Although Intelligent Tutoring System(ITS) offers individualized learning environment that overcome limited function of existent CAI, and consider many learners' variable, there is little development to be using at the sites of schools because of inefficiency of investment and absence of pedagogical content knowledge representation techniques. To solve these problem, we should study a method, which represents knowledge for ITS, and which reuses knowledge base. On the pedagogical content knowledge, the knowledge in education differs from knowledge in a general sense. In this paper, we shall primarily address the multi-complex structure of knowledge and explanation of learning vein using multi-complex structure. Multi-Complex, which is organized into nodes, clusters and uses by knowledge base. In addition, it grows a adaptive knowledge base by self-learning. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the 'Extended Neural Logic Network(X-Neuronet)', which is based on Neural Logic Network with logical inference and topological inflexibility in cognition structure, and includes pedagogical content knowledge and object-oriented conception, verify validity. X-Neuronet defines that a knowledge is directive combination with inertia and weights, and offers basic conceptions for expression, logic operator for operation and processing, node value and connection weight, propagation rule, learning algorithm.
Currently, Intelligent femoral prostheses that support the corresponding mode in walking and specific movements are being studied. Certain controls such as upstairs, sitting, and standing require a technique to classify control commands based on the user's intention because the mode must be changed before the operation. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a technique that can classify various control commands based on the user's intention in the intelligent thigh prosthesis system. If it is determined that the EMG signal needs to be compensated, the proposed technique compensates the EMG signal using the correlation between the strength and frequency components of the normal EMG signal and the muscle volume estimated by the pressure sensor. Through the experiment, it was confirmed that the user's intention was accurately detected even in the situation where muscle fatigue was accumulated. Improved intention detection techniques allow five control modes to be distinguished based on the number of muscle contractions within a given period of time. The results of the experiment confirmed that 97.5% accuracy was achieved through muscle tone compensation even if the strength of the muscle signal was different from normal due to muscle fatigue after exercise.

There are many tasks which require robotic manipulators interaction with environment. It consists of three control problems, i.e., position control, impact control and force control. The position control means the way of reaching to the environment. The moment of touching to the environment yields the impact control problem and the force control is to maintain the desired force trajectory after the impact with the environment. These three control problems occur in sequence, so each control algorithm can be developed independently. Especially for redundant manipulators, each of these three control problems has been important independent research topic. For example, joint torque minimization and impulse minimization are typical techniques for such control problems. The three control problems are considered as a single task in this paper. The position control strategy is developed to improve the performance of the task, i.e., minimization of the individual joint torques and impulse. Therefore, initial conditions of the impact control problem are optimized at the previous position control algorithm. Such a control strategy yields improved result of the impact control. Similarly, the initial conditions for the force control problem are indirectly optimized by the previous position control and impact control strategies. The force control algorithm uses the individual joint torque minimization concept. It also minimizes the force disturbances. The simulation results show the proposed control strategy works well.

Due to the rapid urbanization, various traffic problems such as traffic jams during commute and regular traffic jams are occurring. In order to solve these traffic problems, it is necessary to quickly and accurately estimate and analyze traffic volume. ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) is a system that performs optimal traffic management by utilizing the latest ICT (Information and Communications Technology) technologies, and research has been conducted to analyze fast and accurate traffic volume through various techniques. In this study, we proposed a deep learning-based vehicle detection method using UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) video for real-time traffic analysis with high accuracy. The UAV was used to photograph orthogonal videos necessary for training and verification at intersections where various vehicles pass and trained vehicles by classifying them into sedan, truck, and bus. The experiment on UAV dataset was carried out using YOLOv3 (You Only Look Once V3), a deep learning-based object detection technique, and the experiments achieved the overall object detection rate of 90.21%, precision of 95.10% and the recall of 85.79%.

