  • As Mobile Internet users grow rapidly, Mobile Internet Companies will be in a fierce race to catch a new customer. In this situation, companies want to identify of what factors make peoples use Mobile Internet in order to develop the effective Mobile Internet services and to supply the higher service quality. However, prior researches on Mobile Internet focused on technical area such as higher data delivery, efficient compression of images, so they do not have given companies beneficial materials for making fascinating Mobile Internet service. To offer the service development materials, this research investigated important factors to use Mobile Internet from the viewpoint of customer. Moreover, the study was progressed how much these factors influenced Mobile Internet actual usage. After being surveyed service adopting model and significant factors in Marketing and in MIS(Management Information System), this study was suggested Mobile Internet Adopting Model reflected in Mobile Internet characteristics. To collect the effective data, Internet survey had been done for two weeks. The respondents were identified if they were real Mobile Internet users and how much they had used Mobile Internet for a month. The results were that important factors of Mobile Internet usage were Usefulness, Usability, System Quality and Instant Connectivity. Perceived Value of Mobile Internet influenced Mobile Internet Behavioral Intention significantly and Behavioral Intention had a significant effect on Mobile Intent usage by results. This paper concludes with discussion of these results and their implications for researcher and Mobile Internet company managers.

  • A brassier supports and protects breasts and makes a better shape of the upper half of the body through shaping breasts. A brassier, therefore, is recognized as the key underwear for female. Recently, the distribution structure and channels of the brassiere industry is diversified from conventional type of markets to department stores, convenience stores, and internet shopping mall. Studies on the sales of brassieres via internet, however, is not sufficient even though the market size has been dramatically increased thursdays. The study on the size structure (including the size and the materials fabric of brassieres circulating via internet) is especially rare. Therefore, this study tries to comply with increasing requests of consumers through comparing brassier brands on internet. In depth, this study compares cases of Korea and Japan in terms of availability of website on sales, quality indication like materials and functions, and size. The results indicated that there were three companies in Korea which run a website and make a sale through a website. All three Japanese companies operate a website and make sales on a website as well. In terms of size, Korean companies diversify their size of products in two ways. It varies from A cup to D cup based on cup size, and 65 to 100 according to its entire size. On the other hand, Japanese companies use AA, A to I to measure cup size, and 65 to 100 for entire size.

  • The purpose of this study was, as an experimental one, to suggest concrete ways to use computer in fashion design from information collection to design completion, and to present a real example based on the suggested ways. The first step to attain the purpose was gathering various sorts of worldwide fashion design information on the Internet, and then the collected data were inserted in a graphic file. Next, two methods of fashion design that use computer graphics were recommended : one was to produce fashion design just by altering some of the inputted Internet fashion materials, and the other was to do it after selected basic materials were put in database. Those methods could enable one to do fashion design just with rearrangement and smallest change of the prepared basic materials, without drawing directly, and at the same time, they could minimize time and efforts required for computer fashion design.

  • Until now, many networked robots have been connected to the Internet for the various applications. With these networked robots, very long distance teleoperation can be possible through the Internet. However, the promising area of the Internet-based teleoperation may be distance learning, because of several reasons such as the unpredictable characteristics of the Internet. In robotics class, students learn many theories about robots, but it is hard to perform the actual experiments for all students due to the rack of the real robots and safety problems. Some classes may introduce the virtual robot simulator for students to program the virtual robot and upload their program to operate the real robot through the off-line programming method. However, the students may also visit the laboratory when they want to use the real robot for testing their program. In this paper, we developed an Internet-based robot education system. The developed system was composed of two parts, the robotics class materials and the web-based Java3d robot simulator. That is, this system can provide two services for distance learning to the students through the Internet. The robotics class materials can be provided to the student as the multimedia contents on the web page. As well, the web-based robot simulator as the real experiment tool can help the students get good understanding about certain subject. So, the students can learn the required robotics theories and perform the real experiments from their web browser when they want to study themselves at any time.

  • Lots of the agricultural information come from human experiences and are in non-numerical forms. Therefore, it is difficult to process to be processed in a conventional data processing way. An internet expert system for agricultural application using the ASP(active server page) was developed to solve this problem and consisted of databases, an inference engine, and an user interface. The databases were composed of rule base, question base and link data. The inference engine was developed with the ASP for connection with web between databases. The used interface was developed with the CGI(common gateway interface), so that question could be answered on a web browser, and the session technique was used to provide proper result to each of multi-users. A prototype internet expert system was developed for diagnosis of diseases and nutritional disorders of paddy rice. The expert system was interactively worked through WWW(world wide web) at remote sites by multi-users, even at the same time. The rule base could be easily updated and modified from a web server computer by a knowledge engineer.

  • A speaker is a system which produces sound through electromechanical operations. It transforms electronic signals into audible sound signals. Almost all speakers are three dimensional. These days, many mobile electronic devices such as mobile electronic devices have become smaller and thinner. A problem with this miniaturization, however, is that the volume of speakers has also decreased. In contrast to conventional three dimensional speakers, we have invented a new type of two dimensional flexible speaker by utilizing the reverse piezoelectric effect.
