LDTS와 EIS간 메시지 전송 프로토콜에 대한 시뮬레이션 (A Simulation for a Message Transmission Protocol between LDTS)

  • In this paper a simulation was done to verify performance of a message transmission protocol which interfaces LDTS(Local Data Transmission System) with EIS(Electronic Interlocking System), After a stage of analyzing link specifications between LDTS and EIS, transmission messages and messaging formats, simulation parameters were extracted, applied to the error control schemes such as ARQ, FEC, HARQ, and therefrom throughputs and various performance indices were analyzed Simulation program was constructed with Matlab and Matlab GUI and then converted into a stand-alone c++ program to be used on any non-Matlab environments.

Implementation of Intelligent Home Network and u-Healthcare System based on Smart-Grid

  • In this paper, we established ZIGBEE home network and combined smart-grid and u-Healthcare system. We assisted for amount of electricity management of household by interlocking home devices of wireless sensor, PLC modem, DCU and realized smart grid and u-Healthcare at the same time by verifying body heat, pulse, blood pressure change and proceeded living body signal by using SVM algorithm and variety of ZIGBEE network channel and enabled it to check real-time through IHD which is developed by user interface. In addition, we minimized the rate of energy consumption of each sensor node when living body signal is processed and realized Query Processor which is able to optimize accuracy and speed of query. We were able to check the result that is accuracy of classification 0.848 which is less accounting for average 17.9% of storage more than the real input data by using Mjoin, multiple query process and SVM algorithm.

  • 본 연구는 철도 선로변에 설치되는 LDTS(Local Data Transmission System)와 EIS(Electronic Interlocking System) 사이의 인터페이스를 위한 정보전송 프로토콜에 대한 성능검증 시뮬레이션을 위한 것으로, LDTS와 EIS사이의 링크사양, 전송 메시지 정보 및 형식, 장치간 전송 프로토콜 기준 등을 분석하여 파라미터들을 추출한 후, 이들을 ARQ, FEC, HARQ 방식들에 적용하여 처리율(Throughput) 및 여러 설계변수들에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과를 비교하였다. 시뮬레이션 프로그램은 Matlab과 Matlab GUI 툴을 이용하여 작성하여 사용자가 손쉽게 시뮬레이션 파라미터들을 조정할 수 있도록 하였고, Matlab 프로그램 완성후에는 이를 Stand-alone C++ 프로그램으로 코드변환하여 Matlab이 설치되지 않은 컴퓨터에서도 프로그램 사용이 가능하도록 하였다.

철도 진로 제어 연동 로직의 표준화를 위한 연구 (A Study on the Standardization for Railway Route Control Locking Logic)

  • A route control in railway is one of the very important system to operate a train. An efficient train route control assures to increase train operation performance with a same railway system. The erroneous route control can accompany serious accidents which occur train collision or derailment which provokes death. A Route control carries out exactly lest the accident should take place. An interlocking table is widely used for the exact route control. The table has the problem of its exactness proving because it has been established by experts. In this paper, We tried to formalize a route control using mathematical logic. A route consists of symbolized tracks, signals, switch and crossing. It represents as a set, respectively. We proposed route setting control logic, converted the elements to set logics and construct route logics with the set logics of the elements. Finally we proposed a model which presents a prototype routes and we proved the proposed logics using the proposed method.

Preventing cascading failure of electric power protection systems in nuclear power plant

  • Cascading failure is the main cause of large blackouts in electrical power systems; this paper analyzes a cascading failure in Hanbit nuclear power plant unit two (2) caused by a circuit breaker (CB) operation failure. This malfunction has been expanded to the loss of offsite power (LOOP). In this study, current practices are reviewed and then the methodologies of how to prevent cascading failures in protection power systems are introduced. An overview on the implementation of IEC61850 GOOSE messaging-based zone selective interlocking (ZSI) scheme as key solution is proposed. In consideration of ZSI blocking time, all influencing factors such as circuit breaker opening time, relay I/O response time and messages travelling time in the communication network should be taken into account. The purpose of this paper is to elaborate on the effect of cascading failure in NPP electrical power protection system and propose preventive actions for this failures. Finally, the expected advantages and challenges are elaborated.