Intelligent video analysis systems require techniques which can predict accidents and provide alarms to the monitoring personnel. In this paper, we present an abnormal behavior analysis technique based on adaptive background generation. More specifically, abnormal behaviors include fence climbing, abandoned objects, fainting persons, and loitering persons. The proposed video analysis system consists of (i) background generation and (ii) abnormal behavior analysis modules. For robust background generation, the proposed system updates static regions by detecting motion changes at each frame. In addition, noise and shadow removal steps are also were added to improve the accuracy of the object detection. The abnormal behavior analysis module extracts object information, such as centroid, silhouette, size, and trajectory. As the result of the behavior analysis function objects' behavior is configured and analyzed based on the a priori specified scenarios, such as fence climbing, abandoning objects, fainting, and loitering. In the experimental results, the proposed system was able to detect the moving object and analyze the abnormal behavior in complex environments.
Network-based intelligent robot is connected with network system, provides interactions with humans, and carries out its own roles on ubiquitous computing environments. URC (Ubiquitous Robot Companion) robot has been proposed to develop network-based robot by applying distributed computing techniques. On URC robot, it is possible to save the computing power of robot client by environments, has been proposed to develop robot software using service-oriented architecture on server-client computing environments. The SOMAR client robot consists of two layers - device service layer and robot service layer. The device service controls physical devices, and the robot service abstracts robot's services, which are newly defined and generated by combining many device services. RSEL (Robot Service Executing Language) is defined in this paper to represent relations and connections between device services and robot services. A RESL document, including robot services by combining several device services, is translated to a programming language for robot client system using RSEL translator, then the translated source program is compiled and uploaded to robot client system with RPC (Remote Procedure Call) command. A SOMAR client system is easy to be applied to embedded systems of host/target architecture. Moreover it is possible to produce a light-weight URC client robot by reducing workload of RSEL processing engine.

Multi-object tracking has been studied for a long time under computer vision and plays a critical role in applications such as autonomous driving and driving assistance. Multi-object tracking techniques generally consist of a detector that detects objects and a tracker that tracks the detected objects. Various publicly available datasets allow us to train a detector model without much effort. However, there are relatively few publicly available datasets for training a tracker model, and configuring own tracker datasets takes a long time compared to configuring detector datasets. Hence, the detector is often developed separately with a tracker module. However, the separated tracker should be adjusted whenever the former detector model is changed. This study proposes a system that can train a model that performs detection and tracking simultaneously using only the detector training datasets. In particular, a Siam network with augmentation is used to compose the detector and tracker. Experiments are conducted on public datasets to verify that the proposed algorithm can formulate a real-time multi-object tracker comparable to the state-of-the-art tracker models.

If there is a defect in the wheel bearing, which is a major part of the car, it can cause problems such as traffic accidents. In order to solve this problem, big data is collected and monitoring is conducted to provide early information on the presence or absence of wheel bearing failure and type of failure through predictive diagnosis and management technology. System development is needed. In this paper, to implement such an intelligent wheel hub bearing maintenance system, we develop an embedded system equipped with sensors for monitoring reliability and soundness and algorithms for predictive diagnosis. The algorithm used acquires vibration signals from acceleration sensors installed in wheel bearings and can predict and diagnose failures through big data technology through signal processing techniques, fault frequency analysis, and health characteristic parameter definition. The implemented algorithm applies a stable signal extraction algorithm that can minimize vibration frequency components and maximize vibration components occurring in wheel bearings. In noise removal using a filter, an artificial intelligence-based soundness extraction algorithm is applied, and FFT is applied. The fault frequency was analyzed and the fault was diagnosed by extracting fault characteristic factors. The performance target of this system was over 12,800 ODR, and the target was met through test results.

The energy crisis is emerging as a serious problem around the world. In the case of Korea, there is great interest in energy efficiency research related to industrial complexes, which use more than 53% of total energy and account for more than 45% of greenhouse gas emissions in Korea. One of the studies is a study on saving energy through sharing facilities between factories using the same utility in an industrial complex called a virtual energy network plant and through transactions between energy producing and demand factories. In such energy-saving research, data collection is very important because there are various uses for data, such as analysis and prediction. However, existing systems had several shortcomings in reliably collecting time series data. In this study, we propose an intelligent IIoT platform to improve it. The intelligent IIoT platform includes a preprocessing system to identify abnormal data and process it in a timely manner, classifies abnormal and missing data, and presents interpolation techniques to maintain stable time series data. Additionally, time series data collection is streamlined through database optimization. This paper contributes to increasing data usability in the industrial environment through stable data collection and rapid problem response, and contributes to reducing the burden of data collection and optimizing monitoring load by introducing a variety of chatbot notification systems.

In this paper, we proposed the cell multiplexer using Hopfield neural network and the bandwidth predictor using the backpropagation neural network in order to make an accurate call setup decision. The cell multiplexer controls heterogeneous traffic and the bandwidth predictor estimates minimum bandwidth which satisfies traffic's QoS and maximizes throughput in network. Also, a novel connection admission controller decides on connection setup using the predicted bandwidth from bandwidth predictor and available bandwidth in networks. And then, we proposed a fuzzy traffic policer, when traffic sources violate the contract, takes an appropriate action and aim proved traffic shaper, which controls burstness which is one of key characteristics in multimedia traffic. We simulated the proposed controller. Simulation results show that the proposed controller outperforms existing controller.
