This study investigates the mutual effects of the physical environment and the characteristics of user's need in the children's libraries of open plan type. The children's library as a flexible space should accept user's diverse needs. Especially, Children express more positive and diverse behaviors than adults in physical environment. As the design information obtained from observation of children's behaviors are put to architectural design, the more affluent environment in which children can do positive behaviors can be made. We used two research methods of the behavior observation and interview for the children's library, and could formulate various using actions through the behavior setting observation for using library. A relational description for reading environment in this study, based on the affordance and the behavior setting theories, provided us with rich accounts for the psychological and sociocultural resources in the children's library. Consequently, the following results can be summarized. First, children need territories for family use and for place and are using library effectively through taking the two territories. Second, the zoning according to age category should be done, as behavior patterns were observed differently according to age. Third, the space composition with openness should be designed, as children need social relation and learning through imitation and observation.

Modern society is indefinable and constantly changes like nature changes. It uses design to create new experiments and trend within social environment and culture. In the history of interior architecture and postmodernism, the Italian design movement of Archizoom, Studio Alchimia and Memphis are very important, and Andrea Branzi was the central figure of this design movement. His experimental and defiant works throughout this design movement produced design with combination, indefiniteness, sustentation, and reiteration. Designers must recreate themselves continually and need to have constant experimental spirit and attempts. From this point of view, the study on Andrea Branzi who led Italian design revolution with various experiments and attempts is valuable, and it will help to find the direction of design in this modern social and cultural environment.

There are the relevant provisions that apply to building regulations about the Building codes, Fire Protection laws, and more Multi-using interior finish materials businesses etc. The differences between these regulations are as follows: The Building codes is defined the main use of the building according to facilities to used to set the scale by the use of the floor space, On the other hand, Fire Protection laws are the basic purpose and the act of using the architectural space(or sales) by separating object by fire. And Multiple-using Businesses Facilities consist of two regulations engaged in the kind of law and the size of the floor area. One building can not be based on operating facilities and together in Multiple use businesses Law. As such, the Buildings are applied to the Building codes, Fire Protection laws, such as Multi-using Businesses Facilities interior construction industry due to the structural differences in the position of the designer feeling a lot of difficulties and confusion. The Multi-use businesses Facilities engage in the kind of law, the size of the floor area and seating capacity. These can not be based on operating facilities, and consists of two regulations together in one building. This study is purposed to help improving the finish of the interior architecture that is related to the Building code regulations, Fire Protection laws, Multi-using Facilities interior finishing material relevant with the provisions from the law through analyze the case of developed countries, and the current Multiple use Businesses Facilities research range from the law of multiple-using facilities, interior finishing, interior architecture for supervision reasonably and compensation for the interior design. So, Result is as follows: First, interior decorations can be separated the fixed material and the moveable things. second, It should be included multi-using Business though small size business space at the basement floor. third, It should be established statute law that design and construction responsibility. forth, re-testing fire resist performance after some period. and finally, it need to mitigate regulation where be installed sprinkler.

The co-operated residential form of the apartment has been with us for 30 years. The apartment is becoming the most popular form of residence, although there is still a few aspects of the apartment that need to be Improved. After the institution of the unrestrained house value in 1989 that started in Seoul, the main viewpoint of the suppliers the uniform characteristic idea has been adjusted to the various ideas and the viewpoint of the consumer. This has resulted in the prismatic composition of buildings, more stories, upgrading the quality of the design and a preference for wider space of the residence. In this study: (1) theplane surface of interior space and the design quality of the apartment from tile beginning of the 60s are considered. (2) The attribute of the apartment is grasped through analysis of the current (2002-2003) apartment within the country according to the various areas. The prediction of the future residential environment change is analyzed and as a consequence, the modification of the interior space is forecast and suggests the design trends of the apartment. I hope that this, investigation is helpful as it attempts to produce high quality residential space that reflects the harmony of technological development of the apartment and sentiment and emotion of the human being.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for better design of Pharmacy after introducing the new system of separation of dispensing from prescribing medicine. To analyze characteristics of interior design in pharmacy and to measure worker satisfaction, a survey was conducted with 255 workers who serve at any Pharmacies located in Busan, Korea. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, One-way ANOV A were performed with the SPSS Win program(Ver. 10.0). The major findings were as follows: 1) As a result of analyzing the role and functions of the pharmacist is to be classified into many items such as entrance, a waiting room, a dispensary, a medication & consultation area, a drug storage and a worker's room. 2) Natural substances should be used more widely instead of using chemical substances for the pharmacy interior design as finishing materials 3) Pharmacy worker's satisfaction with dispensary is specially low among the total satisfaction which is :slightly higher than the average. 4) The degree of satisfaction between pharmacy workers from different groups varied depending on work hours, and especially long time(over 10hrs) workers showed dissatisfaction. Pharmacy managers need to consider the option of expanding convenience facilities. 5) According to the satisfaction analysis for each pharmacy conditions, the group who worked in 30-pyeong spaces were most satisfied. Since the 30-pyeong space is most standardized space research should be conducted.

