Today, Internet is an everyone's tool for information searching and communication. Furthermore, with the wireless Internet, we can get connected while moving. The Internet, especially wireless Internet could be an excellent data Link for DGPS because of its interactive two-way communication capability and well-constructed network infra. The user with his own mobile communication device doesn't necessarily get equipped with the other specific data link for DGPS This paper will show that how the Internet based DGPS system could be constructed on the computer network in real time, Its performance is demonstrated by the field experiments. Comparing to the DGPS system with the conventional data Links, Like beacon and FM DARC, the Internet based DGPS could provide us a convenient and cost effect DGPS system.
Interactive media art can be said to be art in which audience participation and communication through interaction is considered to be most important Previously the role of the audience is to unilately accepted the artist's message, whereas the role of the audience observing interaction media has been changed to the point of the producer, actively participating in completing the artwork through interaction. This study analyzed the interaction and communication between the audience and interactive media artworks from the audience's point of view (in the view of reception theory) by the investigation of the case of the artworks that were on exhibition. Employing the exhibition interpretation medium with docent explanation and wall text was experienced how to improve audience's communication when they watched the artworks. The docent explained the intention of artists and their artworks in the manner of storytelling and induced the audience to focus naturally on the artworks. As the result, the role of the exhibition interpretation medium was found to be significantly high in enhancing the degree of emotional communication with the artworks, so in this study I attempted to present that the role of the docent is an important factor for enhancing the audience participation and emotional communication through interaction with the artworks.

This paper proposes a session key distribution scheme on non-interactive key distribution algorithm of Identity-based cryptography in V2I of VANET. In the current VANET, IEEE 802.11i is used to provide secure data communication between the vehicle and infrastructure. However, since the 4-way handshake procedure reply when the vehicle handover to another RSU/AP, IEEE 802.11i increases the communication overhead and latency. The proposed scheme using non-interactive key distribution algorithm of Identity-based cryptography provided session key generation and exchange without message exchange and reduced communication overhead and latency than the IEEE 802.11i.
This study investigates the interactive effects of guilt appeal level and empathic disposition (personal distress/empathic concern) on responses over the international relief messages. Guilt appeal level refers to the high or low degree of a message eliciting guilty feeling from the recipient. Empathic disposition is defined as personal tendency to assimilate and concern about the experience of others and we used two sub-dimensions, empathic concern and personal distress. The experiment was composed of two steps. At the first step, the participants rated the personal disposition measures and at the second step, they were shown one of the relief messages with different guilt level. Thus, the whole experiment was guilt appeal level ${\times}$ personal traits factorial design on guilty feeling, attitudes and behavioral intention. The results showed that guilt appeal level interacted with the personal distress disposition on the responses. The interaction was induced mainly from the differences of personal distress in the condition of high guilt appeal. High empathic concern individuals showed more favorable attitudes and behavioral intention regardless of the appeal conditions compared to low empathic concern individuals.

