웹 마이닝과 의사결정나무 기법을 활용한 개인별 상품추천 방법 (A personalized recommendation methodology using web usage mining and decision tree induction)

  • A personalized product recommendation is an enabling mechanism to overcome information overload occurred when shopping in an Internet marketplace. Collaborative filtering has been known to be one of the most successful recommendation methods, but its application to e-commerce has exposed well-known limitations such as sparsity and scalability, which would lead to poor recommendations. This paper suggests a personalized recommendation methodology by which we are able to get further effectiveness and quality of recommendations when applied to an Internet shopping mall. The suggested methodology is based on a variety of data mining techniques such as web usage mining, decision tree induction, association rule mining and the product taxonomy. For the evaluation of the methodology, we implement a recommender system using intelligent agent and data warehousing technologies.

  • Internet of Things is an infrastructure of the interconnected devices. In Internet of Things environment, many smart devices are used in daily life. It requires a new retrieval method using multiple devices. We propose an information retrieval method using both device characteristics and device usage characteristics in multi-device environments. Firstly, information retrieval is performed using a general purpose device. And then, it is performed using dedicated devices. Our method uses both characteristics of the devices and usage characteristics of them. Moreover, it considers queries on the general purpose device. This paper proposes a new retrieval method and describes algorithms. Then, it presents smart home scenarios. Performance evaluation is performed using the scenarios. The evaluation results show higher precision and efficiency than previous researches. The proposed method gets information more accurately and quickly in IOT multiple device environments.

Spectrum Usage Forecasting Model for Cognitive Radio Networks

  • Spectrum reuse has attracted much concern of researchers and scientists, however, the dynamic spectrum access is challenging, since an individual secondary user usually just has limited sensing abilities. One key insight is that spectrum usage forecasting among secondary users, this inspiration enables users to obtain more informed spectrum opportunities. Therefore, spectrum usage forecasting is vital to cognitive radio networks (CRNs). With this insight, a spectrum usage forecasting model for the occurrence of primary users prediction is derived in this paper. The proposed model is based on auto regressive enhanced primary user emergence reasoning (AR-PUER), which combines linear prediction and primary user emergence reasoning. Historical samples are selected to train the spectrum usage forecasting model in order to capture the current distinction pattern of primary users. The proposed scheme does not require the knowledge of signal or of noise power. To verify the performance of proposed spectrum usage forecasting model, we apply it to the data during the past two months, and then compare it with some other sensing techniques. The simulation results demonstrate that the spectrum usage forecasting model is effective and generates the most accurate prediction of primary users occasion in several cases.

대학생의 인터넷중독 유발 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the factors inducing internet addiction of college students)

  • 인터넷 사용이 보편화됨에 따라 일상생활에서 편리해진 점은 많이 있으나 여러 가지 사회문제를 야기하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대학생의 과다한 인터넷 사용이 인터넷의존성과 대인관계에 영향을 미치고, 결국에는 자기통제능력을 상실하고 일상생활에 지장을 주는 인터넷중독에 이르게 되는 관계를 밝힌다. 인터넷 사용빈도가 높을수록 인터넷의존성, 대인관계 및 인터넷중독 정도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 인터넷의존성이 클수록 대인관계에 문제가 있고, 인터넷중독 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났고 대인관계에 문제가 있을수록 인터넷중독 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

청소년의 인터넷게임 중독 영향 요인 (Factors on Internet Game Addiction among Adolescents)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore factors related to internet game addiction for adolescents. Method: This study was a cross-sectional survey, and data was collected through self-report questionnaires. Data was analyzed using the SPSS program. Results: In logistic regression analysis, the risk of being addicted to internet games was 2.22 times higher in males than females. Adolescents with low and middle academic performance also had a higher risk(2.08 times and 2.54 times) to become addicted to internet games. For the location of the computer, the risk of becoming addicted to internet games were .01 times lower in the living room or brother or sisters' room than in their own room. The risk of becoming addicted to internet games was 1.18 times higher in the higher usage time of internet games. The risk of becoming addicted to internet games was .49 times lower in the more accepting and autonomic parents' rearing attitude and .02 times lower in the high self-efficacy group than the low group. Conclusion: The result of this study suggests that there are noticeable relationships between internet game addiction and gender, academic performance, location of computer, usage time of internet games, parents' rearing attitude, and self efficacy.

인터넷 포털사이트 서비스의 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study of Factors Affecting the Continued Usage Intention of Internet Portal Sites)

  • Portal sites have been providing diverse services to attract new users and retain existing customers. Recently, they also added new services and increased quality of the services they provide to secure more customers. It is, however, not clear how people actually react to such activities. We wanted to understand the mechanism associated with users' continued usage intention of current Portal site. We assumed search, e-mail, information, community, e-commerce services as key services provided by most Portal sites and considered valuable by many customers. The quality of these services may directly affect users' continued usage intention. However, we can also assume that attractive alternatives and switching cost may have some influence on users' continued usage intention. Therefore, in this study, key variables pertaining to the quality of key services provided by Portal sites, attractive alternatives, and switching cost were examined to explain the dynamics of users' continued usage intention. An empirical study based on 891 survey responses showed the importance of the quality of key services for users' continued usage intention. Switching cost also demonstrated strong association with users' continued usage intention. However, attractive alternatives did not show a significant association with users' continued usage intention. We also found that the variable attractive alternatives moderated the relationship between the quality of search service and users' continued usage intention and the relationship between the quality of information service and users' continued usage intention. On the other hand, the variable switching cost showed a moderating effect on the relationship between the quality of e-mail service and users' continued usage intention and the relationship between the quality of community service and users' continued usage intention. This study implies that Portal sites need to make efforts not only to improve the quality of key services but also to consider attractiveness of other Portal sites' services and switching cost to secure more customers.

