The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of emotional intelligence in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. To achieve this research purpose, theoretical and empirical studies related to transformational leadership, organizational citizenship behavior, and emotional intelligence were carried out simultaneously. A field survey was undertaken through questionnaire sampling a population of public organization in Chungchungnamdo. The established hypotheses related to transformational leadership, organizational citizenship behavior, and emotional intelligence were verified by the hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS. The result of this research are as followers : First, hypothesis1 proposed that emotional intelligence will be moderate the effect of charisma on organizational citizenship behavior. The hierarchical regression analysis revealed that moderation term was insignificant. The interaction term for charisma and emotional intelligence had a insignificant and positive relationship with organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, hypothesis1 was not supported by the data. Second. hypothesis2 stated that emotional intelligence will be moderate the effects of inspirational motivation on organizational citizenship behavior. Hypothesis2 The result of the hierarchical regression analysis show a insignificant interaction between inspirational motivation and emotional intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, hypothesis2 was not supported by the data. Third, hypothesis3 stated that emotional intelligence will moderate the effect of intellectual stimulation on organizational citizenship behavior. The result of the hierarchical regression analysis show a significant interaction between intellectual stimulation and emotional intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, hypothesis3 was supported by the data. Fourth, hypothesis4 proposed that emotional intelligence will moderate effect of individualized consideration on organizational citizenship behavior. The hierarchical regression analysis revealed that the interaction term for individualized consideration and emotional intelligence had a significant and positive relationship with organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, hypothesis4 was supported by the data. This study revealed that emotional intelligence moderate the relationship between intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration, and organizational citizenship behavior. It concludes that organizational citizenship behavior varies with coalignment of transformational leadership and emotional intelligence.
This study analyzed the effects of supervisor's leadership style on job attitude. questionnaires were analyzed for workers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon. First, the correlation coefficient between intellectual stimulation and organizational commitment was .537, the correlation coefficient between intellectual stimulation and turnover intention was .454, and the correlation between turnover intention and charisma was .426, with a confidence level of p <.01 The correlation coefficient between intellectual stimulation and job satisfaction was .356, the correlation between organizational commitment and charisma was .405, the correlation between turnover and charisma was .396, and the correlation level was p <.05. Second, the intellectual stimulation had a significant effect on the confidence level of p <.05 on organizational commitment, which is a sub-domain of job attitude, and the turnover intention had a statistically significant effect on trust level of p <.01. Job satisfaction was not statistically significant. Third, among the general characteristics, organizational commitment and job satisfaction according to the residence were found to have group differences at the confidence level of p <.01. The purpose of this study is to provide useful data to improve the attitude of job by grasping the type of leadership of supervisor.

Today's health care environment is rapidly changing and nurse administrators' leadership styles need to identify in nursing organization to achieve organizational objectives. By Bass(1985), transformational leadership stimulates the subordinates to be creative and achieve organizational objectives and is related to job satisfaction, job involvement, productivity, and organizational commitment. Transformational leadership process consists of charisma, intellectual stimulation, individual consideration. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of transformational leadership and personal characteristics on nurses' organizational commitment. The subjects for this study consisted of 594 nurse from 8 University Hospitals and General Hospitals. The data were collected by personal characteristics scale, transformational leadership scale, and organizational commitment scale. The factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were used for the statistical method. The results of this study were found that (1) charisma dimension of transformational leadership has positive influence on nurses' organizational commitment; but another two dimensions(intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration) did not showed significant effect on organizational commitment (2) nurses' personal characteristic(internal locus of control) moderated the effect of transformational leadership on organizational commitment.
The Purpose of this study was to identify the relationship among leadership style of nurse managers, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. Method: The subjects were 468 nurses and 19 head nurses who were working at the 3 general hospitals in seoul. The data were collected from July 6 to September 14, 2001 by the structured questionnaires. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with SAS package were used. Result: 1) The score of the nurse managers' transformational leadership perceived by surbodinates' were higher than that of the nurse managers' transactional leadership. Among 5 subdimensions of the leadership styles perceived by surbodinates', the scores of 'charisma' and 'intellectual stimulation' were highest and 'management by exception' were lowest. 2) 'Charisma', 'intellectual stimulation', 'individual consideration' and 'contingent reward' were positively related to all of variables except 'turnover intention'. 'Management by exception' was negatively related to all of variables and was positively related to 'turnover intention'. 3) 'Job satisfaction' was positively related to 'organizational commitment' and 'Job satisfaction', 'organizational commitment' were negatively related to 'turnover intention'. 4) As a result of stepwise multiple regression analysis, the key determinants of 'turnover intention' were 'organizational commitment' and this explained 44.4% of the total variance of it.

