  • This study was carried out to investigate the effect of Heapyoyangjintang and Haepyoejintang extract on the contractile force of the isolated guinea pig trachea smooth muscle and elucidate its mechanism. The results were obtained as follows : 1. The isolated trachea smooth muscle was suspended in the organ bath with oxygenated kreb's Henseleit bicarbonate buffer solution at $37^{\circ}C$, and the developed tension by the drug was recorded with Isometric transducer(nacro F-60). The resting tension was approximately 0.5g. 2. The trachea smooth muscle of the isolated guinea pig was significantly relaxed by the administration of Haepyoyangjintang and Haepyoejintang extract. 3. The contractile response of the trachea smooth muscle of the isolated guinea pig to histamine$10^4M$ Was significantly inhibited by Heapyoyangjintang and Haepyoejintang extract. 4. The contractile response of the trachea smooth muscle of the isolated guinea pig to acetylcholine$10^4M$ was considerably inhibited by Haepyoyangjintang and Haepyoejintang extract. 5. The contractile response of the trachea smooth muscle of the isolated guinea pig to 5-hydorxytrtrypptamine $10^4M$ was considerably inhibited by Haepyoyangjintang and haepyoejintang extract.

  • In order to study the effects of Yunpaejaesueum known clinically for their effects of treatment for cough and asthma, the study was carried out to investigate the effect of Yunpaejaesueum extract on the contractile force of the isolated guinea pig trachea smooth muscle and elucidate its mechanism. The results were obtained as follows: 1. The isolated trachea smooth muscle of guinea pig was suspended in the organ bath with oxygenated Kreb's Henseleite bicarbonate buffer solution at $37^{\circ}C$, and the developed tension by the drug was recorded with isometric transducer(Nacro F-60). The resting tension was approximately 0.5g. 2. The isolated trachea smooth muscle of guinea pig was remakably relaxed by the administration of Yunpaejaesueum. 3. Yunpaejaesueum is significantly inhibited the contractile response of histimine 10-4 M in isolated guinea pig trachea smooth muscle. 4. Yunpaejaesueum is significantly inhibited the contractile response of acetylcholine 10-4 M in isolated guinea pig trachea smooth muscle. 5. Yunpaejaesueum is significantly inhibited the contractile response of 5-hydroxytryptamine 10-4 M in isolated guinea pig trachea smooth muscle. 6. Yunpaejaesueum is significantly inhibited the contractile response of prostaglandin F2a 10-7 M in isolated guinea pig trachea smooth muscle.

The contractile response of the trachea smooth muscle of the isolated guinea pig by prostaglandin $F2\;{\alpha}$ 10-7 M was significantly inhibited by Shihngigiltang extract.

  • 본 논문에서는 차단층 설계 변수에 따른 GaN 기반 LED의 출력 특성을 분석하였다. 사용된 LED의 기본 구조는 GaN 버퍼층을 기반으로 GaN 장벽과 InGaN 양자 우물로 이루어진 활성 영역이 AlGaN EBL(Electron Blocking Layer)과 AlGaN HBL(Hole Blocking Layer) 사이에 구성되어 있다. ISE-TCAD를 이용하여 GaN 기반 LED에서 EBL의 Al 몰분율과 두께, HBL의 Al 몰분율과 도핑 농도에 따른 출력 전력과 내부 양자 효율 특성을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 양자 우물 구조 변화에 따른 GaN 기반 LED의 출력 특성을 분석하였다. 사용된 LED의 기본 구조는 GaN 버퍼층을 기반으로 GaN 장벽과 InGaN 양자 우물로 이루어진 활성 영역이 AlGaN EBL(Electron Blocking Layer)과 AlGaN HBL(Hole Blocking Layer) 사이에 구성되어 있다. ISE-TCAD를 이용하여 LED 활성영역의 양자 우물의 두께와 개수, 장벽의 도핑 변화에 따른 출력 전력, 내부 양자 효율 특성을 분석하였다.