  • In Korea's distribution and production field establishment of logistics information system and automation of logistics were greatly developed. But there is no characteristic and professionalism about hospital logistics, and distribution center is located in outside warehouse, logistics system is very important. Since hospital has human power to receive product, system is not as much required, but outside warehouse requires system for arrival from medicine and medical supplies wholesale dealer and vender, warehousing, storage, and automation facilities, and system for various works such as peaking instruction, classification, packing, cargo-working, delivery, order of medicine from hospital and non-medicine in hospital is essential. Therefore, This study is about development of automatic identification of slide which cannot be overlooked in efficiency of hospital logistics, establishment of database, and information interlocking between automatic storage system and outside warehouse.

한국형고속철도 열차제어시스템 하부구성요소 신뢰도입증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reliability Demonstration for Korea High Speed Train Control System)

  • This research provides a scheme for Highly Accelerated Stress Test that is necessary to demonstrate reliability prediction of Korean Rapid Transit Railway Train Control System sub-equipment, which is calculated by a relevant standard for failure rate prediction of electronic products. Although determining failure information generated in the process of trial running by statistic analysis is widely accepted as a measure of confirmation for reliability prediction, this research suggests the modeling for System Life Test determined by accelerating stress factors as a measure of confirmation for reliability prediction of sub-equipment unit that is generated ahead of a trial running in System Life Cycle. Consequently, the research demonstrates sub-equipment unit reliability test, which is based on the model derived from Accelerated Stress Test, according to accuracy level and the number of samples, and conducts an official experiment by making out a reliability test procedure sheet based on test time as well.

도시철도차량의 안전발판에 관한 연구 (A study on retractile train-gapfiller)

  • In case of high-levelled platform in the urban railway system, a certain width of gap is inevitably formed between the train and the platform, and the gap gets wider when it is concerned with curved portion of the tracks at platform. This gap greatly contributes to decrease of passengers' safety while boarding and alighting a train. In particular, it endangers children's safety. Gap filler system is often fitted out to minimize gap and to overcome this safety problem at platform. However, as existing gap fillers are in most case structurally complex and organized to be powered from separate supply unit, there are a range of non-favorable points from the viewpoint of cost, installation and maintenance. In addition, existing gap fillers are due to cause disruptions in operation of train, with failures such as malfunctioning of control system. In this study, the authors will review on the gap filler applicable to the platforms of various height types, which neither requires any modifications of the train nor causes any operational disruptions. The proposed gap filler system here is a by-stage retractile type and based on the idea of interlocking it with train doors open-close mechanism, without any additional power supply unit or control system.

  • The computer system is used in many application domains and any system error in these domains may either cause critical loss or threaten environment or human life. Though examples of these domains can be found in many areas, the system, which is used in domains for carrying passengers including rolling stocks in particular, is expected to show satisfactory operation all the time. The relay control logic, which is used in rolling stocks, is complex in hardware and occupies considerably large volume. Nevertheless, it has been used for a long time, to let the system safely operate even in the occurrence of an error in the computer system. However, the relay control logic circuit is so complex that the analysis of proper circuit operation and interlocking tends to be dependent only on the designer's experiences instead of being systematically performed. Especially, the analysis following a change, addition and deletion of a previous circuit according to the requirements from a source of demand is significantly limited. In this paper, the accuracy of relay control logic is verified by the use of properties of Petri Net model. In addition, how main circuit breaker (MCB) control circuit is modeled and analyzed by the design methodology is shown.

스크린도어 시스템 제어를 위한 신호 인터로킹 연구 (A Study on Signal Interlocking for Screen Door System)

  • The Platform Screen Door system(PSD) is scheduled to be installed on the platform of some subway stations in Seoul, Pusan, Kwang-Ju, Daejun and Daegu and all stations of Seoul Subway No 9. will equipped with PSD. On the other hand Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Speed(SMRT) that has operated the train automatically had finished the basic desic design and the execution drawing of PSD and installed successfully the PSD on the platforms in the Kimpo Airport station in Subway Line No 5. at dec. 2005. The exhibition operations of PSD has made the major contribution to build up the safe and optimum subway for the increasing customers. Nowadays PSD has operated on ATO sections and ATS sections. But in the case of closing the door manually in ATO sections, it would be delayed about 5 seconds in closing the door of PSD. Although the interface of PSD, train and the signal system is established automatically, we have to supplement technically on the interface between train, PSD and the ground signal interface equipments. Therefore I will center on the optimizing methods about the interfacing system between the train and the PSD, train and the signal system to overcome the above problems in this study.
