  • MMI (Man Machine Interface) is the system that monitors the operating condition of the ATP/ATC/ATS systems and receives defined information from ATP/ATC/ATS systems through the interface with On-board systems. Based on the data from the ATP/ATC/ATS system, MMI can display the information and status of the train to secure safe operation. It is possible for the display mode and quantities of MMI to be improved by the customer's demand, and it can be designed as the same structure of existing devices for the driver. The ERTMS is Regular Safety Standards of high-speed railroad. It is fundamental structure of European Rail Control System which train control, safety and operate facilities. In this paper, I study requirements of ERTMS form which design function each section of MMI and application at ATP/ATC/ATS combined Train Constrol System.

  • In this paper force feedback control system is investigated for improving the quality of the haptic feedback in virtual reality applications. We suggested the method of controlling the haptic device and modelling the virtual environment. Haptic device is composed of five bar link structure, voice coil motor, control board, and virtual environment modeling program. We applied voice coil motor in the actuating system for simple structure and easy control. Virtual environment modelling is constructed in PC, and the control signals of the actuators and the encoder data are transferred to the control system through USB. Experiment is performed to evaluate the characteristics of the haptic device.

  • NUI is a motion interface. It uses the body of the user without the use of HID device such as a mouse and keyboard to control the device. In this paper, we use a Pi Camera and sensors connected to it with small embedded board Raspberry Pi. We are using the OpenCV algorithms optimized for image recognition and computer vision compared with traditional HID equipment and to implement a more human-friendly and intuitive interface NUI devices. comparison operation detects motion, it proposed a more advanced motion sensors and recognition systems fused connected to the Raspberry Pi.

  • The railway signaling system consists of micro-computerized vital devices on board and ground, which are connected to one another by track circuits, and interlocking equipment for route control. Therefore it is important to validate the required functions of developed system and interface between developed signaling systems. To verify the conditions and functions of signaling functions, the laboratory prototype test bench, which consists of personal computers LAN, will be developed. In this paper design of signaling system test-bench for high-speed signaling is described and developed software module are presented.

  • Product of technology developed in this study is an external interface for controlling the equipment of pendant key remote control system circuit board, and it is used in the electronic component test equipment system. Main control system module is in the role as a device for controlling the various control devices that make up the integrated system for microscopic examination at the request of the host computer engineers to control the inspection equipment. The pentane-key interface module to its role as a device for controlling the various control devices that make up the integrated system for microscopic examination at the request of the host computer for the engineer to control the inspection equipment. Development of the control system can be expected in the configuration of a system for efficient and accurate inspection of high-precision parts.

  • In this paper, an ATSC(Advanced Television Standard Committee)-M/H(Mobile/Handheld) multiplexer is designed and implemented using an embedded Linux based hardware platform. The ATSC-M/H multiplexer is composed of a CPU(Central Processor Unit), an FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array), ASI(Asynchronous Serial Interface)/SMPTE310(Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers310) interface board, and a GPS(Global Position System) clock processing block. The main functions of the ATSC-M/H multiplexer executed in the CPU and FPGA are described. The operation of the ATSC-M/H multiplexer is verified by processing its broadcast signal on a commercial receiver analyzer.

  • Workers are avoiding production/manufacturing sites due to the poor working environment and concern over safety. Small and medium-sized businesses introduce new equipment to secure safety in the production site or ensure effective process management by introducing the real-time monitoring technique for existing equipment. The importance of real-time monitoring of equipment and process in the production site can also be found in the ANSI/ISA-195 model. Note, however, that most production sites still use paper-based work slip as a process management technique. Data reliability may deteriorate because information on the present condition of the production site cannot be collected/analyzed properly due to manual data writing by the worker. This paper introduces the monitoring and process management technique based on a direct facility interface to secure safety in the field by improving the poor working environment and enhance there liability and real-time characteristics of the production data. Since the data is collected from equipment in real-time directly through the SIB-based interface and PLC-based interface, problems associated with workers' manual data input are expected to be solved; safety can also be improved by enhancing workers' attention to work by minimizing workers' injuries and disruption.

  • In the ACE2000 MPLS system, MPLS Interface Module(MIM) is composed of an ATM Interface Module and a HFMA performing a packet forwarding. In the MIM, the HFMA RSAR receive cells from the Physical layer and reassemble the cells. And the IP Lookup controller perform a packet forwarding after packet classification. Forwarded packet is segmented into cells in the HFMA TSAR and transfer to the ALMA for the transmission to an ATM cell switch. When the MIM make use of an ATM Interface Module, it directly connect the ALMA with a PHY layer using the UTOPIA Level2 interface. Then, an ALMA performs Master Mode. Also, the HFMA TSAR performs the Master Mode in the MIM. Therefore, the UTOPIA-L2 Controller of the Slave Mode require for interfacing between an ALMA and a HFHA TSAR. In this paper, we implement the architecture and cell control mechanism for the UTOPIA-L2 Controller supporting Multi-ports.

  • In this study, a DNC(Distributed Numerical Control) management system is designed that can directly control and manage hybrid CNC machine tools on real-time. And management software is developed to inter-communicate field informations with CNC controllers using an interface processor(Intelligent Multi Communication Board, IMCB). Especially, IMCB supports that DNC system sends and receives part program with CNC controllers in the form of real-time multi-tasking.

  • This paper implemented The LED illuminance control IP based on 8bit RISC Processor. 8bit RISC Processor designed hardware interrupts, an interface for serial communications, a timer system with compare-capture-reload resources and a watchdog timer. LED Array consists of Red, Green, Blue, White and Warm White. The illuminance control IP is used to LED Board control with 8bit data.
