructure. We have considered the implementation issues of the emerging B-ISDN, especially interworking strategies of the terrestrial B-ISDN with the OBP satellite B-ISBN. We proposed interworking model between terrestrial B-ISDN and OBP satellite B-ISDN NNI signaling protocol, and describes the design and verification of the interworking protocol. For the verification, interworking protocol is modeled by Predicate/Action Net derived from Petri Net and the designed model is analyzed by reachability tree. Using Unix socket, the verified interworking protocol is implemented in two workstations and implemented interworking protocol is tested by local test method which is outstanding in error detection and recommended by ISO.

The network for proving information exchange function in distributed system is interconnected among other networks which are in the state of independent construction and operation. However, due to various network protocols and distributed applications, Problems occurred in the area of network interconnectivity and interoperability of distributed applications in internetworking which should provide a good interoperability. This paper proposed an improved method for finding route which has the highest interworkability between end-systems using the interrelationship of network protocol. An algorithm and method of constructing a virtual network which is suitable for required distributed application are also proposed in this research.

최근 다자간 영상 회의, 주문형 비디오, 원격 진단 시스템 등과 같이 영상 정보를 송.수신하는 멀티미디어 서비스의 개발이 활발해짐에 따라, 기존의 인터넷상에서 데이터를 저장하고 전달하는 방식이 제공하는 최선형 서비스만으로는 사용자들이 요구하는 실시간 멀티미디어 응용 서비스들을 제대로 지원할 수 없게 되었다. 따라서 네트워크 사용자들에 의해 점차적으로 종단간의 QoS에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이더넷 환경에서 종합 서비스 모델(Intergrated Service Model)로 제안된 지역 망에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 자원 예약 프로토콜인 RSVP의 성능을 분석하였다. 이를 기반으로 인터넷망에서 차별화 된 서비스 품질을 제공할 수 있는 차등화 서비스(Differentiated Service)와의 연동 모델을 향후 연구과제로 제시하고자 한다.

In this paper, we are proposed ATM AAL 1 source clock recovery methods for CBR service. The proposed method compute the difference between network clock level and the reference level by inspecting the variation of a buffer. Also it is the service clock recovery method that control local clock using the look-up table defined clock dividing rate of the difference in advance. It can be applicable to both SDH network and PDH network which has no common reference clock between its ends, it has an important mean in view of the internetworking between existing networks for the integrated service chased by B_ISDN.

현재 인터넷은 IPv4(Internetworking Protocol, version 4)를 사용하고 있다. 하지만 데이터 통신은 1970년대에 IPv4가 나온 이래에 발전을 거듭하여 왔다. IPv4는 빠르게 발전하는 인터넷에의 요구를 수용하기 위해 IPv6가 제안되었고 현재 표준이 되었다. IPv6에서는 암호화와 인증옵션들은 패킷의 신뢰성과 무결성을 등을 제공한다. 인터넷에서의 정보보호는 인터넷을 구성하는 여러 계층에서 이루어 질 수 있지만, IPsec에서는 AH(Authentication Header)프로토콜과 IPsec ESP(Encapsulating Security Payload)프로토콜 두 가지의 암호 프로토콜이 사용되지만 AH에서는 HMAC를 이용한 HMAC-MD5나 HMAC-SHA-1 중 하나를 반드시 기본 인증 알고리즘으로 지원하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 MD5를 이용한 HMAC-MD5를 기준으로 설계하였으며, Iterative Architecture과 Full loop unrolling Architecture의 두 가지 구조를 설계하였다.
