In this study, the purpose of the research is to present a cooperative convergence education Capstone design operational model that can promote community relations by spreading excellent practices through governmental, academic, and civil cooperation, ultimately contributing to the development of systematic plans among cooperative groups for successful promotion, and the production high effects in the fashion sector. The case study presented a new model that combines convergence in interdisciplinary studies, focusing on the case study of the "Fashion Capstone Design" textbook. The characteristics of the proposed model suggested three types of convergence- the convergence of government, academia and private cooperation, and the convergence of academic and civil organizations, depending on their role. The proposed educational model has the advantage of complementing and dealing with the difficulties presented by interdisciplinary education. It also has the effect of activating community linkages with colleges in the community. In addition, the effectiveness of community colleges and community links can be optimized. Through the example of this study, we look forward to being used as a references for a variety of cooperative convergence education capstone design projects.
Shin Hong-Gyun and his family have been in medicine for many generations as Korean Medical Doctors (KMDs). In 1919 when Shin Hong-Gyun was participating in an independence movement in Jang-Baek-Hyun, his younger brother Shin Dong-Gyun was killed by Japanese military police forces. This tragic incident triggered Shin Hong-Gyun to establish an army for national independence called , holding 200 young men, to serve in armed struggle against the Japanese Government with Kim Jung-Geon in May, 1920. In March 1933, Shin Hong-Gyun, as a military surgeon, led his men to the Korean Independence Army to fight a battle. Once he became a member of the Korean Independence Army, he, in fact, participated in few battles: Sadohaja, Dong-Kyung-Sung, Deajeonjayeong. Daejeonjayeong was a waypoint that the Japanese military needed to pass through in order to reach the Wangcheong area. Shin Hong-Gyun's independence forces had to endure painful starvation and heavy rain while hiding in ambush for long periods of time until the Japanese military would appear. Due to its summer rainy season, rainwater overflowed into their trenches and was filled up to the waist. Even worse, food stockpiles were low and the Japanese army did not appear for longer time. Shin Hong-Gyun's entire team suffered severe hunger and extreme cold. At this critical moment, Shin Hong-Gyun used his expertise as a KMD to find edible black mushrooms that grow wild in the mountains and use them to feed his men. This event led to the victory of the independence army at the battle of Daejeonjayeong. The purpose of the paper is to inform and highlight the forgotten history of Shin Hong-Gyun who was, both, a Korean Medical Doctor and a military surgeon.

Entrepreneurship courses and programs in Korean universities tend to increase steadily but seem to have some limitations. They are usually recognized as another domain of Business Administration. Entrepreneurship program is practical like Business Administration but should be much more interdisciplinary than that. Because Korean Entrepreneurship programs are in the early stage, they must be reinforced with factors such as education culture, faculties, curriculum and relationships with communities. This study aims to get some implications from Entrepreneurship programs have been run by universities in America in order to facilitate Entrepreneurship program in Korean universities. Based on 11 success factors found by our case universities' Entrepreneurship programs and Kauffman Campus, this study has drawn implications of critical success factors of Entrepreneurship programs as follow. First of all, because Entrepreneurship programs should focus on Entrepreneurship mind sets such as innovative idea generation and courage to overcome risk, it is more desirable that Entrepreneurship programs are introduced in all departments of universities such as Arts, Science and Engineering. These programs also need to take interdisciplinary approach and required to be opened from liberal arts course. In order to be sustained during all their academic careers, vision, mission and strategy for Entrepreneurship programs should be based on strong leadership and support of top leaders. Entrepreneurship culture of each university is also one of the most important success factors. Entrepreneurship programs not only as major programs but also as specific Entrepreneurship minors designed for departments such as Arts, Science and Engineering could be considered according to each university's situation. This study also suggest to make a motivation system for Entrepreneurship faculties, Ph d. programs for Entrepreneurship, communication network for Entrepreneurship programs and mentor system in community. To begin Entrepreneurship programs, it also needs to develop good education contents as many as possible. When it concerned with teaching method, project based 4 year program can be suggested to be effective and efficient. To introduce project based program that should be consistent till participants' graduation, university must prepare regulations to support team teaching, mentor and interdisciplinary cooperation. To dissipate the concept that Entrepreneurship is another version of management, this study support the idea that Entrepreneurship programs should be designed and run by independent and central-focused governance system, Entrepreneurship education center.
The hospital is not the place for functional isolationalism, that is, for each department to do their own activities independently. Rather it is an organization in which each part is joined together and concentrating on the same objectives. The hospital must maintain a one-system-function, so that all the resources of the hospital may be used efficiently. Although we do not yet completely understand how the nursing image as perceived by the medical team and the other members of the interdisciplinary team affects nursing practice. It is important to identify how the client recognizes the nursing image as this will influence the growth of the nursing profession directly and indirectly. So we must reevaluate the nursing image as presented to the client and find the ways to present them with a better image of nursing. The study procedures were as follow; First, the image of nurses was analyzed. The subjects for this study were 270 nurses, 172 doctors, 237 hospital employees, and 240 patients and their families from 5 local branches of the Yonsei Medical Center. The four negative responses shown in this study are as follows; 1) Nurses don't listen to patients. 2) Nurses are self-centered. 3) Nurses and careless. 4) Nurses are mechanical. Second, the concrete causes of the four negative responses were analyzed. Third, the contribution of the nurses for clinical practice, research and education was analyzed. Data were collected by questionnaires all seps of the research. Data were analyzed by use of SPSS/PC. In conclusion, the image of nurses differed according to which group, the respondents belonged. Generally, the public have a positive image of nurses, but hospital employees have a negative images of nurses. Further the nurses gave themselves a low grade. They showed negative as to the value of their job, professionality and their contribution to clinical practice when it was compared to that of the doctors.