Recently the hospitals or clinics tend to get out of the functional and technological aspect so as to gradually emphasize service for patients. While qualitative rather than quantitative alteration is noticeable, the scale of clinics is getting larger. Especially, the opulence resulted from economic, social and cultural development has enabled more people to visit dermatology or plastic surgery besides treatment for disease. Responding to this tendency, dermatology is focusing on skin beauty, plastic operation, controlling obesity, etc. for women rather than ordinary treatment. Thus, dermatology is in need of space for skin control as well as ordinary treatment, which raises the immediate necessity of new plan for space and interior environment. In order to meet such necessity of dermatology, it is required to fully study and consider the plan for interior space. First, the purpose, scope and method of research will be defined in the introduction. Second, the concept of clinic as well at the characteristic of dermatology will be studied by theoretical investigation. Third, the general concept of dermatology will be analyzed by examining the characteristic of each room in dermatology, the moving line of nurses and patients, the color of dermatology and the design factor of finishing materials through general investigation on dermatology. Fourth, in order to look into the general case of dermatology, the object of examination will be selected for examination through literature and visiting. After examining data, the result will be analyzed and evaluated to prepare the ground for interior plan of dermatology.

최근 1인 가구 수의 급증으로 인해 셀프 인테리어에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 인테리어 중에서 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 것은 가구 배치이다. 그런데 간혹 적정한 위치에, 공간을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 위치에 가구를 배치하기 위해 전문가의 도움이 필요한 때가 있다는 것이 셀프 인테리어의 단점이다. 이런 상황에서 사람들은 개인 SNS를 통해 인테리어에 대한 정보를 공유하거나 조언을 주고받으며, 전문가에게 직접 도움을 받기도 한다. 하지만 이러한 방법들은 2D 사진이나 영상을 통해 공간을 보기 때문에 세밀하고 정확한 조언이 어렵거나, 전문가가 직접 방문을 해야만 하는 시간적, 물리적 번거로움이 있다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 가상현실 상에서 실시간으로 가구 배치를 공유할 수 있는 애플리케이션을 제안한다. 제안하는 애플리케이션을 통해 인테리어에 관한 정보와 조언을 더 생생하고 정확하게 공유할 수 있으며, 실시간으로 공유가 되기 때문에 두 사용자의 시간과 체력의 소비가 최소한으로 줄어들 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

Through the increasing of social economies and cultural activities, the Food service industry have been growing up steadily in spite of low economic activity. This is owing to increasing income, participation of women in public affairs and a dual-income family, automobile culture, desire for healthful food, shorten working hours, changing of cultural style. Moreover, the recent importance of Interior finishing materials by means of fire in the Restaurant, legal fractional multiple use business establishment are recognized of publicity. Therefore, This Study aim object at probing into the characteristic of Interior finishing material and then analysing the characteristics of space and material according to the typical distribution. In the Interior planning of Restaurant, firstly it is need to probe the Characteristics of interior finishing material at the basic element. This study is going to apprehend the constitution of space and difference of proportion or a point of sameness in the characteristics of material. Moreover, the recent importance of Interior finishing materials by means of fire in the Restaurant, legal fractional multiple use business establishment are recognized of publicity. Throughout probe and analysing, it can append more efficiency and elasticity in the usage of interior finishing material.

As remodeling market is growing and peoples' concern on health and well-being is getting high, there is a need to apply environmentally friendly approach to remodeling an interior space. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide basic information on environmentally friendly remodeling process focused on the implementation of interior construction process. The method of this study was two-folds. First, previous researches were reviewed to drive general remodeling process, and then content of implementation of environmentally friendly remodeling process were added. Second, semi-structured interview was conducted to eight experts in interior design who were members of KOSID. The results of this study are as follows; (1) Applying environmentally friendly method to remodeling will be essential. Therefore, it is necessary to develop various types of environmentally friendly finish materials and methods and continuing attention should be paid. (2) For broad implementing an environmentally friendly application on remodeling, builders, interior designers, manufacturers, and clients should change their consciousness through education and publicity, (3) The results showed that using environmentally friendly materials was the most primary concern for the designers. However, there is a lack of information about contamination derived from materials when manufacturing and constructing and even wastes. Thus designers should be aware of using environmentally friendly verified materials regarding materials itself and its manufacturing process.

Escalating rate of working women is increasing the necessity for day-care centers. Moreover, insufficient child-care system is known as one of many factors that relate to the seriously low birth-rate of our society. Therefore providing more adequate day-care centers can not be regarded as a mere personal necessity but a social need to be considered at corporate and governmental level. The current study analyzes 'Reggio-emilia teaching method' which is a type of early childhood educational program and its relationship to the built environment. It also examines current interior spaces of Reggio-emilia day-care centers and suggests designs for an day-care center appropriate for educating children in Korea.
