Objective: This paper focuses on the new trend of applying NUI(natural user interface) such as gesture interaction into television and investigates on the design improvement needed in application. The intention is to find better design direction of NUI on television context, which will contribute to making new features and behavioral changes occurring in next-generation television more practically usable and meaningful use experience elements. Background: Traditional television is rapidly evolving into next-generation television thanks to the influence of "smartness" from mobile domain. A number of new features and behavioral changes occurred from such evolution are on their way to be characterized as the new experience elements of next-generation television. Method: A series of expert review by television UX professionals based on AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) was conducted to check on the "relative appropriateness" of applying gesture interaction to a number of selected television user experience scenarios. Conclusion: It is critical not to indiscriminately apply new interaction techniques like gesture into television. It may be effective in demonstrating new technology but generally results in poor user experience. It is imperative to conduct consistent validation of its practical appropriateness in real context. Application: The research will be helpful in applying gesture interaction in next-generation television to bring optimal user experience in.

The present study aims to identify the factors that affect the continuous use and discontinuance of the hospital information seeking applications(hospital apps thereafter) by employing the post acceptance model. The surveys were conducted with people who used the hospital apps from October 11 to 18, 2019. Researchers collected 125 valid data and analyzed them by using the structural equation model. The study found that the satisfaction and confirmation of expectation for the hospital apps users had significant effects on intention for continuous use and perceived usefulness, respectively. However, the perceived usefulness did not have a significant effect on the intention for continue use. The present study has identified the variables that influence the continuous use of these innovative technologies. The findings of the study confirmed the post acceptance model by observing the adoption and use of the hospital apps and extended the literature of the post acceptance model by discussing the unique characteristics of the hospital apps that satisfy the urgent help-seekers under emergency situations or the information needs emphasizing promptness. In addition, based on the benefits and limitations of hospital apps reported by consumers, the study provided practical implications for designing more user-friendly apps to hospital app developers or managers.
In advanced mobile devices environment, the market share of mobile application has been increased. Among various mobile services, Location-based Service (LBS) is an important feature to increase user motivation related to purchase intention on mobile. However, individual privacy has also increased as an important problem for invasion of privacy and information leakage while too many LBS based applications (App) rapidly launched in the App market. In this study, we focused on perceived values of LBS App users who use Apps related to recommending best restaurants in China and South Korea. The purpose of this study is to identify important factors for perceived value when users provide personal information for LBS service provider. The result of this study is follows: perceived value can increase while LBS customers can more control self-information and information useability. Also information ability of users affected perceived values for LBS Apps. Also users' app user ability and perceived value were effects on privacy revenue. In addtion, perceived weakness of users and perceived value increased privacy threat.
In the real estate industry, the latest changes in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as big data analytics, machine learning, and VR (virtual reality), combine to bring about industry change. Proptech is a new term combining properties and technology. This study aims to derive and analyze from a comprehensive perspective the quality factors (systems, services, interfaces, information) for mobile real estate brokerage services that are well known and used in the domestic market. The surveys in this study were conducted online and offline and a total of 161 samples were used for statistical analysis. As a result, all hypotheses were approved to except system quality and service quality. The results show that the domestic proptech companies who are mostly focused on real estate brokerage services, peer-to-peer lending, advertising platforms and apartments need to grow in various fields of proptech business of other countries including Europe, USA and China.

Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) provides an interactive and personalized service for realizing integrated broadcasting and telecommunication services. Set-top box (SIB) connected to TV is an essential component required for IPTV and has a unique hardware identifier used in identification and authentication. It means that subscriber authentication based on box-level identification is inconsistent with IPTV's main intention of providing personalized services. The proposed solution is to provide an opportunity to use the flexible user-centric authentication mechanism through Java Card applets in IPTV application server and 3G networks. This paper suggests personalized services by moving the user's private data and authentication management beyond the STB to a truly personalized device, the ubiquitous mobile phone. In addition, this paper presents effectiveness and security analysis for verifying the proposal.
Objectives: This study aimed to develop evaluation criteria for the elementary-school-based health promotion program using the RE-AIM framework and to examine their feasibility. Methods: Previous evaluation studies on health interventions for elementary-school students using the RE-AIM framework were reviewed systematically to identify appropriate evaluation criteria. A diet and physical activity intervention based on the transtheoretical model was implemented in a pilot study using the "Happy Me" application. The feasibility of using the RE-AIM framework to evaluate it was examined. Results: The review yielded the following evaluation criteria: "reach," the ratio of participants out of the total target population; "efficacy/effectiveness," the difference in outcomes between the intervention and control groups, or between a pre- and post-test; "adoption," the rate of use of the program and participation in the next stage of the program; "implementation," the progress on the program components; "maintenance," the participants' and teachers' intention to continue using the program. The pilot study reached 76.6% of the targeted population. The intake of sugar-sweetened beverages decreased (P < 0.0001), and the duration of walking increased (P < 0.0001). Other indicators could not be evaluated; therefore, potential indicators were suggested. Conclusions: This study produced feasible evaluation criteria for elementary-school-based health promotion using the RE-AIM framework. Nevertheless, the feasibility needs to be validated with a broader range of studies and long-term interventions.
The pandemic age came to us after the COVID19 broke out in the early of 2020, which resulted in many changes in our everyday life. One of the changes is non-contact transactions in economic activities, especially contact-free financial transactions are ever-increasing activities in the pandemic age. In non-contact financial transactions, security and trust are important issues that users are concerned about the most. So the paper examines how security and trust have effects on the attitudes of bank customers who use mobile banking applications on their smartphones. The study conducted factor ananlysis to extract research constructs using survey data gathered during Nobember of 2020 through February of 2021 across the nation. After extracting the constructs, the study checked validity, sampling adequacy, and internal reliability with KMO, Bartlett's test, and Crombach Alpha respectively. To make sure the purpose of the study, I do regression analysis. All factors of attitude had impacts on willingness on both of transactions and purchasing financial products. The results could give guidelines banks which want to attract more customers in open-banking environment through ever-more secure and trusty mobile banking application.
Recently, the proliferation of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet personal computers and the development of information communication technologies (ICT) have led to a big trend of a shift from single-channel shopping to multi-channel shopping. With the emergence of a "smart" group of consumers who want to shop in more reasonable and convenient ways, the boundaries apparently dividing online and offline shopping have collapsed and blurred more than ever before. Thus, there is now fierce competition between online and offline channels. Ever since the emergence of online shopping, a major type of multi-channel shopping has been "showrooming," where consumers visit offline stores to examine products before buying them online. However, because of the growing use of smart devices and the counterattack of offline retailers represented by omni-channel marketing strategies, one of the latest huge trends of shopping is "webrooming," where consumers visit online stores to examine products before buying them offline. This has become a threat to online retailers. In this situation, although it is very important to examine the influencing factors for switching from online shopping to webrooming, most prior studies have mainly focused on a single- or multi-channel shopping pattern. Therefore, this study thoroughly investigated the influencing factors on customers switching from online shopping to webrooming in terms of both the "search" and "purchase" processes through the application of a push-pull-mooring (PPM) framework. In order to test the research model, 280 individual samples were gathered from undergraduate and graduate students who had actual experience with webrooming. The results of the structural equation model (SEM) test revealed that the "pull" effect is strongest on the webrooming intention rather than the "push" or "mooring" effects. This proves a significant relationship between "attractiveness of webrooming" and "webrooming intention." In addition, the results showed that both the "perceived risk of online search" and "perceived risk of online purchase" significantly affect "distrust of online shopping." Similarly, both "perceived benefit of multi-channel search" and "perceived benefit of offline purchase" were found to have significant effects on "attractiveness of webrooming" were also found. Furthermore, the results indicated that "online purchase habit" is the only influencing factor that leads to "online shopping lock-in." The theoretical implications of the study are as follows. First, by examining the multi-channel shopping phenomenon from the perspective of "shopping switching" from online shopping to webrooming, this study complements the limits of the "channel switching" perspective, represented by multi-channel freeriding studies that merely focused on customers' channel switching behaviors from one to another. While extant studies with a channel switching perspective have focused on only one type of multi-channel shopping, where consumers just move from one particular channel to different channels, a study with a shopping switching perspective has the advantage of comprehensively investigating how consumers choose and navigate among diverse types of single- or multi-channel shopping alternatives. In this study, only limited shopping switching behavior from online shopping to webrooming was examined; however, the results should explain various phenomena in a more comprehensive manner from the perspective of shopping switching. Second, this study extends the scope of application of the push-pull-mooring framework, which is quite commonly used in marketing research to explain consumers' product switching behaviors. Through the application of this framework, it is hoped that more diverse shopping switching behaviors can be examined in future research. This study can serve a stepping stone for future studies. One of the most important practical implications of the study is that it may help single- and multi-channel retailers develop more specific customer strategies by revealing the influencing factors of webrooming intention from online shopping. For example, online single-channel retailers can ease the distrust of online shopping to prevent consumers from churning by reducing the perceived risk in terms of online search and purchase. On the other hand, offline retailers can develop specific strategies to increase the attractiveness of webrooming by letting customers perceive the benefits of multi-channel search or offline purchase. Although this study focused only on customers switching from online shopping to webrooming, the results can be expanded to various types of shopping switching behaviors embedded in single- and multi-channel shopping environments, such as showrooming and mobile shopping.
Financial technology (FinTech) is an emerging financial service sector include innovations in financial literacy and investment, retail banking, education, and crypto-currencies like bitcoin. One of the crucial branch of financial technology-third-party payment (TPP) is undergoing rapid growth, with online/mobile systems replacing offline financial systems. System quality and user attitudes are key perceptions driving third-party payment usage, the importance of these perceptions, however, may be different with countries as users' thinking varies from country to country. Thus, the purpose of this study is to elaborate how factors differ from China to Korea by drawing on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT2). Additionally, this study also aims to propose a multi-attribute evaluation of the third-party online payment system based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP), fuzzy sets and technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), to examine the relative importance of the perceptions influencing new technology adoption intention. The results showed that the price value has the most significant influence on Chinese perceptions, while the perceived credibility has the most significant effect on Korean perceptions. Sub-criteria also performs different results to Chinese and Korean third-party online payment system.

The development of ICT is spreading various contents to enhance health care and management efficiency through convergence between mobile and healthcare, but it indicates consumer acceptance and imbalance of mobile healthcare, and there is a lack of empirical research on functions and acceptability required according to consumer behavior and characteristics. This study sought to understand whether users were aware of and how to address the risks associated with smartphone use, and to conduct research on the acceptability and function and price of healthcare applications. For the purpose of the study, the data prepared in depth 1:1 survey for those who participated in and attended the 'BIO 2018 in Boston' exhibition was used for the actual analysis. The collected sample data included frequency analysis, technical statistical analysis, speech only correlation, chi square test, one-way analysis, and accuracy test. As a result, the more you realize the wrong attitude, the higher the awareness of risk and willingness to take action to solve problems. Second, it is necessary to increase satisfaction with the functions of healthcare apps, as well as to utilize health care and healthcare apps. Third, focus should be placed on systems or functional implementations centered on user behavior changes. Fourth, it is necessary to develop services that can enhance visual motivation. This study is meaningful in that it identifies a variety of consumer characteristics and provides directions for development of functions, and can be used as a basis for providing efficient healthcare applications in the future.
