  • 본 논문에서는 가전기기의 전력소비 정보를 이용하여 가전기기별 특성을 추출하고 이를 이용하여 데이터베이스의 자동 구축 및 구축된 데이터베이스로부터 입력되는 특성 정보에 해당하는 가전기기를 식별할 수 있는 알고리즘을 설계하고 구현하였다. 이를 위해 가정환경에서 사용하는 가전기기들의 소비전력 상태 감시 및 전원 제어가 가능한 기존에 설계된 시스템서버에 별도의 라이브러리를 구현하여 추가하였다. 구현된 최종 시스템은 가전기기의 소비전력을 측정하고 무선 네트워크를 이용하여 서버에게 실시간으로 데이터를 전송하는 클라이언트와 서버로 구성이 되며, 실험을 통해 특정 클라이언트에 연결된 특정 가전기기를 자동으로 식별하는 것이 가능한 것을 검증하였다.

Indoor Surveillance Camera based Human Centric Lighting Control for Smart Building Lighting Management

  • The human centric lighting (HCL) control is a major focus point of the smart lighting system design to provide energy efficient and people mood rhythmic motivation lighting in smart buildings. This paper proposes the HCL control using indoor surveillance camera to improve the human motivation and well-beings in the indoor environments like residential and industrial buildings. In this proposed approach, the indoor surveillance camera video streams are used to predict the day lights and occupancy, occupancy specific emotional features predictions using the advanced computer vision techniques, and this human centric features are transmitted to the smart building light management system. The smart building light management system connected with internet of things (IoT) featured lighting devices and controls the light illumination of the objective human specific lighting devices. The proposed concept experimental model implemented using RGB LED lighting devices connected with IoT features open-source controller in the network along with networked video surveillance solution. The experiment results are verified with custom made automatic lighting control demon application integrated with OpenCV framework based computer vision methods to predict the human centric features and based on the estimated features the lighting illumination level and colors are controlled automatically. The experiment results received from the demon system are analyzed and used for the real-time development of a lighting system control strategy.

  • The functions and uses of existing buildings are not properly changing as modern life needs. As a result, the frequent reconstruction(construction after removal) of existing buildings have been done but it became more and more difficult because of strengthening of regulations and systems concerning construction. And also it has several disadvantages like lower plot ratio and site coverage than existed buildings, enormous construction cost, production of waste-construction materials and thoughtless consumption of natural resources, which gives rise to environmental pollution. Therefore renovation is brought to the fore. In Korea, many business buildings were constructed in 1960s-1970s, during the period of high growth. Such buildings needs to be repaired in whole. It is caused by the change of social, economic, and cultural conditions and deterioration of equipments. Therefore renovation meets some necessary conditions; recovery of building functions and extension of building life span. In case study, the present state of renovation in business buildings is 1) Basic safety, for example, fire prevention and crime prevention, is great important. 2) Advanced technology, INS(international news service), IBS(Intelligent Building System), and internationalization, is pursued for adapting to multimedia ages. 3) It tries to promote proficiency, and to save the energy using spatial environment and natural energy(light and sound). Also, improving comfortable level of users and installing equipments for physically handicapped person needs to be considered.

Information-based Smart Construction Management of High Rise Building Under the Complex Surrounding Environment in City Core Area

  • With the development of urbanization, the increasing of buildings density in urban core areas result in the complexity of construction environment. High-rise landmark building is always preferred in the construction of urban core areas. Super high-rise buildings construction are facing construction management difficulties due to the complex working conditions and enormous building system, especially with the complex surrounding environment of the urban core area, the construction management of super high-rise buildings in the area requires higher, refined and detailed standard. Based on a super high-rise project in a core area of Shanghai which has 370 m building height and 772,643 m2 building area, with complex surrounding environment, narrow construction site and many super-high-altitude crossing works. With the application of BIM technology, the Internet of Things, the LAN communication and other various intelligent mechanical equipment, information management systems, the efficiency and refinement of construction management are improved, ensuring the smooth implementation of the project while effectively controlling the impact on the surrounding environment.

  • 이 논문은 유도전동기 원격제어를 위한 분산 임베디드시스템에 관한 연구로 제어시스템은 CAN통신을 기반으로 하는 네트워크를 구성하였으며 원격제어를 위하여 Ethernet TCP/IP-CAN 게이트웨이를 개발하였다. 이를 통하여 유도전동기 2대의 구동시스템을 제작하여 원격제어실험을 수행하였으며 실험 결과 개발된 알고리즘 및 TCP/IP-CAN 게이트웨이가 매우 우수한 성능을 가지고 있음을 확인하였다.

A Review on the Usage of RTKLIB for Precise Navigation of Unmanned Vehicles

  • Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) is a phase-based differential GNSS technique and uses additional observations from permanent reference stations to mitigate or eliminate effects like atmospheric delays or satellite clocks and orbit errors. In particular, as the position accuracy required in the fields of autonomous vehicles and drones is gradually increasing, the demand for RTK-based precise navigation that can provide cm-level position is increasing. Recently, with the rapid growth of the open-source software market, the use of open-source software for building navigation system of unmanned vehicles, which is difficult to mount an expensive GNSS receivers, is gradually increasing. RTKLIB is an open-source software package that can perform RTK positioning and is widely used for research and education purposes. However, since the performance and stability of RTK algorithm of RTKLIB is inevitably inferior to that of commercial GNSS receivers, users need to verify whether RTKLIB can satisfy the navigation performance requirements of unmanned vehicles. Therefore, in this paper, the performance evaluation of the RTK positioning algorithm of RTKLIB was performed using GNSS observation data acquired in a dynamic environment. Therefore, in this paper, the RTK positioning performance of RTKLIB was evaluated using GNSS observation data acquired in a dynamic environment. Our results show that the current RTK algorithm of RTKLIB is not suitable for precise navigation of unmanned vehicles.

