  • The design of space, which focuses on human senses and perception, has become more prominent. It can be understood as the space needed for a field of experience. Phenomenological attitude focuses on the relations between human in the context of their environment. The experiences generated were used as a method of design. The method guides a formation of active space through phenomenological experience in interior space as well as architecture. To stimulate a phenomenological sensitive experience, the parameters for certain experiences were connected to the five senses, finally creating a concrete space. Water, light, air, vapor, and earth as architectural media are connected to the five senses and lead to intermediation from abstract to actual. In particular, water is deeply rooted in peoples subconsciousness and stimulates our instincts. Using water by effectively combining its symbols and physical characteristics will be a method to reinforce the experience with a given space. This study will examine the need for space experience and characteristics of water as an essential elements for perception experience and present possible experimental design.

  • According to the passage of an age, a method which communicates each other between the city and space, and space and a human has changed. Recently, as the city is developing related with the public, the sphere and a territory of activity of a public has been wider in an environment of the city. Therefore, development of night scenery and the rise of a medium of a vision are accompanied with a new material and the high-technology. Innovation of abundant techniques tends to being surface and mass media, and breaks from the architectural aspect of space as mutual expansion of relations between interior and exterior, and making a boundary obscurely. Space design represents peculiarity of non-territorial which modern art, an advertisement, a media and a reflection are integrated as getting over above tendency. As we find out methods which the public can communicate with the space in wider territory, the public and the space can extend mutual relations and the design of modern space is been varying a part as the space which has a context of city and synthetic sociality for the public by avoiding independent objects.

Although pleasant space can be made by many different methods, this study start from the thought that a space with plants is the best to satisfy human's basic emotion. The method of study is through research and analysis with many kinds of references and examples, and then the results were used to make design guide which introduces Green Amenity Space in residential space. The pleasant space that human pursuits should be the human-centered space as well as the space giving them mental and physical satisfaction beyond space with just function and beauty. Therefore Green Amenity Space is the best space with which human is familiar.

  • The factors to limit interior circumstance and the expression of the space start In the point how to provide the order in the interior space according to the intention of design. The controlling of the natural and artificial surroundings should be focused by synthesizing and analyzing the condition of circumstance, function, and emotion to provide the comfortable room to a customer in a fitness center. A fitness center aiming at the future requires various function according to it's role depending on the change of the social values. In addition, the fitness center reflecting the various regional culture according to the change of values requires the expansion of the cultural and life space. The characteristics of fitness space like this affects the mental effect of a customer with the color and quality of the materials suitable for the characteristics of grouping, continuity, symbolism, and generation as well as the unification in the total design and the simplicity of maintenance and management. The paper aims to extract factors related to the circumstance plan of the interior and to suggest it's application in the interior design. The design applicable to the circumstance plan of the interior will keep changing according to the social change and the change of the understanding along with the factors. The continuous research on the interior circumstance planning of a fitness center could be approach to develop in a systematic method and the paper will be expected to be a little step toward it.

  • This study is to present the visual phenomenon of natural light in the interior space. The continuously changing natural light define the visual phenomenon of the architectural space. First, the objective of this study was finding the importance of the visual phenomena which were generated from correlating natural right with the interior space. And the second was to categorize the factors of the visual phenomenon which can be useful factors for modern interior design practice. As a result of this study, two visual phenomena were classified. First; territorial phenomenon: dividing, partitioning, and sectioning by natural light, Second; phenomena by the inflow methods of natural light; a) by direct inflow; transparency, expansion, and floating, b) by filtering fixtures; the architectural structure, color, and the transluscent material, c) by dramatic spacial present of natural light, d) by the sense of direction of naturel light; continuity, and transformatiov. Found and classified each factor is not presented by itself, rather compounded forms. Because of the limited analysis of modern buildings, these found visual factors can not represent all phenomena. But if we practice these finding factors to design present interior space, it is sure of being very valuable factors to re-introduce the overlooked natural light into interior space.

Staring from the space analysis, identification of the design factors, characters of the anthropometry for the dwelling behavior, and analyzed dimensions of the interior furniture from the market data have uniformly integrated to engage with such system for innovation and diversification of the space design method. The elements of the composition factors are as follows: 1. Structural elements - $\circled1$Bearing wall $\circled2$Ceiling $\circled3$Floor $\circled4$Structural column 2. furniture elements - $\circled1$Fixed furniture $\circled2$Movable furniture $\circled3$Non-bearing wall $\circled4$F1exible wall $\circled5$Void & Solid 3. Finished material elements - $\circled1$Structural material $\circled2$Doub1e shell $\circled3$Color & Tone $\circled4$Lighting system For the design system selected space in restricted in 3way directional axis X,Y,Z to form its volume and direction of the space composition factors. X-axis is stands for horizontal length of the factor, Y-axis is for the space depth, and lastly, Z-axis is for the hieghts of the space based on anthropometris.
