노년기 여성의 자아통합감과 인구통계적 특성, 건강 및 외모행동과의 관련 연구 (Ego Integrity, Appearance Behavior, Health, and Demographic Variables of Elderly Women)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the differences of appearance behavior and ego integrity of elderly women according to demographic variables, and health, and to examine how the ego integrity of elderly women was influenced by appearance behavior, health, and demographic variables. The subjects were 117 elderly women(aged 60 to 70) in Jinju, Korea who were interviewed face-to face with a survey questionnaire. The results of the study were as follows. There were significant differences in appearance adornment and ego integrity (wise living and attitude toward life) according to age. After controlling for age, there were significant differences in appearance interest, makeup, and ego integrity according to education. There was a significant difference in ego integrity (attitude toward life) according to the presence of a spouse or mate. There were significant differences in appearance interest, makeup, and ego integrity according to health. Health and education had a significant effect on satisfaction with the present living. Health, age(-), and appearance behavior had a significant effect on wise living. Health, age(-), and education had a significant effect on attitude toward life. Education and health had a significant effect on appearance behavior. The present findings indicate that health state and appearance behavior, such as appearance interest and makeup, had a significant effect on the ego integrity of elderly women. On the whole, the ego integrity of elderly women was positively correlated with the level of health state, education, and appearance behavior.

독거노인의 자아통합감에 미치는 영향요인 (The Influencing Factors on the Ego Integrity of Elderly Living Alone)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted in order to determine the extent of ego integrity and to confirm the association between the sense of ego integrity and integrated loneliness, social support, and social activities. Methods: For this study, 146 elderly people participated. The data was analyzed with SPSS/WIN 21.0, using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: In regards to differences between ego integrity according to general characteristics of subjects, there was a statistically significant difference in education (F=4.13, p=.007). In elderly living alone, ego integrity was significantly positive correlated with social support and social activities, but negative correlated with loneliness. These variables explained 43.2% of the sense of ego integrity. Conclusion: The study suggested that nursing programs and social activity programs designed to aid the elderly living alone must focus on reducing loneliness, as well as increasing social support and social activities, while taking education into consideration. Also, these programs should strive to build social support systems.

한국 전통의 청백리를 통한 현대 공직 청렴교육 시사점 (Some Implications to the Current Integrity Education for Officials using the Cases of Korean Traditional Cheongbaekri)

  • 이 연구는 한국 전통의 청백리 사례를 검토해보고, 이를 토대로 현대 공직 청렴교육을 위한 시사점을 도출하는 데 주안을 두었다. 청렴은 하나의 주제이자 덕목이다. 따라서 청렴은 가치교육 측면에서 살펴볼 수 있다. 우리 전통 속의 청백리는 가치교육에서 말하는 인물 귀감(modeling)의 자격을 갖는다. 우리 전통 속에서는 많은 청백리 사례가 있는데, 이 연구는 청백리 제도가 정착된 조선시대의 전기 인물인 박수량, 중기인물인 이원익, 후기인물인 정약용을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 이들은 공직을 수행하면서도 높은 벼슬에 있을 때도 자신의 지위를 탐욕의 도구로 악용하지 않았으며, 가산이 풍족하지 않아도 욕심이 적었기에 행복했다. 이들은 최초에 품은 마음 자체가 백성을 어여삐 여기고 스스로 일상 속에서 군자가 되고자 노력했다. 이외에도 많은 청백리의 모범들이 있지만, 이들의 행적은 현대 공직자들에게 큰 귀감이 된다. 향후 이와 같은 청백리 사례의 특징을 잘 발굴하여, 현대 공직자 윤리교육에 적용한다면 더 높은 효과를 거둘 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

노인평생교육 참여가 자아통합감에 미치는 영향과 생활만족도의 매개효과 (The Effects of Elderly's Participation in Lifelong Education on the Ego Integrity, and The Mediating Effect of Life Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 노인의 평생교육 참여(참여 여부 및 참여 분야)가 자아통합감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 노인 생활만족도의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구에 활용된 자료는 서울시복지재단에서 실시한 2010년도 서울시복지패널조사이며, 60세 이상의 노인 1,862명을 최종분석대상으로 추출되었다. 연구모형의 검증을 위해 구조방정식을 활용하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 노인의 평생교육 참여와 자아통합감의 관계에서 생활만족도는 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인평생교육 분야 중 어학 분야에 참여할수록, 문화예술 분야에 참여하지 않을수록 생활만족도는 높게 나타났다. 자아통합감에 있어서는 문화예술 분야에 참여할수록, 자기계발과 취미분야에 참여하지 않을수록 높게 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 고령화 사회에서 노인의 평생교육 참여가 성공적 노화에 중요한 생활만족도와 자아통합감에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결론에 기초하여 노인평생교육 활성화에 대한 이론적 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

  • Many researchers have proposed the various methods to detect illegal intrusion in order to improve internet environment. Among these researches, IDS(Intrusion Detection System) is classified the most common model to protect network security. In this paper, we propose new log format instead of Apache log format for SSL integrity verification. We translate file-DB log format into R-DB log format. Using these methods we can manage Web server's integrity, and log data is transmitted verification system to be able to perform both primary function of IDS and Web server's integrity management at the same time. The proposed system in this paper is also able to use for wire and wireless environment based on PDA.