친환경 지능형 건축 Component system 개발을 위한 요소기술 분석 (Analysis of key technology for the development of environmentally-friendly intelligent housing component system)

  • 전 세계적으로 환경에 대한 관심이 고조되는 가운데 각 산업에서의 환경보호를 위한 노력이 꾸준히 진행되고 있다. 건설분야에서도 환경보존 을 노력이 지속되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 친환경성, 고내구성, 가변성, 갱신성능 그리고 쾌적성 등의 종합적인 성능을 갖춤으로써 미래형 건축물의 기본요소가 될 수 있는 친환경 지능형 건축 Component system 제안을 위한 요소기술 분석에 초점을 맞추었다. 친환경 지능형 건축 Component system 개발을 위해 요구되는 성능을 파악한 후 그 성능을 구현시키기 위한 요소기술을 분석한 결과, SI주택과 Home Automation 기술이 주요 요소기술로 도출되었다. 그리고 이론 및 문헌 고찰을 통해 도출된 요소기술의 개념 및 개발동향에 대하여 대해 살펴본 후 최종적으로 이러한 기술요소의 융합을 통한 친환경 지능형 건축 Component system 을 제안하였다.

국회 외곽 경호·경비시스템 발전방향에 관한 연구 (Improving the Protection and Security System Outside the National Assembly Building)

  • 대한민국 국회는 "가"급 국가중요시설임에도 불구하고 테러 발생에 대한 가능성과 국회 청사내 집회 및 시위와 금지물품 반입은 점점 증가하고 있으며, 열린국회를 지향함으로써 많은 출입문 개방과 다수의 이용자로 인해 출입통제에 있어 취약점이 많다고 할 수 있다. 또한, 국회를 공격함으로써 얻게 되는 상징적인 효과는 매우 높지만 보안관리 수준은 상대적으로 매우 낮아 테러 공격의 대상이 될 가능성이 매우 높다. 이러한 보안상의 취약점을 해결하기 위해서는 제3선인 외곽에서부터의 적절한 출입통제시스템을 운용해야 한다. 하지만 외곽에서 적절한 출입통제가 이루어지지 않고 있으며, 외곽 경비를 담당하고 있는 국회경비대는 2023년 의무경찰 폐지에 따라 2020년 6월에 철수할 예정이므로 이에 따른 외곽 경비 대체 방안과 더불어 외곽 경호·경호경비시스템을 강화할 수 있는 방안을 조속히 마련할 필요가 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 국회사무처 보안 분야 담당 공무원 114명을 대상으로 외곽 경호·경비시스템에 대한 인식조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 국회 외곽에서 위협상황이 발생할 가능성이 높다고 인식하고 있으며, 지능형 영상감지 시스템 및 침입탐지시스템과 드론 등 4차 산업혁명 기술 도입에 긍정적으로 인식하고 있다. 또한, 3선 경호 체계를 중장기적으로 일원화하고 전담부서를 설치하는 방안에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하고 있으며, 국회경비대 대체 방안으로는 청원경찰이 가장 높은 응답률을 보였고, 중장기적으로 의회경찰을 도입하는 것에 긍정적으로 인식하고 있다.

Fault Detection and Diagnosis System for a Three-Phase Inverter Using a DWT-Based Artificial Neural Network

  • Inverters are considered the basic building blocks of industrial electrical drive systems that are widely used for various applications; however, the failure of electronic switches mainly affects the constancy of these inverters. For safe and reliable operation of an electrical drive system, faults in power electronic switches must be detected by an efficient system that is capable of identifying the type of faults. In this paper, an open switch fault identification technique for a three-phase inverter is presented. Single, double, and triple switching faults can be diagnosed using this method. The detection mechanism is based on stator current analysis. Discrete wavelet transform (DWT) using Daubechies is performed on the Clarke transformed (-) stator current and features are extracted from the wavelets. An artificial neural network is then used for the detection and identification of faults. To prove the feasibility of this method, a Simulink model of the DWT-based feature extraction scheme using a neural network for the proposed fault detection system in a three-phase inverter with an induction motor is briefly discussed with simulation results. The simulation results show that the designed system can detect faults quite efficiently, with the ability to differentiate between single and multiple switching faults.

  • We have proposed Fuzzy-CBR to find a solution from past knowledge retrieved from the database and adapted to a new situation. However, ontology is needed in identifying concepts, relations and instances that are involved in a situation in order to improve and facilitate the efficient retrieval of similar cases from the CBR database. This paper proposes the way to apply ontology fur identifying the concepts involved in a new case, used as inputs, for a ship collision avoidance support system and in solving for similarity through document articulation and abstraction levels. These ontologies will be used to build a conceptual model of a maneuvering situation.
