Al-Insert 사출성형을 이용한 자동차 내장재 부품 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Automobile Interior Parts through Al-Insert Injection Moulding)

  • Generally, Aluminum is superior to durability, light, and characteristics of the material are embossed luminant. So, these characteristics of aluminum will be used automobile interior parts by aluminum injection moulding. Especially, The external of Aluminum plate is engraved differing pattern by roller working. This working can use any longer and be seen gracefully. This is the reason why aluminum insert moulding is used. This feature of research can be characterized by simple process to customize aluminum sheet of blanking and forming process with internal parts of configuration if products are injected by aluminum sheet. Besides, to analysis completed Automobile interior parts to be concerned volumetric shrinkage, best gate location, fill time analysis and so on through the mold-flow before the aluminum insert moulding is worked.

시작 차량의 실내 감성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Enhancement of Human Sensitivity for Interior of Prototype Vehicles)

  • As the new model development lead time becoming shorter and the market requirements becoming more strict, automobile manufacturer begins to utilize 3-dimensional CAD system based techniques such as DMU (Digital Mock-up), Rf (Rapid Prototyping), VE (Virtual Engineering) to meet the market trends. But, no satisfactory utilities have been developed yet, to represent emotional properties such as embossment on the surface of interior parts, touch originated from material characteristics in virtual environment, so it is inevitable to manufacture prototype parts to verify actual feeling which passengers feel in automobile. This paper suggests a methodology to enhance the human sensitivity via embodying embossment on the surface of prototype car interior trim without deterioration of dimensional accuracy using RIM (Reaction Injection Molding) and thermoforming method.

  • Generally a plastic injection molding is a manufacturing process used to produce the various parts of complicated shape at low cost. The objective of this study is to implement a new plastic injection molding process with inserted Aluminum sheet, which is highly durable, light and luminous. Moldflow analysis and simulation of plastic injection molding process with inserted Aluminum sheet were carried out in order to predict optimal molding operation conditions. The experimental results in the Al-inserted plastic injection molding process were compared with the simulation results by Moldflow. Durability and reliability test results for trial products were satisfied to adopt the Al-inserted plastic injection molding process developed as manufacturing of automobile interior parts.

  • To reduce the leadtime for a new model according to the strict market requirements, automobile manufacturer begins to utilize 3-dimensional CAD based techniques such as DMU(Digital Mock-Up). Visualizing sphere-contacting areas on automobile parts for ECE inspection

  • To satisfy safety regulations of Economic Commission for Europe (ECE), the surface regions of automobile parts must have a sufficient degree of roundness if there is any chance that they could contact a sphere of 50.0 mm radius (exterior parts) or 82.5 mm radius (interior parts). In this paper, a new offset-based method is developed to automatically detect the possible sphere-contacting shape of such parts. A polyhedral model that precisely approximates the part shape is given as input, and the offset shape of the model is obtained as the Boolean union of the expanded shapes of all surface triangles. We adopt a triple-dexel representation of the 3D model to enable stable and precise Boolean union computations. To accelerate the dexel operations in these Boolean computations, a new parallel processing method with a pseudo-list structure and axis-aligned bounding box is developed. The possible sphere-contacting shape of the part surface is then extracted from the offset shape as a set of points or a set of polygons.

  • In the modern era, the world is facing unprecedented challenges in form of environmental pollution and international agencies are forcing scientists and materialists to look for green materials and structures to counter this problem. Composites based on renewable sources like plant based fibres, vegetable fibres are finding increasing use in interior components of automobile vehicles, aircraft, and building construction. In the present study, jute and flax fibre based composites were developed and tested for assessing their suitability for possible applications in interior cabin and parts of automobile and aerospace vehicles. Matrix system involves epoxy as resin and fibre weight fractions used were 45% and 55% respectively. Composites samples were prepared as per American society for testing and materials (ASTM) standard and were tested for individual fiber tensile strength, composite tensile strength, and flexural strength to analyse its behavior under various loading conditions. The results revealed that the Jute fibre composites possess enhanced mechanical properties over Flax fibre composites.

  • 플라스틱은 양호한 내구성과 더불어 가벼우면서 장시간 경과하여도 변질이 없는 특성으로 인하여 자동차 내장 부품의 가장 주요한 소재로 활용되어지고 있다. Moldflow를 이용한 자동차 기어박스커버의 플라스틱 사출공정 시뮬레이션을 통해 충전시간, 웰드라인, 에어트랩 등 사출성형 공정에 대한 사전분석을 제시하였다.

Efficiency of plastic master cylinder can modularize higher, light weight anger of parts, several piece parts by single parts, prove NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness) than aluminum master cylinder as analysis result. Also, structure is easy simplicity, exchange, maintenance costs can be reduced and decrease environmental pollution because recycling is superior. According as content of glass fiber increases, mechanical properties of matter of material increase equally and glass fiber changed variously by condition on manufacturing process. Through comparison analysis with Plastic Body development connection site, did verification.