체육학 연구에서의 연구부정행위 방지를 위한 근거이론적 접근 (Promoting research integrity in sport and leisure studies: From the perspectives of academia)

  • 연구 부정행위는 체육학 연구에서 지속돼야 할 연구주제이지만 연구 부정행위의 복잡한 매커니즘과 연구 진실성을 확보하기 위한 방안에 관한 연구는 미진한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 체육학에서의 연구부정행위의 발생원인 및 해결방안을 학계 구성원의 관점에서 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해서 근거이론 방법의 적용을 통해 13명의 학자 및 대학원생들에 집단인터뷰(focus group interview), 개인인터뷰(follow-up one-on-one interview), 서술적 설문조사(qualitative questionnaire)를 통하여 수집하였다. 연구결과 연구부정행위는 사회구조적(socio-political), 사회문화적(socio-cultural), 개인적(personal) 맥락에서 발생하는 것으로 인식되었으며, 해결 방안은 첫째, 위로부터의 변화(Top-down approach), 둘째, 아래로부터의 변화(Bottom-up approach), 셋째, 지속적인 교육 및 점검(Continuous education)의 변화가 제시되었다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 제시된 경험적 지식이 체육학을 연구하는 개인 연구자의 연구윤리 의식 제고에 활용되고, 대학의 교육 및 학계 차원의 향후 노력들에 기초자료로 사용되어지기를 기대한다.

치의학 교육의 학습윤리에 관한 연구 (A study on academic integrity in dental education)

  • The topic of academic integrity is an important public concern that has emerged in higher education. Recent surveys at U.S. and Canadian dental schools revealed that cheating and plagiarism were significant problems in dental schools. In addition, some schools stated that cheating had increased compared to a decade ago. Various institutional rituals have been implemented to enhance the academic integrity environment of U. S. and Canadian dental schools. Furthermore, the application of honor code which is dealing with ethical issues has been reported to improve the attitudes and behaviors of students. Since there have been no reported studies regarding ethics curricula in Korean dental schools, further studies should be needed to assess academic integrity policies, violations, and the results of the measures in Korean dental schools. Additionally, the challenge to provide professional ethics curricula for dental students must be conducted with respect and humanity for our students and thus, students will be more likely to respond positively to expectations in terms of ethical behaviors. Therefore, the outcome is clearly and undoubtedly link to better care for patients.

남녀노인의 상실경험과 우울이 자아통합감과 초월에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Loss Experiences and Depression on Ego-integrity and Transcendence of Elderly Korean Men and Women)

  • This study was conducted to explore the influences of loss experiences and depression on ego-integraty and transcendence of elderly Koreans and to identify gender differences in the relationships among loss experiences, depression, ego-integrity, and transcendence from 146 men and 194 women aged over 60 years in Busan, Gyeong-Nam, and Gyeong-Buk area. The main results were as follows: elderly men reported more loss experiences and transcendence than elderly women. Next, loss experiences influenced ego-integrity and depression mediated the relationship between loss experiences and ego-integrity. Also, ego-integrity had a direct effect on transcendence. Last, depression of elderly men fully mediated the relationship between loss experiences and transcendence. The relationship between loss experiences and ego-integration was partially mediated by depression for elderly women. These results were discussed in terms of gero-education and elderly welfare.

How Social Intelligence, Integrity, and Self-efficacy Affect Job Satisfaction: Empirical Evidence from Indonesia

  • The study aims to explore the empirical effect of social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and affective commitment on job satisfaction, and also to prove the theoretical model regarding affective commitment as a mediator between social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach to the survey method through a Likert scale model questionnaire. The questionnaire for all research variables is reliable with an alpha coefficient > 0.7. The research participants are comprised of 386 teachers in Indonesia selected by accidental sampling. Data analysis uses path analysis supported by descriptive statistics and correlational matrices. The research results indicate that social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and affective commitment have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Besides, affective commitment also indirectly mediates the effect of social intelligence, integrity, and self-efficacy on job satisfaction. Thus, a new model regarding the effect of social intelligence, integrity, and self-efficacy on job satisfaction mediating by affective commitment was confirmed. The research suggested that the teachers' job satisfaction can improve through social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and affective commitment. Therefore, researchers and practitioners can adopt a new empirical model to enhance job satisfaction through social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and affective commitment in the future.

우울한 여성독거노인의 자아통합감 증진을 위한 인지행동치료 프로그램 개발 및 효과 (The effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy for ego-integrity of depressed elderly women living alone)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to develop a cognitive behavioral therapy program for ego-integrity of depressed elderly women living alone, and to verify its effectiveness. Method: The subjects of this study were composed of elderly women(age 65 and older) living alone who had basic literacy skills, 24 or higher in mental state examination(MMSE-K), and 6 or higher in elderly depression(GDS). 29 women were randomly assigned into an experimental group(cognitive behavioral therapy), a comparison group(reminiscence therapy) and a control group. The experimental group and the comparison group retrospectively participated in a 90-minute therapy session twice a week for a total of 12 weeks. The effectiveness of the program was assessed through a pretest, posttest, and 2-month follow-up test. The data collected were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 statistical program. Results: The main findings of this study are as follows. First, at posttest ego-integrity and self-esteem marked higher scores in both of the experimental group and the comparison group than in the control group, but the experimental group marked comparatively higher scores than the comparison group. For dysfunctional attitude, only the experimental group showed lower scores compared to the comparison group and the control group. Second, at posttest depression marked lower scores in the experimental group compared to the comparison group and the control group. Third, at posttest problem-solving and support-seeking coping strategies marked higher scores in the experimental group compared to the comparison group and the control group. Fourth, the significant improvements remained at 2-month follow-up test. Conclusions: Cognitive behavioral therapy resulted in improvements of the ego-integrity and related symptoms of depressed elderly women living alone at posttest and 2-month follow-up test respectively.
