This research proposed a design direction for the ambulance interior storage space based on the placement and access to the equipment to facilitate an emergency medical practice taking into account the safety and efficiency by the emergency medical technician ergonomic factors. Therefore, through a field survey for the current derivation of the storage space problem 'placement', 'enable', 'management' like these three items resulting clarity, accessibility, simplicity and functionality of the four functional elements by targeting ambulances in operation in this country. First, there is a need to improve standardized of cabinet sizes fit to loaded meet emergency equipment standards. Currently, the equipment designed to use a simple storage cabinet has had problems in the usability. Second, it must be located in the continuous exposure in progress to the user's traffic line. Third, the problem was the insufficient function of the cabinet to ensure the safety of patients by paramedics from the emergency rescue equipment and due to the leaning of the ambulance driving. Besides, it was pointed out that in addition to the proposed alternatives, including the agenda, states that safety belt replacement equipment, emergency personnel and patients with the handle of a guardian for the efficient use storage space within the 119 ambulance. However, in the present study suggest that there is a state proceeds mainly limited usability in the field, having been installed.

Purpose: Signs that are installed at unnoticeable places or that disconnect before the destination can bring errors of location information delivery. Therefore, this study aims to find out the spatial relation between structure of space and signs in the perspective of visual exposure possibility, operating arrangement and assesment by applying spatial structure theory. Methods: Effectiveness of organization of guidance signs was evaluated after the four way-finding factors(Plan Configuration, Sign System, Perceptual Access, Architectural Difference) that G.D.Weisman suggested were interpreted by spatial structure theory(J-Graph analysis, Space Syntax, Visual Graph Analysis) under the premise that it is closely related to the structure of space. Results: 1) Because the south corridor that connects each department of outpatient division is located in the hierarchy center of the space, and walking density is expected to be high, guidance signs need to be organized at the place with high integration value. 2) The depth to the destination space can be estimated through J-Graph analysis. The depth means a switch of direction, and the guidance signs are needed according to the number. 3) According to visibility graph analysis, visual exposure can be different in the same hierarchy unit space according to the shape of the flat surface. Based on these data, location adjustment of signs is possible, and the improvement effect can be estimated quantitatively. Implications: Spatial structure theory can be utilized to design and evaluate sign systems, and it helps to clearly understand the improvement effect. It is desirable to specify design and estimation of sign systems in the order of J-Graph analysis${\rightarrow}$Space Syntax Theory${\rightarrow}$visibility graph analysis.

It is a conclusion that the Namdaemun jewelry market need to produced under the name of brand not by the traditional whole sale market style. Development unique jewelry brand requires a high-end commercial strategy of the logo, packaging and interior. The high-end quality require for the advanced designs as well as the study of new materials needed for the advanced materials.
The fast and competitive urbanization has accelerated unbalanced land utilization and housing, thereby producing large number of decaying areas and socially disadvantaged population, while generally promoted citizen's quality of life. Since rental housing policy, therefore, has emerged as a major important issue to solve these ever increasing problems, new concepts in leading examples need to be explored to stimulate creative ideas for future housing improvement. The purpose of this research is to extract successful factors of a leading rental housing 'Manhattan Plaza' in New York city, expecting useful implications for housing improvement in Korea. Field visit and in-depth interview for data collection and qualitative approach for analysis were carried out. As results, its successful sustainability and fame were found to be attributable to following concepts, such as, socially integrative mix of diverse residents, residents' participation in management, privacy respect administration, considerate planning and design features of physical environment. The latter, especially, were prominent in peripheral spaces, indoor and outdoor community spaces, and private spaces. Based on the results, suggestions were made for future Korean rental housing development.
The increase rate of total population slows down and the ratio of the elderly population & single-household in our country is growing rapidly. Korean's housing penetration has already exceeded 100%. So people focus on the qualitative aspects of housing, namely housing welfare than the quantitative supply of housing The purpose of the study proposes the desirable direction for housing welfare policy based on the housing welfare regulations. The data for the analysis was collected through the regulations of 8 cities and 9 provinces. So housing welfare contents like housing welfare business, housing welfare center, etc. were extracted from 4 Housing Welfare Support Regulations, 5 Housing Basic Regulations and 8 Housing Regulations. The results were as follows: To stabilize housing and improve housing, the contents of housing welfare contained in related ordinance are still insufficient. Continue to be effective and housing welfare work, it shall be presented in detail in the regulations with respect to the financing plan. To those who need the housing welfare will have to be built an effective delivery system that can be delivered in a timely manner. For housing welfare for the elderly, housing welfare business information is detailed and broken down, it should be codified.
The purpose of this study is to gain an in-depth understand of the dwelling needs of residents who are interested in Cohousing. To do this, we interviewed 18 urban residents who wanted a community life; investigated consciousness of neighbor relationships; and analyzed their consciousness of Cohousing residences, preference types, and spatial needs. At first the research has revealed that the neighbor relationships of the participants were not very close and that there was a difference in awareness levels between a 'good neighbor' and 'strange neighbor' with regard to neighbors, though all of the participants required a vitalization of these relationships. Second, Cohousing residence types could be divided into the 'life preferred type' and 'space preferred type', depending on the differences of pursued dwelling interests. These could be further segmented into the 'leisure life preferred type' and 'daily life preferred type', 'public space preferred type' and 'individual space preferred type'. Thirdly, preferences for Cohousing types varied depending on differences in priority with regard to important concepts of the social-physical environment (e.g., community property, effectiveness, naturalness, economic feasibility, and individuality). Finally, we found that the greatest needs were for public gardens and exercise space as aspects of the common spaces. Agreements pertaining to special use were considered as most important during the design process of the common spaces.

