High glossy painting and UV lithographic painting as painting methods for wooden furniture have played a positive role in enhancing the diversity of furniture design, which has been proved by the analysis on the relationship between the change in the diversity of design and painting methods of graduation projects (wooden furniture) presented by graduates of local universities, as a focus of this article. Since the development of new painting methods has the potential to develop aesthetic characteristics of wooden furniture, many design experiments are needed to improve decorative features of furniture, such as the application of high glossy painting and UV lithographic painting.

The purposes of this study were to summarize the concept of well-being and well-being apartment, to grasp the present condition of apartments which were introduced with well-being factors, and to find out the consumer preferences of design factors for well-being apartment. Library and internet surveys were performed to summarize the concept of well-being and well-being apartment and to grasp the present condition of apartments which were introduced with well-being factors. Questionnaire survey was carried out from 2nd to 22nd of June 2005, to investigate the preferences of design factors for well-being apartment, and the respondents were 250 residents living in urban area. As major result, the design factors haying the preference were revealed as complex design, sports & health facility, and interior surface materials.

Fashion specialty store is based on one theme called "Fashion", to pursue originality of facilities in one concept from merchandising, environmental planning and facilities management and satisfy consumer's urge quantitatively as well as qualitative]y also congreqation of characteristic space, distingtion from commor store, not only selling goods but also jointly owned funtiona] space such as information and culture. So this research. with the importance of image. to present the basic information of interior design, study on the analyzing the type of image and the factor of composition focused on the complex fashion specialty store in own brand. Ana]yzing thr type of image with preliminary research and the first and second questionnair, with this make a comparision between the factor of composition and image. Hi-Tech Ylodern, Natural. and casual image '||'&'||'#8226; Secondly, according to the factor of composition is as follows, Such as Architecture, Surface. Furniture, Lighting and Display, the factor of composition is as follows : Architectura] factor divided into vertical. horizental. flexibility and exterior, Surface : material. and main color, Furniture : form and material. Lighting : lighting fixture and genera] lighting system, and Display: window and interior display . '||'&'||'#8226; Third]y, make a comparision of image. simple and feminine with Hi-Tech, Semi-Classic toward natural. complicated, feminine. and Low-Tech, Hi Tech ~.Iodern image, toward modem. natural. simple feel and somehow feminine. The co-operated residential form of the apartment has been with us for 30 years. The apartment is becoming the most popular form of residence, although there is still a few aspects of the apartment that need to be Improved. After the institution of the unrestrained house value in 1989 that started in Seoul, the main viewpoint of the suppliers the uniform characteristic idea has been adjusted to the various ideas and the viewpoint of the consumer. This has resulted in the prismatic composition of buildings, more stories, upgrading the quality of the design and a preference for wider space of the residence. In this study: (1) theplane surface of interior space and the design quality of the apartment from tile beginning of the 60s are considered. (2) The attribute of the apartment is grasped through analysis of the current (2002-2003) apartment within the country according to the various areas. The prediction of the future residential environment change is analyzed and as a consequence, the modification of the interior space is forecast and suggests the design trends of the apartment. I hope that this, investigation is helpful as it attempts to produce high quality residential space that reflects the harmony of technological development of the apartment and sentiment and emotion of the human being.

본 논문에서는 전기자동차용 견인전동기로서의 다극 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기의 회전자 돌극 설계에 의한 토크리플 개선 방안을 연구하였다. 다극 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기의 경우 영구자석에서 발생되는 자속이 고정자에 쇄교되지 않고 회전자 브릿지를 통해 누설되는 자속이 크다. 이러한 누설자속을 줄여 출력밀도를 향상시키고 토크리플을 저감하기 위해 영구자석 사이의 회전자 표면에 슬릿을 적용하였다. 슬릿에 적용되는 두 설계 파라미터를 제안하고 반응표면법을 이용하여 토크리플 감소와 출력 향상 최대화 설계를 수행하였다. 자속의 포화를 고려하기 위해 본 논문에서는 2차원 유한요소법을 이용하여 특성해석을 수행하고 이를 분석하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to optimize rotor shape of interior permanent magnet (IPM) motor for high torque. V-shaped permanent magnet arrangement is applied to obtain more torque than prototype IPM. The performance, based on finite element method, is evaluated as torque per rotor volume (TRV). In this paper, response surface methodology (RSM) is used to search optimal shape of the rotor. The usefulness of RSM in optimal design of IPM motor is verified by comparing TRV between prototype and optimized V-type.