This study analyzes the effects of leadership by team leaders on team empowerment and the effects of team empowerment on the performance of team members in fashion companies. A survey was conducted from May 1 to June 30 in 2010. The data were collected from team members in fashion companies in the Seoul metropolitan area and 670 respondents were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result, the leadership of the team leaders was classified by the contingent reward, individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation, charisma, and exceptional management. Team empowerment was classified by the team potency, team autonomy, team impact, and team meaning. The performance of team members were classified by the job accomplishment, job satisfaction, and job commitment. The intellectual stimulation and charisma leadership influenced team empowerment in fashion companies; in addition, the team potency, team impact, and team meaning influenced the performance of team members in fashion companies.

This study was carried out to verify how much instructor's communication skill affects the student pilot's study motivation and satisfaction. The instructor's communication styles are classified into 3 groups by pre-analysis. Three types are cooperative type, control type and professional type. Intellectual cause, performance proficiency cause, social cause and stimulation avoidance cause are extracted and analyzed for the cause of study motivation. Cooperative and control type affected all of 4 factors of student's study motivation by influence analysis. Intellectual cause affected control and cooperative type positively, especially more to cooperative type. Performance proficiency cause also had positive influence to control and cooperative type. Stimulation avoidance cause didn't appear to affect all sub-classified 4 factors of instructor's communication type. Influence analysis of student's study satisfaction from instructor's communication style showed that independent variable affected all sub factors positively. Degree of positive influence affected the control type the most, cooperative type was the 2nd, and professional type was the 3rd.
This study was designed to investigate the results of a performance analysis on the effect of transformational leadership on the efficacy of organizational citizenship behavior of hotel convention employees. This study referenced the relevant literature, proposed hypotheses to solve the main issues of inquiry, and made a corresponding empirical analysis. For the empirical analysis, a questionnaire was given to a total of 149 kitchen and food & beverage banquet employees at a Seoul area deluxe hotel convention. The model was tested using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0 on a sample of 149 surveys, of which 71% constituted a usable response rate. The results of the empirical analysis show the following. 1) Charisma and vision have a significant effect on group efficacy. 2) Individual consideration and intellectual stimulation have significant influence on self efficacy. 3) Individual consideration and intellectual stimulation have significant influence on group efficacy. 4) Altruism and conscientiousness have significant influence on group efficacy. 5) Sportsmanship and civic virtue have significant influence on self efficacy.

We study to confirm the relationship between leadership trust and job satisfaction on the leadership style of managers recognized by ICT organization members. To this end, the research hypothesis established by using SPSS23.0 for the survey results of 230 ICT organization members was analyzed as follows. First, the hypothesis 1 person leadership type (individual consideration: H1-1, intellectual stimulation: H1-2, charisma: H1-3, conditional compensation: H1-4, exceptional reward: H1-5) had a significant effect on leader trust. The results were obtained. Second, the hypothesis 2 manager's leadership type (individual consideration: H21-1, intellectual stimulation: H2-2, charisma: H2-3, conditional compensation: 2-4, expected compensation: H2-5) is based on job satisfaction. As a result of verifying the impact relationship, all showed significant effect on job satisfaction. Third, it acted as a positive factor in the job satisfaction of the leader of the hypothesis 3-member organizational member. It was confirmed that the job satisfaction of organizational members started based on the trust of actual leaders. Fourth, the role of leadership trust was partially confirmed between leadership type and job satisfaction. Through this study, in order to improve job satisfaction of ICT organizational members, the importance of exerting competency on the leadership type of managers and trusting the leaders on the characteristics consistent with ICT organizational characteristics was emphasized.
The study intended to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and creativity of cooks with transformational leadership as antecedent variable. Transformational leadership has been assessed positively in variable studies as a leadership to improve employee's creativity. The authors also tried to explore structural relationships among transformational leadership, intrinsic motivation, and creativity by identifying the meditating role of intrinsic motivation in the relationship between transformational leadership and creativity of cooks. The study subject was CJ FOODVILLE, which is a representative company with its size, sales, and recognition as a domestic restaurant business. A survey was conducted with employees who were working as a cook in restaurants operated by CJ FOODVILLE in metropolitan areas. The results of the study showed that charisma and intellectual stimulation of transformational leadership positively influenced intrinsic motivation, but inspirational motivation and individualized consideration did not significantly influence intrinsic motivation. In addition, the four elements of transformational leadership did not significantly affect creativity. The findings of the study show that intrinsic motivation played a role as a mediation among charisma, intellectual stimulation, and creativity of transformational leadership. Therefore, the findings of the study suggested intrinsic motivation as an important factor affecting creativity of cooks.