The purpose of this study was to clarify the distinct working areas of Certified Housing Environment Professional(CHEP) through the job analysis, to prepare the basic documentation required for a national official approval, and to provide the information of the curriculum organization for collegiate education on housing environment-related majors. Two previous reports, the qualifying system and performed in 2005 and 2009 by the qualification management committee under the Korean Housing Association, were foundation of this study. Two advisory council meetings were held, which are composed of 5 housing professionals and 11 professors working in housing environment-related departments. The results of the study were summarized as follows. The main jobs of CHEP were classified into six categories; the analysis, planning, service, residents' evaluation, social evaluation, and physical evaluation of the housing environment. CHEP can participate in the planning stage of architectural or interior design through the investigation of residents' perception and behaviors, and the analysis of socio-economic and life style trends. They also can play an important role in living supporting services of housing management area through the community program development, management and evaluation, which may bring about community vitalizations and social integrations. This study might need to finalize based on the affluent input of colleague.
The burial custom in the Youngsan river area was to build a jar-coffin and lay the body in state, however the methods in building and moulding the massive jar, as well as in which kiln it was made has not been examined precisely. Thus, this research not only investigates previous results related to the manufacturing methods of massive jar-coffins, but also examines samples that were excavated and collected. The clay used to produce jar-coffin consists a large portion of unglazed qualities, which was split-moulded from the bottom up to the mouth area. The interior was finished by applying water, whereas the exterior was decorated by regularly pasting or stamping in parallel with a lattice design. It can be presumed that the finished jar-coffin was not moved, but the ceiling and walls were built around it as a kiln, for the jar-coffin to be oxidized or to reduce the flame condition in a temperature approximately $700~1,200^{\circ}C$The results from the research, however, show limitations to exploit the exact manufacturing method, therefore there is a need for in-depth examinations: mineralogical investigation on a large amount of jar-coffin samples through a polarized light microscope; substance analysis using various equipments; speculation on the temperature in the place of production and the flame inside.
As aging is notably developed, the elderly find it challenging to get around in housing chosen in their midlife, and seek for an alternative residential setting enabling them to continue the independent living. This research focuses on the residential mobility of the elderly who have recently moved to senior housing, and also is to investigate their residential satisfaction at previous residence. As a cross-sectional study, the research adopts the self-administered questionnaire survey. The questionnaires are mailed out, and one out of the two responses is retrieved. To investigate the residential mobility of the elderly, the research model is constructed based upon Morris and Winter's Housing Adjustment Theory. The result shows that the residential mobility of elderly from previous residence is a need-based choice, want-driven behavior and demand-oriented decision to maintain continued independence and utilize resources available during the aging process. Also, it is found that the vast majority of both co-op and rental households are satisfied with their previous residential environment. The previous residential satisfaction of co-op elderly is significantly influenced by household and housing characteristics, housing norm status, and environmental needs for independent living while only housing norm status is a significant predictor to explain the previous residential satisfaction of rental elderly.
The construction of government-sponsored housing in Korea began in the early 1950s. Beyond fulfilling the housing shortage after the Korean War, it also impacted the development of housing in Korea. The aim of this study is to explore the construction and supply of government-sponsored housing and to discuss the positive and negative influences on the modern housing in Korea. In order to achieve the objectives, the pictures and floor plans, newspaper articles and the KNHC publications, which led the public housing supply from 1950 to 1960, were examined. Results indicate as follows: First, government-sponsored housing industrialized the housing production, which satisfied the volume need. The simplified floor plan and exterior, along with the western characteristics, created a new urban landscape. Second, the distinct characteristics of Korean housing were established. By emphasizing development and financial practicality, large scale housing complexes were built with simplified, characterless, and mechanical exteriors in a disconnected territory with neighbor district. Third, government-sponsored housing became the major accelerator to westernize the Korean housing culture. In conclusion, the principles of functionalism of government-sponsored housing have become the fundamental root of Korean housing since the war.