  • IEEE 802.11x 무선 랜 기반 유무선 통합 네트워크에서 고정 호스트인 데스크톱 PC와 이동 호스트인 PDA 간 다운스트림 성능을 개선할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다. 성능 차가 뚜렷한 이기종 단말기간 데이터 전송시 다운스트림은 업스트림에 비해 수신시간이 최대 20% 느리다. 그 이유는 송신단의 패킷 전송률에 비해 수신단의 패킷 처리율이 낮아 혼잡 윈도우 크기가 수시로 변하고, 이에 따라 컨트롤 패킷이 증가하기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 성능 저하를 완화시키기 위한 2가지 방안을 제시하였다. 먼저 PDA의 응용 계층 버퍼 크기를 증가시키면, 소켓 수신 버퍼의 처리 속도가 개선되어 혼잡 윈도우 변화율을 낮출 수 있다. 그러나 파일 액세스 시간은 버퍼 크기와 상관없이 거의 일정하였다. 버퍼 크기를 32,768바이트로 설정했을 경우 512바이트일 경우에 비해 수신시간을 32%정도 단축할 수 있었다. 또 다른 개선 방안은 송신자의 패킷간 전송 지연 시간을 설정하는 것이다. 송신단의 패킷 전송 간격을 5ms 로 지정하였을 때 수신시간을 최대 7% 단축시킬 수 있었다.

갑상선질환(甲狀腺疾患)의 Thyroglobulin에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)(예보(豫報)) (The Study on the Thyroglobulin in Thyroid Diseases)

  • In recent years with development of immuno-electrophoresis, more acurate analysis of the serum protein became possible. However, there is few reports in the literature which investigated the changes of the immunoglobulin compared with electrophoretically fractioned serum thyroglobulin in the patients with various thyroid diseases. The purpose of this report is to investigate the changes of thyroglobulin in various thyroid diseases by the method of immuno-electrophoresis and to compare the results with.serum protein fractionated by the method of agar-gel micro-electrophoresis. Materials and Methods: Sera from 9 patients with diffuse toxic goiter, 2 nodular nontoxic goiter, 2 thyroiditis, 3 hypothy, roidism, 1 thyroid cancer, 7 cystic degeneration of the thyroid gland, and 10 normal subject were taken. All cases were confirmed by various laboratory thyroid function tests and thyroid needle biopsy. Immuno-electrophoretic analysis of the serum were performed by Scheidegger's modified micro-immuno-electrophoretic method. The antiserum was obtained from the Travenol Laboratories International, Hyland Products Division and was rabbit anti-human thyroglobulin. Microscope slide agar-gel electrophoresis for serum protein fractionation was performed at $4^{\circ}C$ using veronal buffer, pH 8.6 and ionic strength 0.05, with 54 volts and 2.8 mA for 60 minutes. The fractionated slide was stained with 0.1% thiazine red. The results were as follows: 1) Increase of immune-globulin macroglobulin (IgM), alphaglobulin, and immune-globulin A (IgA) by 95.8%, 100%, 29.2% respectively was found in the serum from various thyroid diseases. 2) Thyroglobulin fraction was found to be increased in 50%, no change in 41.7%, and no line in 8.3% with all of the various goiter patients. On the other hand, 10 normal control group showed only 2 cases of increase, 5 cases of no change and 3 cases of no line.

우선순위 제어기법을 기반으로 한 재순환 Shuffle-Exchage 상호연결 ATM 스위치 (Recirculating Shuffle-Exchange Interconnection ATM Switching Network Based on a Priority Control Algorithm)

  • This paper proposes a multistage interconnection ATM switching network without internal blocking. The first is recirculating shuffle-exchange network improved on hardware complexity. The next is connected to Rank network with tree structure. In this network, after the packets transferred to the same output ports are given each priority, only a packet with highest priority is sent to the next, an the others are recirculated to the first. Rearrangeability through decomposition and composition algorithm is applied for the transferred packets in hanyan network and all they arrive at a final destinations. To analyze throughput, waiting time and packet loss ratio according tothe size of buffer, the probabilities are modeled by a binomial distribution of packet arrival.

Quantitation and Validation of Atorvastatin using HPLC-UV

  • A reversed phase HPLC analysis of atorvastatin (AS) standard solution was performed using diclofenac (DF) as internal standard. Column oven temperature, flow rate and the composition of the mobile phase were varied in order to determine a practical system setup using a C18 column and UV detector. Two C18 columns of different length were compared regarding their influence on the AS peak shape. Based on these preliminary experiments a validation study was performed utilizing a C18 column at $62^{\circ}C$ with a mobile phase consisting of sodium phosphate buffer (0.05 M, pH 4.0), methanol and acetonitrile (40:50:10, v/v/v). The detection limit for AS was $0.1{\mu}g/ml$ and inter- and intra-day calibration curves were linear over a concentration range of $0.2-50{\mu}g/ml$. Accuracy and precision were satisfactory in the AS concentration range of $0.5-50{\mu}g/ml$.
