한국 인터넷은행의 발전 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of the Korean Internet Banks)

  • 2016년 12월 케이뱅크를 필두로 한국에서 인터넷은행이 본격적으로 출범하였다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라보다 먼저 영업을 시작한 해외의 성공사례를 분석하여, 시작점에 서 있는 국내 인터넷은행의 발전 방안을 제시하였다. 유럽, 일본, 중국, 미국 등 다수의 해외 성공 사례 분석을 통해 인터넷은행의 핵심 성공요인으로 정부 차원의 적극적인 지원 정책, 사업자들의 안정적인 지배/소유 구조 확립, ICT 기반의 차별화된 비즈니스 역량 보유 등이 식별되었다. 이러한 성공요인이 한국의 인터넷은행에 시사하는 바로 혁신의 원활한 실행을 담보하기 위한 은행의 경영 및 소유와 관련한 규제 완화, 4차 산업 혁명의 핵심 동력인 인터넷은행에 대한 적극적인 진흥 정책 도입, ICT 기반의 차별화 영역 발굴 등을 제시하였다. 향후 연구 방향으로는 국내 인터넷은행의 연간 실적과 전개 상황 등을 면밀하게 분석하여, 사업자 관점에서의 성공 포인트를 보다 상세하게 밝히고, 나아가 국내 금융 시장 및 국가 경제 활성화에 미칠 영향력과 기대 효과 등을 도출하는 것이 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • In this paper we have designed a monitoring and controlling system, which rainwater harvests. Atmega 128 microprocessor family is used for the monitoring and controlling of the system. Through the Internet, the rainwater bank system can be monitored and controlled by using JAVA program. Monitoring and controlling of the system are also possible without Internet connection.

서비스 유형에 따른 카카오뱅크 이용 영향 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the affecting factors of Kakao Bank usage in terms of service types)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the adoption of Kakao Bank in terms of benefits (functional, social, experiential, economic benefits) and differentiated services (customization and service diversity) considering service types. Benefits are personal value consumers attach to the product or service attributes and, therefore, more important than attributes of service itself when using Kakao Bank in the internet based environment. Data was collected using an online and offline survey of 131 Kakao Bank users and analyzed the data using structural equation model (SEM). The results of empirical analysis using SmartPLS show that functional benefit, experiential benefit, and customization are significantly related to the user's satisfaction, but economic benefits, social benefit, and service variety are not. Customer's satisfaction are also showed significantly to be related to the all types of Kakao Bank usage(balance check, transfer, and other services). This study has the significance in that it examines the user's satisfaction and usage of Kakao Bank in terms of benefits and differentiated services while other studies analyzed banking services focusing on the attributes of banking channel itself.

The Effect of Covid-19 Pandemic on the Adoption of Internet Banking in Indonesia: Islamic Bank and Conventional Bank

  • This study aims to examine the effect of perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEU), trust (TR), subjective norm (SN), and attitude (AT) on customer's Intention to Adopt Internet Banking (IAIB) at Islamic banks and conventional banks before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The research model is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study involves 213 respondents for Islamic banks and 410 respondents for conventional banks from 25 provinces in Indonesia. Data was analyzed using partial least square (PLS) regression with the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method. The result of data analysis confirms several hypotheses taken from the literature. The results before the Covid-19 pandemic showed that AT and SN influence IAIB in Islamic banks. Whereas in conventional banks, AT, PU, SN, and TR influence IAIB. While during the Covid-19 pandemic, it shows that the AT, PU, IB, SN, and customer TR influence IAIB in Islamic banks and conventional banks. From the analysis, it was found that the PEU variable did not have a significant effect on the intention of customers of Islamic banks and conventional banks to use Internet banking.

국내 인터넷 뱅킹 사이트의 웹 접근성 준수 실태 (Web Accessibility Compliance of Internet Bankings in Korea)

  • According to the statistics revealed by Bank of Korea on March, 2007, Internet banking transactions outnumbered face-to-face banking services in Korea. Internet banking is becoming essential in every financial service sectors. For people with disabilities, Internet banking is more meaningful because they do not need to visit the bank, thereby saving inconvenient trips. Governments in many countries are working on setting standards and laws on the web accessibility for people with disabilities. Korea government enacted Korea Disability Discrimination Act in 2007. This paper examined the web accessibility compliance of Internet banking sites. Twenty one Internet banking sites were selected from the list in the Korea Federation of Banks's Web sites. We examined four major checkpoints that are considered crucial among the fourteen checkpoints in "Internet Web Contents Accessibility Guidelines" which was amended by Ministry of the information and Communication in 2005. The results showed that all of the twenty one Internet banking sites didn't meet the four major checkpoint requirements. Moreover, only one banking site satisfied alt-text requirement that is considered the most fundamental among the checkpoints.