The purpose of this study is to examine the innovative and experimental housing design alternatives in the transition period to the modern era and to discuss about the motivation of modern architectural form. Thus, first, this study examined the planning concepts and the meaning of new design of the four Werkbund dwelling Exhibitions in eastern Europe reflecting the demands of modern times. Second, I analyzed how the formative experiment appeared as a stereoscopic mass design and as a architectural composition in exterior. Experimental trials at housing exhibitions were to respond to the demands for the new forms, which required a new approach to modern style and aesthetics. The major features of formative experiments can be summarized as follows. First, new housing design have escaped from the historically descended style. Secondly, through the operation of volume and surface modern dwelling created a formative conformation. Finally, the shape and the surface replaced the decoration. In conclusion, the works of modern architects can be said to have achieved the harmony between 'purpose of expression' and 'technical purpose' in realizing the 'Zeitgeist' that corresponds to the paradigm of modern housing.

This study attempts to clarify inter-relationship between design expression in the surface of contemporary multi-family housing and physical trends in this digital age. The study examines characteristics of housing design influenced from new digital technology in the forms of metaphor such as dematerialization, fluidity and mobility. Currently constructed multi-family housing in Europe after 1990 has been analyzed to find digital reflections in the surfaces. As a conclusion, findings are as follows; In this digital age, a house is considered as a base in the forms of boxes and containers to network to outer worlds. In a complex of multi-family housing, public spaces move to the inside and become parts of private domain. Therefore, a house directly faces a street/outer world without transitional areas and devices. The facades of housing become delicate skins to control private domain in the inside and the world in the outside. In this digital age, the surfaces of housing are designed by ways of wrapping and screening. Printing and mapping methods are used to surface design because they are manipulative and flexible methods in design like graphic design. Screening devices using louvers and shutters are powerful tools to make random and unpredictable images. If units of a louver and a shutter were pixels, a whole surface would be a digital screen. In such assumption, the facade of buildings reflects digital screen to interface while the louvers in operation reflect clicking to network. As a conclusion, design expression in surfaces in-between of multi-family housing is a metaphor of digital mechanism.

To begin with, this research arranged this concepts by analyzing paper a reference paper. So, the theory was arranged by approaching the ideal, formative and contemporary side. In order to type characteristics expression of organic design, after year 2000 printed in "Interiors" journal analyzed the contents based on interior works. 1. A type of metaphorical expression, order and the imitations of animals and plants. 2. A type of non liner, and dynamical balance and irregularity. 3. A type of mass of indeterminate form. 4. A type of fluidity by a curved line and a curved surface.

Discussions on transparency have been being analyzed as variedly as the diversity itself in contemporary architecture. Though it is inappropriate to summarize the discussions into several specific viewpoints, as the notional classifications on transparency are varied according to the points of individual researchers, it can be said that, by approaching with the standpoint of the designers who may have various difficulties in the course of design, the meaning of this thesis lies largely in the fact that it attempted to study the architectural application techniques of transparency notion both through surface aspect which could be said to decide on the appearance of the architecture shape and through, in physical aspects as a combination of space components comprising the inner space, spatial aspect to which architectural techniques of transparency notion are applied. Through these, we conclude as follows. 1. Representation Techniques of Transparency in Surface : Transparency from surface viewpoint could be categorized into 1) emphasis on property-of-matter, 2) lightness of Literal material itself, 3) visual ambivalence, and 4) dematerialized hyper-surface. 2. Representation Techniques of Transparency in Space : In spatial viewpoint, transparency is summarized into sub-viewpoints as 1) straightforward space 2) ambiguous spacer 3) expanded space
