Recently, UCC, which stands for User Created Content, has emerged in various media industries including Internet. However, there exists little research regarding interaction to overcome the drawback of UCC, one way superficial form. In particular, little research has been done on the creation and effect of experiential UCC type. In the existing research, the interactive feature shows to bring the effectiveness in the field of education or promotion. So, in this study, we examine the problem of provider-centered UCC and to solve this problem, we propose a new experiential UCC form with interactive functionality by adapting the product test between UCCs. From the results of the analysis on the effectiveness of UCC after users experience the proposed UCC related to water industry, watching the interactive UCC represented the values of the higher levels in the aspect of recognition change than watching the existing UCCs. Also, the outcome showed that if this interactive UCC invigorates, UCC application will be very useful in eduction, industry, and promotion. From the analysis of the question instrument on whether an interactive UCC would be helpful or not, the positive response ratios was 84% in promotion, 70% in education, and 52% in industry, respectively.
By employing the subscriber concept in broadcasting services, IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) operators provide various grades of services to subscribers based on the billing level of the subscribers. With the income from subscribers for a basis, IPTV operators plan to provide high quality services. Since Web browser-based IPTV provides T-commerce and E-commerce services as well as television services, users may frequently visit other service domains to buy goods or content. To provide the user with charged or private services, these service domains request authentication of user. The existing authentication system is not appropriate for the IPTV service environment because the environment unavoidably forces the user to cross from one authentication-based service domain to another. Single sign-on provides a user with transparent authentication services by enabling an authenticated user to move between authentication-based service domains without any re-authentication. Like this distributed environment, since the IPTV service environment also provides a variety of authentication-based services, transparent authentication service needs to be provided to subscribers who want to access charged or private services. In this paper, we propose a new user authentication scheme for the IPTV environment. This scheme integrates the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), which is a standard for XML-based single sign on. We validate this scheme using a simple use case scenario.
Purpose - This study aims to identify the effects of communication cues, anonymity, and social presence on group polarization in computer-mediated communication (CMC) settings. Extant literature has introduced some theoretical backgrounds of social presence and SIDE (Social Identity model of Deindividuation Effects) to explain the effects of communication cues and anonymity. The concept of social presence emphasized the mediating role on communication cues and anonymity. However, most literature did not measure social presence and compare group polarization of all condition groups. This does not sufficiently explain the result of group polarization. Research design, data, and methodology - We believe that the direct impact of anonymity on group polarization can provide a more admissible and clearer explanation for the results. In addition, this study categorizes anonymity into two levels, as anonymity of group and anonymity of self. To justify the anonymity view, a laboratory experiment was conducted. The experiment was conducted in communication cues settings (visual cue; without visual cue) and anonymity settings (identified; anonymous). Each of the four settings has 10 groups consisting of five subjects each (total 200 subjects). The subjects are undergraduates from a large university, majoring in business. All experimental procedures and calculations of choice shift and preference change follow the literature. Results - First, the removal of visual cues does not produce a significant impact on group polarization, which cannot be explained by the social presence view. Second, the anonymous condition does not significantly affect group polarization, which also cannot be explained by the social presence view. However, the anonymous condition directly affects group polarization. Specifically, anonymity of self has a stronger effect on group polarization than anonymity of group. The result explains about the leading factor affecting group polarization. This study examines another view of how computer-mediated communication may be associated with group polarization. The process and outcome data from the experiment reveal that group polarization is not affected by level of social presence, but by level of anonymity. Group discussions conducted with visual cue CMC setting and identified CMC setting result in weaker group polarization. Conversely, group discussions conducted without visual cue CMC setting and anonymous CMC setting lead to stronger group polarization. The results of the study have the following implications. First, they provide clues for business organizations to design the most appropriate media conditions and preemptive social conditions to implement when making group decisions through CMC, to maximize achievements, generate amicable agreements, or actively share information. Second, this study can be useful in analyzing different adverse effects generated through Internet use. Conclusions - This research can help explain discussions and decision-making actions on Internet forums, which have recently increased, as well as providing a foundational basis in newly establishing policies for the forums. Finally, it should be noted that many other factors such as group size, topics, and group history may affect group polarization. These should be examined in future studies.

This study aims to expand K-Wave business. For this, it firstly investigated previous studies and pointed out limitations of the current scope of the K-Wave business. Therefore, as a theoretical background, it attempts to construct an analysis framework based on four types of creativity type model and to redefine the concept of K-Wave business, which refers to a series of business activities that create, utilize the asset, and reuse the originality of intellectual property assets. This study analyzes the business activities of K-Wave's asset creation, utilization, and talent linkage during 2013~2017. The scope of the asset creation covers the highest ranked movies, dramas, and K-pops, while the utilization of those is analyzed in cosmetics, food, and fashion industries. The personal talent is the source of new K-Wave value creation and Webtoon IP is analyzed. As a result, in the case of movies and dramas, the representative market is China, which is the result of the efforts to avoid the continuation of China's regulation and the development of local OTTs. It is confirmed that the product development for Chinese consumers is active as activities of K-Wave utilization in cosmetics, food and fashion. Interesting is that new K-Wave content is circulated in the beauty sector. Finally, it is confirmed that Webtoon IP, which has been structured with a solid story in individual talent, is the origin of new K-Wave asset creation such as movies and dramas.