Ecosystem services (ES) are the benefits that people obtain from ecosystems. Traditional ES assessment methods have focused on the supply of ES, using biophysical data. However, these methods often fail to capture the full value of ES, which is also determined by social and cultural factors. This study proposes a new approach to ES assessment that incorporates socio-cultural perspectives. The study was conducted in Seoul, South Korea. A survey was conducted of 1,805 residents of Seoul to assess their satisfaction with ecosystem services. Exploratory factor analysis was used to identify bundles of ES that were perceived as important by residents. A revised importance-satisfaction analysis was used to calculate the urgency level of each bundle. The results of the study showed that the 21 ES that were considered in the survey could be grouped into three bundles: urban green area-based, biodiversity-based, and resilience-based. The urgency level analysis showed that some bundles were more important than others, and that some bundles were more urgent than others. The findings of this study have several implications. First, they suggest that a socio-cultural approach to ES assessment can provide a more comprehensive and accurate assessment of ES. Second, they show that this approach can be used to identify areas where ES management is most needed. Third, they suggest that this approach could be used to inform ES management and policy decisions.
Human exposure to nano-sized particles (NSP) has increased over the last century with anthropogenic sources, and the rapid development of nanotechnology becomes an another source of such exposure. Information regarding the safety of nanotechnology and its product, nanoparticles, is urgently needed when assuming exposure through inhalation, oral intake, and penetration across skin is ever increasing as growing nanotechnology rapidly. The recent advancement of biokinetic studies with NSP and newer epidemiologic and toxicologic studies with ultrafine particles can be the basis for the nanotoxicology. Some concepts of nanotoxicology can be known from the results of these results. Specific small size of NSP, when inhaled, facilitates deposition by difusional mechanism in all regions of the respiratory tract and uptake into cells, ranscytosis across epithelial and endothelial cells into the blood and lymph circulation to reach target sites. Translocation along axons and dendrites of neuron makes an access to CNS and ganglia. These biokinetics are dependent on NSP surface chemistry. Risk assessments of NSP include appropriate and relevant doses/concentration selections, the increase effects in the organism and the benefits of possible desirable effects. An interdisciplinary team approach is desirable for nanotoxicology research and an appropriate risk assessment.
The purpose of the study is to produce a mechanically improved weld and minimum variation of color through comparing unpulsed and pulsed GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) for pure titanium (CP grade7) tube. Pulsed GTAW using 60 A peak current and 20 A background current (1:9) achieved the wider window of welding conditions having part and full penetration without burn-through than the case of unpulsed GTAW. Moreover, the pulsed welding reduced a discoloration on the back bead of the weld and the size of microstructures (basket weave and serrated ${\alpha}$). That is because the pulsed welding has it's a low heat input and severe weld flow induced from electric current variation. Furthermore, the pulsed welding improved the bending property of the welded Ti tube. The enhanced bending property for the pulsed GTAW was due to the insignificant discoloration on the weld surface with maintaining the metal polish.

This paper proposes the battery charging algorithm for small-scale wind power generator using three phase PWM converter. it is impossible to control output power of the converter in over wind speed region since back EMF of PMSG is higer than battery voltage. Therefore, battery charging algorithm is proposed to expand battery charging over wind speed region. The suggested method is using the q-axis current for battery charging in the rated wind speed region. In the over wind speed region after it lower back EMF of PMSG using d-axis current it can control output power of the converter. The validity of the proposed algorithm are verified by experiments.
Among the gyroscopes used for SDINS, the dynamically turned gyroscope (DTG) covers a wide dynamic range while it is simple and small. In addition, it is a two-degree-of freedom gyro; it can detect two-axis input simultaneously. DTG, since its development in 1970's, is widely accepted for strapdown inertial systems. In the first year, we have concentrated on developing a two degree-of-freedom DIG. An interdisciplinary research team has been formed to accomplish the first year objective. Five departments in the College of Engineering, Seoul National University are involved. They are; 1) Department of Control and Instrumentation, 2) Department of Mechanical Design and Production, 3) Department of Electrical Engineering, 4) Department of Electronic Engineering, and 5) Department of Metallurgical Engineering. In addition, the Department of Precision Mechanical Engineering of Pusan National University is subcontracted to develop a test procedure for gyroscope and SDINS. Gyroscope is a key sensor for SDINS. Furthermore gyroscope itself is used as a. independent sensor for vehicle guidance and control and fire control system. Gyroscope and SDINS are an important for defense, aeronautical, and space industries that Korea is and will be actively involved. Upon the success of the project, they are expected to be manufactured in Korea under a cooperative effort between university and industry.
