현재 우리가 사용하고 있는 Internet Protocol인 TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol)중 어드레스 IPv4 10진수 체계가 16진수 체계로 변화된 것이 바로 IPv6 Address이다. IPv6 Address특징으로서는 기하 급수적으로 늘어나는 Internet Address를 감당해낼 수 있고, Multi-Media Data 처리가 능숙한 데다 보안성까지 갖추고 있어 앞으로 이용에 대한 장래성이 기대되는 프로토콜이다.

This paper introduces a data storage transport protocol internet Advanced Technology Attachment (iATA) for ATA storage devices that can be accessed over (TCP/IP) networks. As the access speed of Advanced Technology Attachment (ATA) type storage is increasing, the importance of sharing the ATA type storages over internet is also increasing. We are proposing a protocol in which we have implemented the basic ATA command set to access the ATA type remote storage devices over the TCP/IP networks.In this paper, we give basic details of the protocol and discuss the existing storage protocols which are mainly used for accessing block storage like internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) Hyper Small Computer System Interface (HyperSCSI) and ATA over Ethernet (AoE).

This thesis outlines a preparation plan for e-Trade business service regarding tendency development in super-highway information network including internet, cable, and wireless communication. It also explains two perspectives in e-Trade market: changes of circumstances and consumerism, and revitalization devices of Von(Voice over Internet Protocol) service technology for creating new market in rapidly changing IP(Internet Protocol) environment. Plus it illustrates what core competence and progress business organizations must have in current situation, forecasts turns of future e-Trade market, and analyzes technological applications of VoIP service in an extended viewpoint of corporate strategy.

In most hacking attacks, hackers tend to access target systems in a variety of circumvent connection methods to hide their original IP. Therefore, finding the attacker's IP(Internet Protocol) from the defender's point of view is one of important issue to recognize hackers. If an attacker uses a proxy, original IP can be obtained through a program other than web browser in attacker's computer. Unfortunately, this method has no effect on the connection through VPN(Virtual Private Network), because VPN affects all applications. In an academic domain, various IP traceback methods using network equipments such as routers have been studied, but it is very difficult to be realized due to various problems including standardization and privacy. To overcome this limitation, this paper proposes a practical way to use client's network configuration temporarily until it can detect original IP. The proposed method does not only restrict usage of network, but also does not violate any privacy. We implemented and verified the proposed method in real internet with various VPN tools.

VoIP transmits voices over IP-based networks and it is the abbreviation of Voice over Internet Protocol. Recently, VoIP provides various services in addition to voices. Since VoIP services' provision is extending, VoIP service quality management is becoming an important issue. Therefore, in this paper, we study VoIP service quality management. We examine VoIP technology, service types, and network architecture. Then, we investigate key quality indicators(KQIs)/key performance indicators(KPIs) in terms of customers, not network service providers. Toward this, we also study the concept of general service quality management as well as the concept of telecommunication related service quality management. Moreover, we apply $\bar{x}$ and R charts to show how to use statistical quality control techniques in real telecommunication companies with one KQI.

The advantages of "VPN over Internet" are cost-effectiveness and flexibility However, the disadvantages are the lack of sufficient QoS mechanism and transmission capacity for high bandwidth service. Given this increasing demand for high bandwidth Internet and QoS assurances in "PN over Internet", IP/GMPLS based control plane combined with a high bandwidth capacity of DWDM optical network is seen as a very favorable approach for the realization of future "OVPN over IP/GMPLS over DWDM" Within OVPN for providing QoS guaranteed multimedia service over the NGOI(Next Generation Optical Internet) based on the "IP/GMPLS over DWDM" concept, differentiated QoS framework is one of the key issues to implement OVPN over DWDM-based NGOI. Keeping in mind that IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) and ITU-T(International Telecommunication Union) are standardizing IP/GMPLS over DWDM protocol framework as a solution for the NGOI, in this paper, we suggest Optical-LSP establishment and QoS maintenance scheme based on DOQS(Differentiated Optical QoS Service) classes, which are the key issue of DOQS protocol framework for assuring end-to-end QoS in "OVPN over IP/GMPLS over DWDM".

Mobile IP aims to support mobility within the Internet. This paper concerned with the security aspect of Mobile IP. We show that current registration protocol has a possible replay attack despite the use of authenticated registration message and replay protection. We propose a public-key based registration protocol that also distributes a session-key distribution protocol in AAA. Proposed protocol provides authentication of mobile node and session-key distribution simultaneously. It also provides non-repudiation of service request.

In this paper, some performance characteristics of VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) for MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Networks) with simulation is studied and appropriate condition for implementation of VoIP service is suggested. VoIP simulator is implemented with NS(Network Simulator)-2. VoIP traffic for simulation is generated with some codecs of G.711, G.723.1, G.726-32, G.729A, GSM.AMR and iLBC. As simulation results for traffic transmission under $670{\times}670m$ 50node MANET environment, performance data for MOS(Mean Opinion Score), network delay, packet loss rate and transmission bandwidth are measured. Normalized analysis about measured results shows that maximum VoIP connection satisfying VoIP service quality condition is 15.

In this paper, the microcontroller TCP/IP NIE(Network Interface Equipment) which is exclusive of an operating system is implemented and the applied example to a step motor motion controller is then explained. The microcontroller TCP/IP NIE supplies a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) as well as basic TCP/IP network protocols. So, the automatic setting up of the Dynamic If(Internet Protocol) is possible. To implement a control of a system with an internet, the microcontroller TCP/IP NIE is applied to a step motor motion controller and a step motor is then controlled with a Microsoft Windows-based Telnet application program.

We can foresee the rapidly growing of users by development of VoIP service what can transmit a audio traffic with low cost among a lots application using internet. VoIP needs a standardized protocol that is able to do signaling for offering high quality of services such as mobility, universal number, multiparty conference, voice mail, automatic call distribution. At the present time, a base composition elements of SIP(Session Intiation Protocol) are developing for offering VoIP based SIP in the inside and outside of the country, because SIP of IETF which has a strength from 'fast connection', 'parsing' & 'easy to compile' points of view. This paper suggests a type of Hybrid SIP Server for providing some services as 'a reducing load of SIP server that process a request method from users', 'efficiency of managing networks', 'offering services to many users'.
