  • In this paper, we present a secure on-line lottery protocol which consists of three entities: the players, the lottery provider and the bank. We utilize blind signature and hash chain technique as basic building blocks. Our protocol faithfully satisfies the general security requirements to deal with electronic transactions in safe. The proposed protocol reduces the number of communications and all transactions are executed through the Internet(On-line). By using bank as a notary and bulletin board managed by the lottery provider, we can easily settle down potential disputes which frequently occur during commercial transactions.

  • The simple regression model (SRM) is used in this study to look at potential economic growth-influencing factors. The sample's period runs from 2005 to 2019. The data was gathered from various ministries and government agencies such as the Central Bank of Afghanistan's Statistical Bulletin, the World Bank, the United Nations (UN), World Bank open data, NASA, Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of Economy (MoE), and Central Bank of Afghanistan's Statistical Bulletin (CBA), as well as the internet and news. There is an urgent need to ensure that taxes are collected in the most efficient manner possible because one of the enormous management gaps in Afghanistan over the last two decades has been tax evasion. According to the results of this study, tax evasion has a negative and significant impact on Afghanistan's economic growth. We can affirm that the subject of this article is among the most significant topics recently discussed in my country. If the right solutions are implemented, It can significantly contribute to quickening the cycle of the developing Afghan economy and turning it from an unstable to a sustainable one.

  • The objective of the present study is to identify the security factors that influence customer trust towards intention to continue using Internet banking in Malaysia. The participants are individual Internet banking users in Peninsular Malaysia. Data was collected through self-administered questionnaires distributed using the drop-off and pick-up (DOPU) technique to bank branch managers who then passed the questionnaires to their customers. A total of 413 respondents completed the questionnaires. The SPSS statistical analysis software package and Partial Least Squares statistical method were used for data analysis and hypothesis testing. The results show that authentication, confidentiality, data integrity and non-repudiation are significant factors that influence customer trust towards intention to continue using Internet banking. Trust plays a critical role in influencing the intention to continue using Internet banking in Malaysia while perceived privacy does not. An understanding of the factors identified in this study will enable Internet banking providers to effectively and efficiently enhance the security of services and thereby promote continued usage of Internet banking among customers. The findings of this study are thus expected to be of great use to Internet banking providers as improvements in Internet banking security will increase business in the long run.

  • This paper aims to empirically analyze the factors of difference in trust level for Internet-only bank by age groups. The purpose of this study is to provide clues and a research data in developing differentiation strategies that can increase consumer's trust by age group. In this study, above all, the financial consumer group was divided into the 2030s and 4050s based on age. The study explored the trust determinants of the two groups and compared the differences between the two groups using a multi-group analysis method. As results, in all age groups, financial consumer's trust was seen as a determinant of convenience, security and benefit of financial transaction costs. The difference of the determinant of trust between 2030s and 4050s occurred in the factor of benefit. Moreover, it reconfirmed that consumer's trust is later strongly extended to relationship commitment. These findings suggest that trust is of paramount importance to the Internet-only bank, whose market competition will intensify in the future.

  • This research examines the factors that influence a consumer's decision to switch to new self-service technologies. The model related to attitudes, anticipated outcomes and intentions to change a behavior was assessed using structural equation modeling at the context of a banking industry. The results revealed that 1) an attitude toward a staff, Internet banking, and an ATM would influence an attitude toward a bank, 2) an attitude toward Internet banking and ATM influence utility and enjoyment, and an attitude toward Internet banking and staff affect social acceptance, 3) an attitude toward a bank was positively associated with enjoyment, 4) an attitude toward Internet banking had a positive effect on the intention, but an attitude toward an ATM had a negative one, and 5) both anticipated outcomes, enjoyment and social acceptance, were found to influence an intention to change behavior, but utility was found to affect negatively.

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between offline trust and use of online service focusing on Internet banking. For this purpose, we suggest an extended version of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) that would explain use or acceptance of infer]nation technology especially in Internet based service areas. In order to connect offline trust with Internet banking use, TAM is extended by adding two variables - technical competence for security services that is one facet of trust on the bank's security technology and security risk that would influence use, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Empirically our model is well proved with low significance level.

  • The UFMC(Universal Filtered Multi-Carrier) is one of multi-carrier transmission technique as a candidate of transmission method for the recent 5G communication system. The UFMC can be considered as the system which has both the advantages of OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) and the simplicity of FBMC(Filter Bank Multi-Carrier). CFO(Carrier Frequency Offset) causes the problem to lower the BER performance due to a mismatch between the sub-carriers in multi-carrier transmission scheme. The effect of CFO on UFMC is not greater than the OFDM. But it still degrades the system performance caused by interference between the sub-band. In this paper, we analyze the SNR degradation due to changes in the value of EsNo and CFO on UFMC system.

  • Service quality has been a point of discussion from the decades as it is important for customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention. Various models have been proposed to measure the quality in the service sector. Models are modified in accordance with context and geography to assess the quality of service better. This study aims to investigate the impact of the modified e-SERVQUAL model on the customer perception about the existing relation and potential scope of doing business with a bank which in-turn will decide the performance of the bank. Statistical data was analyzed through various tests like reliability analysis, correlation and regression analysis using SPSS 25.0. The primary data of e-SQ and performance was gathered from 721 internet banking users using 32 item questionnaire, representing 72% response rates, of four selected Islamic banks of Malaysia. E-SERQUAL was modified by adding Shariah Compliance information about banks and products for Islamic banking customers. The finding specified that efficient & reliable services, fulfillment, security/trust, and Shariah compliance information have a significant association with the performance of Islamic banks. The research is original and its implications will be helpful for Islamic banks across the world to enhance the online experience of customers, which will help them to retain the customers in the rapid changing virtual environment.

  • The tone reservation (TR) scheme is an attractive method to reduce peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in the filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC-OQAM) systems. However, the high PAPR of FBMC signal will severely degrades system performance. To address this issue, a cyclic shift based TR (CS-TR) scheme with embedding side information (SI) is proposed to reduce the PAPR of FBMC signals. At the transmitter, four candidate signals are first generated based on cyclic shift of the output of inverse discrete Fourier transform (IDFT), and the SI of the selected signal with minimum peak power among the four candidate signals is embedded in sparse symbols with quadrature phase-shift keying constellation. Then, the TR weighted by optimal scaling factor is employed to further reduce PAPR of the selected signal. At the receiver, a reliable SI detector is presented by determining the phase rotation of SI embedding symbols, and the transmitted data blocks can be correctly demodulated according to the detected SI. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme significantly outperforms the existing TR schemes in both PAPR reduction and bit error rate (BER) performances. In addition, the proposed scheme with detected SI can achieve the same BER performance compared to the one with perfect SI.
