Structural Relationship among Consumer Attitude, Usage Motive, Health-consciousness, Satisfaction, and Revisit Intent Pursuant to Foodservice Nutrition Information Labeling System (외식업체 영양정보표시에 따른 소비자태도, 이용동기, 건강관심도, 만족도, 재방문의도와의 구조적 관계)

  • The necessity of selecting food based on correct information through nutrition ingredients included in the food is being emphasized due to the recent increase in interest of restaurant users in healthy and safe food. This study verified the structural causal relationship among consumer attitude, use reason and health-consciousness regarding nutrition information labeling and their satisfaction and revisit intent. A total of 266 surveys conducted over restaurant users residing in the Busan area was used for the final analysis of the study to attain this study's objective. The suitability of the Structural Equation Modeling and organic causation relationship was verified through the statistics programs SPSS (V 23.0) and AMOS (V 21.0) in order to attain this study's objective, and the control effect of age has been verified. The results showed that a meaningful causal relationship was confirmed in all elements excluding consumer attitude. A control effect was also confirmed in the influential relationship between use reason and satisfaction level. The results of the study suggested that the nutrition information labeling system of restaurants provides practical implications and marketing strategies for restaurant managers and government policy makers.

A Comparative Study of Consumers and Providers on Nursing Service Quality, Satisfaction, and Hospital Revisiting Intent (간호서비스 질, 만족 및 병원 재이용 의도에 관한 소비자와 제공자간의 지각차이 비교)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to compare the nursing service quality, gap, overall nursing service satisfaction, overall medical service satisfaction and intent to revisit the hospital perceived by consumers and providers. Methods: Data were collected with self-administered questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, %, mean, standard deviation, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Result: Nursing service gap perceived by consumers was smaller than that of providers. Consumer's overall satisfaction with nursing and medical service was higher than that of nurses. In consumers, nursing service satisfaction alone accounted for 62.9% of the variance in their intent to revisit the hospital, while explained 3% of the variance in providers. Conclusion: There are definitely perception gap between consumers and providers. Therefore nursing and hospital managers must recognize it, and carry out the internal marketing strategies for nurses.

The Influence of Shop Crowdedness in Dining Franchise Liquor Shops upon the Perceived Values and Intent to Revisit (외식 프랜차이즈 주류 매장의 점포 혼잡성이 이용자의 지각된 가치와 재방문의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the crowdedness of dining franchise liquor shops on the perceived values and revisit intention. For this purpose, 361 customers who had visited dining franchise liquor shops located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do areas were surveyed, and data was analyzed using AMOS 23.0 and SPSS 23.0 statistics programs. The analyses yielded the following findings. First, a higher level of crowdedness in the shop turned out to lower the perceived value of users. Second, a higher level of perceived value resulted in a higher level of revisit intent. Third, the analysis on the mediating effect of the perceived value showed that, in the relationship between the human crowdedness and revisit intention, both practical and hedonic values had mediating effects. However, in the relationship between the spatial crowdedness and the intent of revisit, the practical value had a mediating effect, while hedonic value did not exhibit such an effect. This study is meaningful in that it is presented as a theoretical establishment and an empirical study on dining franchise liquor shops.

Study on the Effect of Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Revisit Intent in the Urban Railway (도시철도의 서비스품질이 고객만족도와 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation and the causal relation between the service quality, customer satisfaction and revisit intent of an urban railway. A structural equation model(SEM) was developed and analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The results showed that it satisfies the fitness of the model mostly: the reliability, convenience, safety of the service quality have a significant positive impact on the customer satisfaction (p<.05) and the tangibles(-.187) and responsiveness(-.103) have no impact on the customer satisfaction (p>.05.). The customer satisfaction has a significant positive impact on revisit intention (p<.001). The factors affecting the service quality and customers' satisfaction were found to be ranked as the order of reliability, convenience, safety, responsiveness, tangibility based on the high priority. The findings of this study will contribute to provide a practical tool to establish a mid-long term management plan and management strategies for boosting the customer satisfaction and creating revenue through the customized service of urban railway operating industry suffering chronic deficit.

A Study on the Factors Affecting the Intention to Revisit Jewelry Stores

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence the revisit of jewelry stores. The purpose od this study is to find specific factors that affect product and store satisfaction. The theoretical studies on product quality, perceived quality guarantee, product design, product price, sales promotion, product diversity, store area, store re-visit intent were reviewed. Based on this background, research hypotheses were established. A total of 80 questionnaires were distributed to verify the hypothesis of the study, and 64 were finally used for the analysis. SPSS 24.0 was used for hypothesis verification. The results of this study showed that product quality, perceived product guarantee, product design, and product price had positive influence on product satisfaction. On the other hand, sales promotion, product diversity and store interior were found to have positive influence on store satisfaction. Furthermore, product and store satisfaction were found to have a positive and significant effect on revisit Jewelry Stores.

