Technological innovations can be protected by patents, and patent applications are filed in various patent offices around the world including the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Recently, the U.S. exportation of artificial intelligence and internet of things patents in the form of foreign sales of articles embodying U.S. patents and international technology licenses has grown substantially. However, due to the U.S. Supreme Court's Lexmark decision reconfirming an international patent exhaustion doctrine, the asian or korean importers importing such U.S. goods embodying U.S. patents do not have to worry about patent infringement liability, even when they try to resell the patented goods to the third parties. KCAB can play a substantial role in resolving such patent disputes due to qualified expert arbitrators and the International Rules of KCAB which ensure impartiality and independence of the arbitrators.

We investigated and analyzed the technological landscape of the global pet food industry, focusing on related industries in Korea and abroad. This industry accounts for the largest share of the rapidly growing global pet market. We aimed to identify and develop technologies that can strengthen Korea's position in this market. Our study employed various quantitative methods, including time series analysis, country and applicant analysis, and International Patent Classification (IPC) technology analysis. These analyses allowed us to objectively assess the current technological status, patent application distribution, and technological trends in the pet food industry. Our findings revealed that the United States currently holds the leading position in terms of patent applications within the pet food industry. This suggests that to establish a differentiated competitive edge in this field, it's crucial to develop technologies with high usability and target specific segments within related industries. Additionally, focusing on interdisciplinary research that combines Korea's existing advanced technologies with other relevant fields is essential.

This study analyses patent information of apparel design using computer technology and researches the trend of patent application focused on International Patent Classification. In terms of trend by filling data, Patent application started first in 1974 and increased sharply in 1993 with 14 cases and increased to 25 cases in 2000. In case of Korea, they began somewhat late in 1996, but reached a similar level with the leading country in 2000. In terms of trend by applicant, Gerber Garment Technology, Inc. filed 7 cases TORAY IND INC, filed 6 cases Levi Strauss & Co. filed 4 cases, NEC HOME ELECTRONICS LTD filed 3 cases, TOYOBO CO LTD filed 3 cases. Japanese companies occupied 52% and United States's companies occupied 48%. In terms of trend by country, foreigner occupied 47% of the patents filed by United State. Japanese take up 10% of total patent of United States. Korean occupied 84% of total patent of Korea and foreigner, american occupied 16% of the patents filed by Korea. In regared to International Patent Classification, in the section level G filed 92 cases(53%). In class level, G06 marked the first place in United States, Japan, and Korea. In subclass level, G06F marksed the first place with 74 cases. G06T and A61B were regarded as the new technologies. The new technologies are representing the dimensions of garment or computer-rendered model, providing the virtual reality through the texture mapping, digital dressing room or virtual dressing, and performing or retriving display on a screen for the result of changing pattern ao dress design, The technologies of core patent are designing or producing custom manufactured item, providing or prealtering the data for pattern making and visually displaying, interactively generating or previewing of various articles.

기업들의 경쟁 환경이 세계시장으로 급속히 확대되고 있다. 이에 글로벌 자동차 기업을 대상으로 한 실증분석을 통해, 기업들의 국제적인 기술수준을 비교할 수 있는 특허포트폴리오 분석 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 1991년부터 2010년까지 20년간의 삼극특허를 이용하여 국제적 수준의 특허활동을 측정하였으며, 권리적, 기술적, 경제적 측면에서 특허품질을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 미국의 자동차기업인 Ford와 GM은 특허품질이 우수하고, 특허품질의 변화도 크게 증가한 잠재적 리더로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 삼극특허를 기준으로 국적이 다른 글로벌 기업들 간의 국제적인 특허활동을 측정하고, 권리적, 기술적, 경제적 측면에서의 종합적인 특허품질을 삼극특허에 기반하여 일관성 있게 분석하는 방법을 제시한 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.