In this example, a message passing based multicomputer system with general interdonnedtion network is considered. After multicomputer systems are developed with morm-hole routing network, topologies of interconecting network are not major considertion for process management and resource sharing. Tehre is an independeent operating system kernel oneach node. It communicates with other kernels using message passingmechanism. Based on this architecture, the problem is how mech does performance degradation will occur in the case of processor sharing on multicomputer systems. Processor sharing between application programs is veryimprotant decision on system performance. In almost cases, application programs running on massively parallel computer systems are not so much user-interactive. Thus, the main performance index is system throughput. Each application program has various communication patterns. and the sharing of processors causes serious performance degradation in hte worst case such that one processor is shared by two processes and another processes are waiting the messages from those processes. As a result, considering this problem is improtant since it gives the reason whether the system allows processor sharingor not. Input data has many parameters in this simulation . It contains the number of threads per task , communication patterns between threads, data generation and also defects in random inupt data. Many parallel aplication programs has its specific communication patterns, and there are computation and communication phases. Therefore, this phase informatin cannot be obtained random input data. If we get trace data from some real applications. we can simulate the problem more realistic . On the other hand, simualtion results will be waseteful unless sufficient trace data with varisous communication patterns is gathered. In this project , random input data are used for simulation . Only controllable data are the number of threads of each task and mapping strategy. First, each task runs independently. After that , each task shres one and more processors with other tasks. As more processors are shared , there will be performance degradation . Form this degradation rate , we can know the overhead of processor sharing . Process scheduling policy can affects the results of simulation . For process scheduling, priority queue and FIFO queue are implemented to support round-robin scheduling and priority scheduling.
The most expensive spatial operation in spatial databases is a spatial join which computes a combined table of which tuple consists of two tuples of the two tables satisfying a spatial predicate. Although the execution time of sequential processing of a spatial join has been so far considerably improved, the response time is not tolerable because of not meeting the requirements of interactive users. It is usually appropriate to use parallel processing to improve the performance of spatial join processing. However, as the number of processors increases, the efficiency of each processor decreases rapidly because of the disk bottleneck and the overhead of message passing. This paper proposes the method of task allocation to soften the disk bottleneck caused by accessing the shared disk at the same time, and to minimize message passing among processors. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed method in terms of the number of disk accesses and message passing, we conduct experiments on the two kinds of parallel spatial join algorithms. The experimental tests on the MIMD parallel machine with shared disks show that the proposed semi-dynamic task allocation method outperforms the static and dynamic task allocation methods.
The terrestrial-digital multimedia broadcasting(T-DMB) is now provided for the public service and the number of receivers reaches 15 million at the present of August 2008. The service of T-DMB itself has been succeeded in the presence. It is however remained as a supplementary role of stationed TV. It is necessary to find an additional business model as a new media to acquire surplus escaping from the deficit of the present T-DMB service. In the present paper, data service of T-DMB is proposed as candidate of such solution. Especially, TTI(Traffic and Travel Information) service is proposed as a killer application using TPEG(Transport Protocol Experts Group). At present, TPEG has not been so popular in the sense of various user satisfaction. Thus the variety of service including bi-directional service using DMB2.0 as in the sphere of Web2.0 is necessary for the service providers. In the paper, the restriction of TPEG-POI(Point of Interest) application service using the conventional mobile communication infrastructure is indicated. To overcome such restriction, TPEG-UCM(User Created Message) application service model using individual bi-directional media which is initiated and interacting by the users is proposed. In the experiment, the application program shows the usability of the proposed method so that the implementation results show its operability.

Since many man-made systems consist of autonomous and interactive components, it is intrinsically difficult to analyze their abnormal behavior. The logical analysis of such a system is an indispensable process for high quality and reliable system development. In this paper, we propose an analysis method using two algebraic operations, named composition and minimization. Repetitive composition and minimization of component models with respect to a set of important events produces a new analysis model that has the same input output responses to an environment. An analysis example of the alternating bit protocol demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method showing that each message generated at the sender side eventually arrives to a receiver.

Cyber school community appears to have essentially emerged from the needs for interactive communication, which would not be easy in normal school environments. Message board, chatting rooms and e-mails allow students to connect with each others, share news, find ways to help study, or post personal stories. The purpose of this paper is to give a set of guidelines, based upon the direct observations and questionnaire analysis, for utilizing the cyber school community of elementary school children. The following conclusions are provided; the appropriate ate goal needs to be set before the cyber school community is to be developed; the balance between the off-line and on-line interaction needs to be maintained; actions for motivating students to participate in the cyber community need to be taken by teachers.
The negative memories which come from tragic events such as war, terror or various conflicts in modern cities have been threatening the mental health of city-dwellers. This thesis focuses on 'healing public space' that will help recover the life of city-dwellers who sustain various trauma. For this, the author investigated the significant memorial space through 1980-2010 from site visits, interviews, and related theses and books and then extracted necessary information from each period. This thesis aims to find the changes of the memorial concepts and visitor's reaction for last 30years. 1)1980-: Healing concept and visitor's positive response 2)1990-: Healing by emotional experience approaches to the memorial museum such as narrative approach, exhibition media using 5senses, interactive display and preserving trace, 3)early 2000-: Healing by architectural experience 4)2002-: present: Healing projects by various programs. Steady advances in memorial design for healing trauma are due to the efforts for emotional design approach to eeply move the visitors and the efforts have to be continued. The study emphasize the importance of attracting eople by experimental, emotional design contents not just by aesthetic and functional public design ideas.