에너지 효율 증대를 위한 에너지 사용량 예측과 에너지 수요이전 모델 연구 (A Study on the Energy Usage Prediction and Energy Demand Shift Model to Increase Energy Efficiency)

  • 현재, 에너지 효율 향상으로 소비감축을 시행하는 새로운 에너지 시스템이 대두되고 있다. 이에 스마트그리드가 확산되면서 계시별 요금제가 확대되고 있다. 계시별 요금제는 계절별 / 시간별로 요금을 다르게 적용해 사용량에 따라 요금을 내는 요금제이다. 본 연구에서는 에너지 전력 사용량 데이터를 예측하기 위해, 온도/요일/시간/계절 등 외부 요인을 고려하고 시계열 예측 모델인 LSTM을 활용한다. 이러한 에너지 사용량 예측 모델을 기반으로 기기별 사용패턴을 분석하여 전력 에너지를 최대부하시간대에서 경부하시간대로 수요이전 함으로써 에너지 사용요금을 절감한다. 기기별 사용패턴을 분석하기 위해서는 시간대별로 기기의 사용량 패턴을 학습 및 분류하는 clustering 기법을 사용한다. 정리하자면, 본 연구에서는 사용자의 전력 데이터 사용량을 기반으로 사용량과 사용 요금을 예측 및 기기별 사용패턴을 분석하고 분석 기반의 맞춤형 수요이전 서비스를 제공함으로써 사용자에게 요금 절감 효과를 가져다 준다.

인터넷, 교육열망, 가족의 사회경제적 지위 (Internet, Educational Aspiration, and Family's Social-Economic Status)

  • 본 연구는 부모들의 사회경제적 지위와 청소년들의 교육열망이 청소년들의 인터넷 이용에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 최근의 정보격차 관련연구들은 다양한 속성에 따른 구체적인 인터넷 이용형태의 차이에 관심을 가지고 있다. 이러한 연구에 입각하여 본 연구는 부모의 사회경제적 지위에 따른 청소년들의 인터넷 이용형태의 차이가 세대간 불평등의 재생산기제로 작동할 수 있다는 가능성에 주목하여, 부모의 지위에 따른 청소년의 인터넷 이용형태의 변이 원인을 교육열망의 기제를 중심으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 청소년패널조사(KYPS)를 무작위효과모형 (random effect model)을 통해 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 부모의 사회 경제적 지위가 높 수록, 정보지향적 인터넷 활동빈도는 증가하고, 오락지향적 인터넷 활동빈도는 감소한다. 청소년의 높은 교육열망 역시 정보지향적 이용을 증가시키고, 오락지향적 이용을 감소시킨다. 교육열망의 매개효과는 정보지향적 이용에서 더욱 뚜렷하며, 교육열망의 효과는 청소년의 연령이 높아질수록 증가하는 경향이 있다. 연구의 함의와 한계가 결론에서 논의되었다.

  • 본 연구는 웹사이트에 싣고 있는 정보수준의 단계별 분류에 기초하여 한, 미, 일, 중 4개국 선도기업 웹사이트들의 활용수준을 각각 조사함으로써 국내 기업과의 전략상의 차이, 경쟁실태 및 활용현황을 구체적으로 분석하였다. 또한 본 연구는 1999년과 2001년의 연구(1, 2)를 통해 검증한 기업의 웹 활용 및 발전단계 모델을 최근 인터넷을 기업환경에 도입하기 시작하는 중국 기업들과 비교해 보았다. 한국, 미국, 일본, 중국의 기업들 중 웹사이트를 보유하고 있는 기업들을 표본으로 조사하여 초기 도입국가 기업들과 중기 도입국가 기업들, 그리고 후기 도입국가 기업들에 대해 각 국별로 나누어 발전수준과 방향을 가늠하여 보았다.

인터넷 건강정보 평가 기준을 위한 건강 소비자의 인터넷 이용행태 분석 (Analysis of Internet Usage Patterns of Health Consumers for Internet Health Information Assessment Criteria)

  • Objectives: In this paper, the survey on internet usage patterns of health consumers was conducted and analyzed in order to determine internet health information assessment criteria for providing correct consumer health information on web-sites. Methods: By using a survey questionnaire with 16 questions on general information and 20 questions on internet health information, data were collected from September 16 to 25, 2005 from 476 participants through an internet web site, http://www.hp.go.kr. Frequency analysis, t-test, and multiple regression were used in order to analyze the difference in assessment criteria, factors influencing assessment criteria, factors influencing user satisfaction, etc. Results: General characteristics of the study population were: the persons over age 40 were the smallest age group; women were accounted for 74.2%; and the persons with average income were the largest income group; and the persons with average health status were the largest health group. Most widely used health information were: exercise, disease, and diet, in order. There was significant difference(p=.001) in importance of assessment criteria between the persons in medical institutions and the persons not in medical institutions. There was no significant difference in other assessment criteria. We also found that contents of websites and easy to use were more important factors than elucidation of information providers and information sources including speciality of information in quality assessment criteria of internet health information. Discussion and Conclusion: Results of this paper were compared with the previous studies from the literatures. Contrary to the previous studies in the literature, there was significant difference in importance of assessment criteria between the persons in medical institutions and the persons not in medical institutions. In order to apply the study results to develop health contents for consumer, there is a need for further upgrade the proposed assessment criteria based on expert opinion.