Purpose: In the period of international integration, how is the implementation of intellectual property regulation in developing countries? Do intellectual property rights help attract more Foreign direct investment (FDI)? This study aims to show the effect of intellectual property rights, reflect in the number of patent registered (Patent distribution into two components: Patent_residents and Patent_non-residents) on FDI attraction in Vietnam. Research design, data and methodology: Using Autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model for the data collected from 1990 to 2018 with EViews version 9 software. Conclusions: The results indicate that the number of patent protection has a positive effect on FDI in both short term and long term. In particular, only patent registration of foreign individuals and organizations has a significant positive effect on attracting FDI, while that of Vietnamese patents is not statistically significant. From the results of this study, we provide some recommendations to help attract FDI based on raising awareness of intellectual property rights: Increase international cooperation for innovation to learn and encourage patent; Improve the capac ity of inventing as well as the ability to register patents of Vietnamese people; Government agencies are tasked to support a nd review registration procedures; Encouraging patent registration based on the patent.

본 연구는 국제특허분류(IPC) 코드 기반의 특허 기술내용 분류를 통해 관련 기업과 기술의 특허 정보 분석에 관한 연구로 국내 최대 인터넷 기업인 네이버주식회사의 전자상거래(G06Q) 분야 출원 902건을 대상으로 하였다. 먼저 IPC 코드별 출원 및 등록건수를 조사하여 핵심 기술 분야와 특허 출원 현황을 분석하였다. 또한 IPC 코드의 주분류-부분류 상호 연결성을 조사하여 기술 융복합을 조사하였다. 마지막으로 연도별 IPC 코드별 출원 현황을 조사하여 특허 기술 변화를 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 활용한 IPC 코드 기반 특허 정보 분석을 통해 기업과 기술의 트렌드를 보다 심층적으로 예측할 수 있다.

This Study focused on IPC (International Patent Classification) for TKM (Traditional Korea Medicine) Paper. The results processed for 9,000 TKM paper by using 8th in IPC Classification. The name of Herbal Medicine assigned to IPC Classification, we assigned to two part for main-Classification(A61K) and sub-Classification (A61P). The results obtained about 77% for A61K and about 96% for A61K36 among them. And also analysed about 23% for sub-Classification(A61P) additionally. Main-Classification is distributed A61K > A61H37 > A61B5 > A61N > A61M1. Detailed Main-Classification for A61K is distributed A61K36 > A61K35 > A61K33 among Main-Classification. TKM Paper mainly analysed A61K36 and A61H37 in Main-Classification. According to the results. 'The Korean Journal of Herbology' has high-valued for Utilization as a Non Patent Document. we should constructed Database system for protection of intellectual property rights. And after We will registered minimum documentation of PCT.

특허권은 강력한 자산이다. 삼성과 애플의 특허 소송이 대표적인 사례이다. 따라서 각국에서 지식재산권이 강화되고 특허가 강조되고 있다. 특허분석의 기본은 특허정보를 활용하는 것이다. 특허정보는 새로운 기술을 제공하고 국제코드인 국제특허분류에 의해 구분되어 있다는 것이다. 논문에서는 국제특허분류코드를 이용하여 제올라이트 기술 분석에 대한 국내외 특허를 분석하였다. 1992년부터 2011년까지의 한국, 미국, 일본, 중국 및 유럽에서 출원된 특허에 대하여 출원국별, 출원인별, 연도별, 세부기술 분야로 분류하여 비교함으로써 기술개발 현황을 분석하였다.

세계가 하나의 시장으로 통합되면서 국제표준은 기업의 생사와 국가경제에 막대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 특히 정보통신분야에서 표준은 더욱 중요한 의미를 가진다. 기업들은 자사에 유리한 표준을 확대하려고 할 뿐만 아니라, 표준에 특허 등 자사의 지적재산권을 반영하려고 노력하고 있다. 이를 통해 자사의 기술을 보호함과 동시에 시장에서 점유율을 확대하려고 한다. 본 논문에서는 정보통신분야에서 대표적인 국제표준화단체인 ITU-T와 IEEE의 표준에 포함된 특허에 대해 살펴본다. 특허 데이터 분석은 특허 활동의 현황과 향후 방향에 대해 이해할 수 있는 의미 있는 연구주제이다. 국가별 특허 보유 현황과 기관별 특허 보유 현황을 기준으로 특허 데이터베이스를 분석하고, 특허 데이터베이스의 자세한 분석 결과와 그 의미를 제시한다.
