Blockchain for the Trustworthy Decentralized Web Architecture

  • The Internet was created as a decentralized and autonomous system of interconnected computer networks used for data exchange across mutually trusted participants. The element technologies on the Internet, such as inter-domain and intra-domain routing and DNS, operated in a distributed manner. With the development of the Web, the Web has become indispensable in daily life. The existing web applications allow us to form online communities, generate private information, access big data, shop online, pay bills, post photos or videos, and even order groceries. This is what has led to centralization of the Web. This centralization is now controlled by the giant social media platforms that provide it as a service, but the original Internet was not like this. These giant companies realized that the decentralized network's huge value involves gathering, organizing, and monetizing information through centralized web applications. The centralized Web applications have heralded some major issues, which will likely worsen shortly. This study focuses on these problems and investigates blockchain's potentials for decentralized web architecture capable of improving conventional web services' critical features, including autonomous, robust, and secure decentralized processing and traceable trustworthiness in tamper-proof transactions. Finally, we review the decentralized web architecture that circumvents the main Internet gatekeepers and controls our data back from the giant social media companies.

  • It is very useful because we can measure precise exercise volume at indoor and outdoor space, and receive push message and retrieve for exercise information by smart-phone at any-time and any-place if a fitness healthcare system base on IoT is utilized. This system is interlocked with IoT module including sensing device in sports equipment, IoT gateway, smart-phone, smart-band and server by internet. In this paper, when this, "a fitness healthcare system base on IoT", software is developed, a proper analysis and design method for practical affairs try to be presented due to showing software development analysis method and design method such as flowchart and UI design.

  • RIA(Rich Internet Application) has the best User Interface and easy way to use. It is used in many Application System and Web Application. This Paper introduces a RIA technology for Implementation of u-Hospital Application. This System uses a history of customers in the hospital and question about diseases, so we can improve the satisfaction of service. This paper shows that the u-Hospital System using RIA is more fast and easy than HTML application. Because RIA has special features that data can be obtained from server without reloading entire page and every user interaction does not require web server response. The proposed technology can improve the efficient u-Hospital System because it can be extended to ubiquitous mobile application.

A Study on the Development of Artificial Intelligence Crop Environment Control Framework

  • Smart agriculture is a rapidly growing field that seeks to optimize crop yields and reduce risk through the use of advanced technology. A key challenge in this field is the need to create a comprehensive smart farm system that can effectively monitor and control the growth environment of crops, particularly when cultivating new varieties. This is where fuzzy theory comes in, enabling the collection and analysis of external environmental factors to generate a rule-based system that considers the specific needs of each crop variety. By doing so, the system can easily set the optimal growth environment, reducing trial and error and the user's risk burden. This is in contrast to existing systems where parameters need to be changed for each breed and various factors considered. Additionally, the type of house used affects the environmental control factors for crops, making it necessary to adapt the system accordingly. While developing such a framework requires a significant investment of labour and time, the benefits are numerous and can lead to increased productivity and profitability in the field of smart agriculture. We developed an AI platform for optimal control of facility houses by integrating data from mushroom crops and environmental factors, and analysing the correlation between optimal control conditions and yield. Our experiments demonstrated significant performance improvement compared to the existing system.

  • In this paper, we describes about implementations of Advanced Terrestrial DMB prototype system which can provide high higher efficiency of transmission and better quality of service than Terrestrial DMB(T-DMB) system for performance improvement of conventional mobile multimedia broadcasting system. And also we analyze field test results of the system. Advanced T-DMB system has been developed to increase data rate up to double of conventional T-DMB in same bandwidth while maintaining backward compatibility, using hierarchical modulation and turbo code. We conducted field tests to verify the performance of the proposed system through implementing of test system. As a result, we confirmed 0.576Mbps and 1.152Mbps were added to mode B and mode Q of Advanced T-DMB respectively than T-DMB system.

