Respondents are selected using the convenience sampling through internet survey in August 2011. For statistical analysis descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis are carried out using SPSS for Windows 12.0. The results are as follows. First, purchase decision is significantly affected by the expressional/physical properties of the product and product pictures. Second, purchase decision is significantly affected by the usefulness of shopping mall and the importance of purchase. Third, in consumer related factors, product value awareness, reliability of shopping mall, clothing involvement, psychological/economical perceived risks and age affect purchase decision. Fourth, in the regression analysis of the above significant variables on purchase decision, the order of power of these influential factors is expressional/physical properties of product, the importance of purchase, product picture, age and clothing involvement. This paper examines the effects of the Internet on the librarianship and how the changing roles of libraries and librarians are reshaping the way they serve the users in the information age. Each area of operations and services in a so-called Digital/Electronic Library, which is a phenomenon occurring now not sometime later in the future, is reviewed. The importance of keeping in mind the library' main mission of providing a service, i.e. access to information, is stressed as the pivotal point of librarianship in this global society influenced by the presence of the Internet.
The purpose of this study was to develop a web site providing sound and specific diet and nutritional information for internet users in different age groups to protect themselves from junk nutritional information. Among 660 internal users (436 in their 20s, 154 in their 30s, and 63 in their 40s), 66.4% had access to a computer to get nutritional information. Almost 38% of those in their 20s searched in the internet using the term 'diet', whereas 25.9% of those in their 30s and 27.1% of those in their 40s searched using 'cooking and recipe'(p<0.001). The main purpose of using nutritional information on the internet of the subjects was 'to take care of health'(p<0.001). Seventy percent of subjects answered 'so-so' for the satisfaction about the content of nutritional information that was self-explored. Contents related to nutritional information which needed to be improved was 'sound information' for 47.2% of those in their 30s, 'convenience for the application to daily life' for 51.1% of those in their 20s, and 39.6% of those in their 40s. A specialized nutritional information site must to be developed for users to gain access to reliable and valuable information without difficulty, as the variety of the interested area and application area for each user.

Following were the major findings. first, two-thirds of women did not use Internet even though many of these had Internet access at home. Second, those who did not have Internet access at home, those with a lower level of educational attainment, those with blue color or service occupations, and those with higher age were less likely to use Internet than their counterparts in these socio-economic variables. Third, expanding Internet infrastructure would not improve Internet use of the Elderly. Forth, the majority of those who did not use Internet did not recognize the Internet itself. This study of 322 elementary school children examined the interrelatedness of internet preference, frequencies of internet activities, usage of children's popular internet sites, knowledge of internet sites, and children's reading abilities. Usage of children's popular internet sites and knowledge of internet sites are interrelated with decoding and comprehension. Age, knowledge of internet sites, and sex predicted children's reading abilities. The extent of exposure to various internet activities differentiated children's reading comprehension. Results show that processes of reading text information and multimedia materials through the internet involve not only the skills of reading traditional printed texts but also new reading strategies.
As the information society matures, an analysis on possible outputs of internet usage is needed. Thus, this study was peformed in order to understand the utility cognition and negative outputs of internet users. The method used in this study was a web-based questionnaire that was administered to the internet users. Five hundred married men and women were analyzed with a factor and a multiple regression analysis. Results were as follows: First, many kinds of internet usages - information searching, internet shopping, electronic mail, instant messaging, and decision-making dependent on internet information - were differentiated with age. Second, the altitude about the internet was an important explanatory variable in the types of internet usage. Third, negative outputs of internet usage were great in terms of information resource management and unbalanced scheduling in daily time spent. Fourth, utility cognition was affected by qualitative elements on internet usage more than the quantitative ones.

We live in a digital age. Smartphones are used by everyone from children to the elderly. And many smart devices are pouring out and changing our daily life a lot. However, even in the development of this digital age, there are some marginalized groups. There are also those who are reluctant to expose their information in the digital age. They have difficulty making reservations on their smartphones, using payment systems, logging into the site using various authentication and verification procedures, and entering and leaving buildings. We still carry most IDs, seals, certificates, etc. in physical form. Those who use smartphones are enjoying the convenience of the times. However, among the underprivileged, the desire to pass everything with only one device is growing. In this study, the most suitable smart band model was proposed by collecting the Delphi survey and the opinions of the general public. Future research is required to improve practical usability and utility by developing cheaper and more convenient models.

The aim of this study is to investigate how travelers' destination visit intentions are influenced by avatar self-congruence in the metaverse platform. We extended the impression management theory by considering both perceived enjoyment and social engagement, and illustrated the interaction effect based on users' digital age. To achieve this, we conducted an online survey with 302 users. The survey results revealed that avatar self-congruence significantly influenced users in terms of perceived enjoyment and social engagement, thereby affecting their destination visit intentions. This study also revealed a significant interaction effect between digital age type and avatar self-congruence on users' perceived enjoyment. The results of this study are expected to provide not only a theoretical reference for metaverse research and travel research but also managerial implications for destination management and metaverse applications.