An Application of TAM and TRI on the Factors Affecting Internet Banking Adoption in Bangladesh

  • This study assesses the Internet banking adoption tendency by existing bank customers of Bangladesh. Currently, almost all the leading banks in the country have implemented Internet banking platforms. However, the active user count remains relatively low and there hasn't been any conclusive research on the drivers and inhibitors of Internet banking. This study evaluates the reasons and quantitatively establishes the factors leading to the adoption and usage continuance of internet banking by existing bank customers. Responses from 460 bank account holders were collected via online questionnaires using a purposive sampling approach, and a core conceptual framework based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technology Readiness Index (TRI) was used. The study concluded that internet banking adoption is significantly impacted by the ease of use, customer service, and technology familiarity. Similarly, customer satisfaction is affected by the perceived value and the perceived risk. Through regression analysis, it was found that usage continuance is 89% explained by adoption and customer satisfaction. Multi-group moderation showed significant impact by groups divided based on usage frequency, income level, and age. Perceived risk weakened the impact of perceived value and technology familiarity on usage adoption. Additionally, perceived risk reduced the impact of consumer satisfaction and usage continuance.

인터넷 전문은행의 성공 요건, 금융 소비자의 전환의도에 영향 주는 요인 분석: 카카오뱅크를 중심으로 (Study on Factors Affecting Financial Customer's Switching Intention to Internet only bank: Focus on Kakao bank)

  • 인터넷 전문은행은 2017년 국내에 처음 도입된 이후 빠르게 확산되고 있지만 그 한계점에 대한 이슈 역시 계속 대두되고 있다. 특히 점차 경쟁이 심화되는 핀테크 시장에서 인터넷 전문은행의 지속적 성장을 위해 금융소비자에 대한 이해가 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 인터넷 전문은행에 대한 소비자 태도 실증을 위해 서비스 전환의도 분석에 다수 활용된 PPM 이론을 적용하여 금융소비자의 서비스 전환의도를 확인하였다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 카카오뱅크 사용자를 대상으로 설문을 진행하여 수거한 총 132부의 데이터를 Smart PLS 3.0을 통해 분석을 수행하였다. 결론적으로 푸시효과와 풀효과가 주거래은행 전환의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하고, 무어링효과가 주거래 전환의도에 미치는 영향에 사용자의 카카오 뱅크 사용정도가 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 기존 서비스 전환 연구에 활용되던 PPM이론의 활용 범위를 핀테크 서비스로 확장 하였으며, 실무적으로 인터넷 전문은행 확산 전략 수립에 유효한 시사점을 제공할 것이다. 또한 향후 이를 바탕으로 인터넷 전문은행의 다양한 소비자 태도를 설명하는 연구로 활용 할 수 있을 것이다.

Using Web Services in the Internet Banking Transaction System

  • Web Services are rapidity becoming the enabling technology of today's e-business and e-commerce systems, and will soon transform the Web into distributed applications. The aim of this paper is to present our approach in applying Web Services into the Internet transaction banking system. The system is integrated among backend system of banks so that each bank system can communicate with each other in order to perform transactions in transferring money from an account in one bank to an account in the partner bank and vise versa. The backend systems of banks are heterogeneous information systems; therefore it is difficult to build a common environment using existing distributed technologies. Web Services provide a means for different organizations to connect their applications with one another to conduct business across a network in a platform and language independent manner [1]. The paper will examine these benefits of Web Services and apply these features into the Internet banking transaction system regardless of platform, programming languages as well as existing backend system of banks.

The Impact of E-Service Quality and Satisfaction on Customer Loyalty: Empirical Evidence from Internet Banking Users in Indonesia

  • This research is motivated by the concept of online banking or Internet banking where consumers aren't required to visit a bank branch to complete most of their basic banking transactions. They can do all of this at their own convenience, wherever they want. This research aims to find out the role of e-satisfaction in mediating the influence of e-service quality on the e-loyalty of the customer of a private bank in Indonesia. The method of data collection in this research is by using probability sampling with the simple purposive sampling technique. Data that is collected from 205 respondents is the data that meet the criteria, which are the respondent needs to be a bank customer and must have an Internet banking account. The analysis method that is used is regression analysis through the SEM method with the aid of SmartPLS 3.0 software to test the significance of e-satisfaction role in mediating the relationship between e-service quality and e-loyalty. The research result shows that e-service quality has a significant positive influence on e-satisfaction; e-satisfaction has a significant positive influence on e-loyalty, e-service has a significant positive influence on e-loyalty, and e-satisfaction significantly mediate the influence of e-service quality towards e-loyalty.

  • 초고속 인터넷 서비스 보급의 확산에 따라 인터넷 이용이 더욱 편리해지고 일상화되면서 인터넷 뱅킹은 새로운 기술혁신의 수용이 아니라 생활 속에 자리 잡은 일상의 금융서비스가 되었다. 이러한 디지털 금융환경의 변화로 인해 이제 국내에도 인터넷 전문은행의 도입에 대한 시장여건이 한층 성숙되어지고 있으며, 이에 따라 인터넷 전문은행의 성공적인 시장 진입의 가능성에 대한 관심도 그 어느 때 보다 고조되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 시장의 관심을 반영하여, 기존 인터넷 뱅킹 사용자들이 인터넷 전문은행이 도입 될 경우 전환에 대해 어떠한 수용태도를 보일 것인지에 대해 실증 분석을 통해 그 가능성을 타진해 보고자 하였다.