  • In this paper, we propose the softwareization of broadcasting system. Recently, the topic of industry is the fourth industrial revolution. The fourth industrial revolution is evolving from physical to virtualization. The Industrial Revolution is based on IT technology. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and the Internet of Things, which are famous for Alpha Go, are based on software. Among IT, software is the main driver of industrial terrain change. The systemization of software on the basis of cloud environment is proceeding rapidly. System development through softwarization can reduce time to market lead time, hardware cost reduction and manual operation compared to existing hardware system. By developing and implementing broadcasting system such as IPTV based on cloud, lead time for opening service compared to existing hardware system can be shortened by more than 90% and investment cost can be saved by about 40%. In addition, the area of the system can be reduced by 50%. In addition, efficiency can be improved between infrastructures, shortening of trouble handling and ease of maintenance. Finally, we can improve customer experience through rapid service opening.

  • The MPEG-4 standard is aimed to define an object based audiovisual coding standard to address the emerging needs from interactive broadcasting. Since a broadcasting program is created on the basis of its objects, it is considered that MPEG-4 is most suitable for interactive broadcasting contents production and it can be retrieved in terms of its properties. But, there is no system that protects the copyright of digital contents and manages copyright and possibility that contents producer and author's copyright receives infringement at process that exchange contents mutually rose very. Therefore, we need to control and distribute contents according to user's permission rights. In this paper, we present the authoring system based on MPEG-4 IPMP for copyright and protection of MPEG-4 contents. The main features of the proposed approach is to provide an MPEG-4 compliant IPMP authoring system in a plug-in type along with standardized interfaces, which is to be able to incorporated into an existing MPEG-4 content authoring system. In this way, it is capable of authoring content to the MP4 file format while accommodating protection and management of content in a unified way. Furthermore, it also allows a user to edit and/or author IPMP information in a more efficient way by offering form based user interfaces.

  • This paper has studied a management system for RCST of the Satellite Multimedia Internet Service through analysing the architecture and specification of BSAN based on Digital Video Broadcasting System. In this paper, designing and implementing RCST DPM and agent system are shown. The UCD-SNMP framework served as base station for implementation of the agent. And the message protocol between RCST DPM and agent system has been also defined to provide a way for interaction.

  • As interest in mobile devices and networks has increased recently, voice over internet protocol (VoIP) service, which is a technology for transmitting voice data using an existing internet protocol (IP) network, has rapidly spread, Cheap voice call service has become possible. As the digital broadcasting service becomes popular, hybrid fiber coaxial (HFC) network technology, which uses broadband cable network through fusion of broadcasting and communication, utilizes existing communication system and network equipment to provide various new services such as interactive broadcasting service. Therefore, if UGS-AD is applied to VoCM and RTPS is applied to MTA in order to guarantee the quality of voice data in actual HFC Internet service network, it is possible to smoothly perform voice data transmission in narrow upstream band which is a problem in actual commercial HFC network We also proposed a method to improve VoIP service by improving QoS of voice data in HFC Internet service network.

A Study on Socio-technical System for Sustainability of the 4th Industrial Revolution: Machine Learning-based Analysis

  • The era of the 4th industrial revolution is a complex environment in which the cyber world and the physical world are integrated and interacted. In order to successfully implement and be sustainable the 4th industrial revolution of hyper-connectivity, hyper-convergence, and hyper-intelligence, not only the technological aspects that implemented digitalization but also the social aspects must be recognized and dealt with as important. There are socio-technical systems and socio-technical systems theory as concepts that describe systems involving complex interactions between the environmental aspects of human, mechanical and tissue systems. This study confirmed how the Socio-technical System was applied in the research literature for the last 10 years through machine learning-based analysis. Eight clusters were derived by performing co-occurrence keywords network analysis, and 13 research topics were derived and analyzed by performing a structural topic model. This study provides consensus and insight on the social and technological perspectives necessary for the sustainability of the 4th industrial revolution.