In this paper, we present an audio stream delivery using the AMR (Adaptive Multi-Rate) coder that was adopted by ETSI and 3GPP as a standard vocoder for next generation IMT-2000 service in which includes combined sender (FEC) and receiver reconstruction technique in the Internet. By use of the media-specific FEC scheme, the possibility to recover lost packets can be much increased due to the addition of repair data to a main data stream, by which the contents of lost packets can be recovered. The AMR codec is based on the code-excited linear predictive (CELP) coding model. So we use a frame erasure concealment for CELP-based coders. The proposed scheme is evaluated with ITU-T G.729 (CS-ACELP) coder and AMR - 12.2 kbit/s through the SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) and the MOS (Mean Opinion Score) test. The proposed scheme provides 1.1 higher in Mean Opinion Score value and 5.61 dB higher than AMR - 12.2 kbit/s in terms of SNR in 10% packet loss, and maintains the communicab1e quality speech at frame erasure rates lop to 20%.

The purpose of this study are 1. Evaluate the degree of knowledge of Vaginal Birth After Cesarean(VBAC) of Korean nurses. 2. To gather and develop educational material for VBAC. The sample was surveyed Korean Nurses knowledge about VBAC, from November 1998 through March 1999. For the data analysis, the SPSS computer program percentage and frequency were used for descriptive statistics. The x2 and the t-test were used to compare the results of the two sample groups. Open questions asked in the survey were sorted out by content, then displayed in chart form. For the education material, the Internet was the main source of information. Information on the Internet was provided by professional doctors and prenatal educational nurses. The results of the survey are as follows: 1. Out of 97 Nurses 15.3% answered that cesarean deliveries do not need to be performed after previous cesarean sections : however. 46.4% answered that cesarean sections must be performed after previous cesarean sections. 2. Of the nurses surveyed 14% had no knowledge or had never heard of VBAC. 3 Nurses did not have questions from patients concerning VBAC was 34.7%. This led to the conclusion that patients either do not have knowledge about VBAC or patients have no interest in the trial of labor. 4, Nurses indicated that their information about VBAC originated from other people's experiences (31%), Nursing School (25%), Media information (9%), and through literature review (6%). This data led to the conclusion that the knowledge about VBAC may not be extensive enough to counsel and guide patients who are willing to endure the trial of labor. 5. Nurses preferred hospital education programs to develop their knowledge concerning VBAC. Based upon survey, the conclusion was made that General Nurses and Maternity Nurses did not have knowledge about VBAC success rates and the possibility of a trial of labor. In order for nurses to help patients make decisions concerning VBAC, nurses have to gam more knowledge through hospital educational programs. Further more, the study suggests that through hospital educational programs, the possibility and importance of VBAC must be emphasized to nurses who work in maternity areas. Second, through prenatal educational programs, the possibility and importance of VBAC must be explained and emphasized to patients who had previous cesarean sections. Third, the clinical pathways of VBAC need to be developed. Fourth, each hospital needs to develop multi-disciplinary teams, consis-ting of obstetricians, risk management/quality management, staff registered nurses, and the director for perinatal services. This team can review cesarean section rates and help to increase the practice of VBAC.

this is the study of the human body antenna device which can detect the powder in a 360-degree on(under) the ground whether it is metal or nonmetal using superhigh frequency RF beam equipped with the body. and it is able to transmit the data of the detection of the powder, battle combats can share that among them. with its flexible roof radial antenna structure, it emits the superhigh frequency RF beam to the front and flank multiply, preprocesses through the powder preprocessing part. and with the non-linear regression model algorism engine part, reflecting the attenuation characteristics depend on the delayed time of degree of the signal power which is received to the superhigh frequency RF beam. so it is able to detect the signal of the most likely mine or powder based on the degree of the answer signal power according to the delayed time of the superhigh frequency RF beam. also, it can detect the powder whether it is metal or nonmetal, mine, dud, VBIED. it can increase the chance of detection about 90% more than existing mine detector.

current mine detector can't division the section if it is conducted and it needs too much labor force and time. in addition to, if the user don't move the head of sensor in regular speed or move it too fast, it is hard to detect a mine exactly. according to this, to improve the problem using one direction ultrasonic wave sensing signal, that is made up of human body antenna part, main micro processor unit part, smart glasses part, body equipped LCD monitor part, wireless data transmit part, belt type power supply part, black box type camera, Security Communication headset. the user can equip this at head, body, arm, waist and leg in removable type. so it is able to detect the powder in a 360-degree on(under) the ground whether it is metal or nonmetal and it can express the 2D or 3D film about distance, form and material of the mine. so the battle combats can avoid the mine and move fast. also, through the portable battery and twin self power supply system of the power supply part, combat troops can fight without extra recharge and we can monitoring the battle situation of distant place at the command center server on real-time. and then, it makes able to sharing the information of battle among battle combats one on one. as a result, the purpose of this study is researching a smart wearable mine detector which can establish a smart battle system as if the commander is in the site of the battle.

The numerous improved schemes of remote user authentication based on password have been proposed in order to overcome the security weakness in user authentication process. Recently, some of biometric-based user authentication schemes to use personal biometric information have been introduced and they have shown the relatively higher security and the enhanced convenience as compared to traditional password-based schemes. These days wireless sensor network is a fundamental technology in face of the ubiquitous era. The wireless sensor networks to collect and process the data from sensor nodes in increasing high-tech applications require important security issues to prevent the data access from the unauthorized person. Accordingly, the research to apply to the user authentication to the wireless sensor networks has been under the progress. In 2010, Yuan et al. proposed a biometric-based user authentication scheme to be applicable for wireless sensor networks. Yuan et al. claimed that their scheme is effectively secure against the various security flaws including the stolen verifier attack. In this paper, author will prove that Yuan et al.'s scheme is still vulnerable to the password guessing attack, user impersonation attack and the replay attack, by analyzing their security weakness.

In the stage of evaluation, they look for the title and the publication date of the books. In addition, in the stage of deciding purchase, "buy immediately" was the most frequent answer while impulsive purchase is the least frequent answer. In the stage of evaluating after purchase, many of them mostly are satisfied with their purchase.