Effect of the Consumer's Perception of the University Foodservice Quality on the Consumer Attitude (대학교 급식소의 급식서비스 품질에 대한 인식이 소비자태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the consumer's perception of the subject to manage the foodservice operation in the university, and to analyze the effects of consumer's perception of the university foodservice qualify on intent to revisit and intent to recommend. The questionnaires were distributed to 575 students in the K University located in Masan, who were sampled by proportionate stratified sampling method. The surveys were peformed from May 17 to June 2, 2005. The 566 questionnaires were responded, and 6 unusable questionnaires were excluded, then 560 were used for the final analysis (response rate: 97.4%). For the statistical analysis, SPSS (12.0) was used to conduct the descriptive analysis, factor analysis reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: First 254 respondants (47.3%) did not know that their foodservice operation was managed by contract foodservice company, and 374 students (66.8%) did not know the name of the contract foodservice company which runned their foodservice operation. Second, the food factor of university foodservice quality had a significant positive effect on intent to revisit (P<0.001), and the food factor of university foodservice quality also had a significant positive effect on Intent to recommend (p<0.001). It was concluded that as the food factor of university foodservice qualify Increased, the intent to revisit and the intent to recommend the university foodservice increased. So when university foodservice managers plan the foodservice operation strategy, they should focus on increasing the perception of customers' foodservice quality and also advertising contract foodservice company's brand name.

A Study on the Importance and Satisfaction for the Menu Quality of Japanese Restaurant (일식레스토랑 메뉴품질에 대한 중요도와 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • This study aimed to analyze the impact of importance and fulfillment(satisfaction) factors of menu quality on customers' intent of revisit of Japanese restaurants, so that it could provide information helpful to build up detailed marketing strategy and present considerations for management's higher sales amount and more efficient business results as well. Importance on menu quality scored higher level than fulfillment on the whole in Japanese restaurants. Notably, in regard to attributes of menu quality, it was found that respondents put higher stress on flavor, nutrition, cleanliness and freshness than anything else. In terms of IPA analysis on Japanese cuisine menu quality, it was noteworthy that the items with high importance but low fulfillment included menu price as an attribute for menu quality, although it was not shown in menu-specific items. In the survey on the associations between fulfillment(customer satisfaction) and intent of revisit, it was found that factors of customer satisfaction included 'trimness of dishes', 'information', 'appropriateness' and 'economic affordable' Out of these factors, it was noted that both 'trimness' and 'economic affordable' had significant effects on customer satisfaction at the significance level ranging from p<0.05 to p<0.001.

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of various restaurant choice attributes on customer satisfaction that has positive influence on repatronage and word of mouth intent. This study examined relevant literatures, set up some hypotheses to solve main questionable considerations and made a corresponding empirical analysis. For the empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was applied to total 478 customers who had visited restaurants around the northern part of Gyeong-gi province. The model was tested using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0 with 472 samples which received a 99% usable response rate. The results of empirical analysis were as follows: 1) menu quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction and word of mouth intent. 2) service quality and convenience have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. 3) customer satisfaction has a significant effect on repatronage and word of mouth intent. 4) word of mouth intent has a significant effect on repatronage intent.

  • The makeup experience service in a theme park was analyzed for the study on the makeup service using experiential marketing based on recent consumer experience. The results of the study showed that the utilization, marketing effect, and lifestyle in makeup service at the Experiential marketing are analyzed. In other words, according to the variables, the purpose of this study is to the effect on the satisfaction, loyalty, and Intent to revisit. In this study, in order to achieve this, literature research and Empirical study on the same time. In literature review, Theories and previous studies were considered which are about experience marketing, lifestyle, makeup service, loyalty, satisfaction, and the intent to revisit. Then, a research model and a hypothesis were established. In empirical study, Based on this, it was applied to the makeup service in a theme park and verified through analysis methods such as frequency analysis, reliability verification, factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The results showed that experience marketing and lifestyle had a significant influence on satisfaction, loyalty, and return visit intention. Based on this research, the makeup service using experience marketing would be hopefully more practical as a typical culture content marketing.

A Study on the Influencing Factors of Intention of Revisit in Fast Food Restaurant Visitors (패스트푸드 레스토랑 이용객의 재방문 의도 영향 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to examine how the factors influence each other by determining the appropriate measurement standard in fast food restaurants based on the evaluation of attributes, perceived pricing, value, satisfaction and intention of revisit, and present an effective marketing strategy for fast food restaurants based on the analytical results by patrons and market segmentations. The study surveyed 195 subjects and processed the result using SPSS for Win. V. 12.0. For statistical analysis, Frequency, Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, and Regression Analysis were put into operation. As a result of the Factor Analysis of the evaluation of attributes, 3 factors have been extracted. The results showed that restaurant attribution evaluation had a positive effect on the perceived value($R^2adj=0.357$, p=0.000), satisfaction($R^2adj=0.346$, p=0.000) and intent of revisiting($R^2adj=0.389$, p=0.000); perceived pricing had a positive affect on the perceived value($R^2adj=0.464$, p=0.000), satisfaction($R^2adj=0.113$, p=0.000) and intention of revisit($R^2adj=0.276$, p=0.000); perceived value had a positive affect on satis-faction($R^2adj=0.327$, p=0.000) and intention of revisit($R^2adj=0.515$, p=0.000); and satisfaction had a positive affect on intention of revisit($R^2adj=0.442$, p=0.000).
