An ecconomically competitive automated manufacturing system integrates the various control processes and data used in design, manufacturing, sale and service of products. CIM is a way to achieve such integration through computers and computational techniques in design, planning, and manufacturing. Developing effective CIM architectures is hampered by integration problems. The key to resolving these problems lies in a better understanding of manufacturing function and how it is related to other manufacturing functions. Integration of CIM environment requires coordinated solutions to data management problems for individual application system as well as for exchange of data between these applications. This requires a common framework for data management throughout the CIM environment. This paper discusses the design paradigm as a framework for this purpose. Designing an organizational structure to meet those goals involves 1) analyzing the functions through functional decomposition, 2) developing a data model to coordinate functions. As a result, we propose an object-oriented design methodology for manufacturing information system.

This paper analyzes the technical efficiencies of 40 Korean system integration firms using data envelopment analysis (DEA) and Malmquist productivity indices. Technical efficiencies on average had been decreased over the five year period and the efficiency difference between best practice firms and catch-up firms had been increased during this period, meaning that the industry structure has become matured and the possibilities for catch-up firms to be efficient are not remained so much. The differences in efficiency by the differences in ownership structures are statistically significant. It implies that the efficiencies of group-affiliated firms have come from benefits such as the captive market umbrellas, not from their own management competencies. In addition, the technical efficiency is highly correlated with captive market sales, information productivity, sales per employees, rates of value added, returns on invested capital, and EBITDA.

최근 병원내의 전산화로 인하여 병원의 모든 업무는 의료정보시스템을 통하여 이루어지고 있다. 환자에 대한 진료 기록 및 각종 자료가 전산화되어 환자의 병력사항은 모두 의료정보 데이터베이스에 기록되어 관리되어지고 있다. 이러한 의료정보 시스템은 각 개발회사에 따라 또는 병원 자체적으로 개발된 시스템에 따라 비표준화된 의료정보를 각기 관리하고 있다. 이에 의료정보시스템을 통한 서로 다른 병원간의 정보공유가 원활이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 병원간의 서로 다른 의료정보를 표준화하여 이를 웹 서비스를 이용한 통합 모듈을 제공하는 시스템을 설계하였다. 각각의 의료정보를 표준화할 수 있는 의료정보 데이터베이스를 설계하고, 기존의 각 병원의 의료정보를 활용하기 위하여 데이터베이스 변환기 모듈을 제공한다. 또한, 각각의 병원별로 제안된 통합 시스템 모듈을 웹 서비스를 이용하여 사용함으로써 시간과 비용이 절감된다. 이러한 통합 의료정보를 바탕으로 병원 서로간의 정보를 공유함으로써 업무의 효율성을 증대할 수 있다.

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), a non-parametric productivity analysis tool, has become an accepted approach for assessing efficiency in a wide range of fields. Despite of its extensive applications, some features of DEA remain bothersome. DEA offers no guidelines to where relatively inefficient DMU(Decision Making Unit) improve since a reference set of an inefficient DMU consists of several efficient DMUs and it doesn't provide a stepwise path for improving the efficiency of each inefficient DMU considering the difference of efficiency. We aim to show that DEA can be used to evaluate the efficiency of System Integration Projects and suggest the methodology which overcomes the limitation of DEA through hybrid analysis utilizing DEA along with machine learning.

센서네트워크(Sensor Network)기반의 웹 기반 기술과 모바일 컴퓨팅 기술의 급속한 발전으로 인해, 일반인은 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 환경에서 다양한 형태의 데이터와 정보를 생산, 제공 및 공유할 수 있게 되었다. 공간정보분야에서는 지오 센서네트워크(Geosensor Network)와 공간 비공간 데이터 융합처리기술이 결합된 GIS(Geographic Information System)를 이용하여 공간정보 서비스를 제공하는 연구가 진행 중이다. 하지만, 방대한 양을 가지는 웹 데이터와 센서데이터를 GIS 데이터와 연계하여, 사용자 맞춤형 정보를 생성하기 위해서는 상황인지모델 기반의 정보제공이 필요하다. 상황인지 서비스는 사용자의 개입을 최소화하면서, 사용자 상황에 맞는 적절한 정보를 제공하는 것을 의미한다. 이를 위해 상황인지모델은 센서네트워크와 모바일 기기에서 취득된 데이터들의 특성과 연관성을 모델링하고, 사용자의 위치와 관심지역의 상황에 맞는 정보를 제공한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 상황인지모델 기반의 GIS 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 대기환경 데이터와 모바일 데이터를 취득하고 분석된 결과를 대기환경정책에 반영함으로써, 시민의 환경의식을 높이고 공동참여를 활성화하도록 설계되었다.

This study aims to develop the Extended Urban Land Information System (EULIS) which can support the sustainable urban management. Although the existing Urban Land Use Information system (ULUIS) that aids the micro-level land use information is a good means for the understanding of urban spatial structure and district-level planning and management (such as urban design, redevelopment planning and district-level transportation planning, etc.), it has some limitations in supplying the information for sustainable urban management, such as environmental and traffic analysis, urban infrastructure's carrying capacity analysis, etc. The EULIS is designed to efficiently supply the information for sustainable urban management. For the successful construction of EULIS, the followings have to be considered. 1) the integration of topographic maps which contain the building's footprints and cadastral maps which contain the parcel's boundary, 2) the integration of EULIS and FM (Facility Management) system for the full utilization of information about capacity analysis of infrastructure, 3) the construction of standardized georeferencing system and spatial unit for the combined use of environment and traffic census data. This study shows 1) why EULIS is needed for the sustainable urban management and which elements are needed for the system,2) the E-R data model for the EULIS, 3) the strategies for the construction of EULIS and 4) the conclusion.

Recently, number of navigation system using GPS and other complementary sensor has been developed to offer high-position accuracy. In this paper, we developed navigation system for mobile robot integrating GPS and DR sensor information provided by fiber optic gyroscopes and encoder information. In the case of short-term applications, integrating this encoder and gyroscope through Kalman filter reliable positioning can be obtained. And for the long-term applications we developed GPS/DR Integration algorithm using Kalman filter

Currently the problem of how to effectively integrate between six sigma and quality control circle is a matter of concern in the korea's manufacturing companies. In this paper we try to find the reasonable organizational alternatives and problem solving procedure by related literature surveying and empirical study. And we ascertain whether it is significant by conducting a survey on 51 six sigma consultants and black belts.

The article reveals and theoretically substantiates the trends of foreign language teachers' professional training in universities of Ukraine in terms of European integration, which are systematized in three areas: macro-level (system of education), meso-level (universities) and micro-level (subjects of educational process). The article aims to substantiate the trends of foreign language teacher training in the context of European integration and the main directions of creative use of constructive ideas of European experience in the innovative development of education. The article lights up the system for improving foreign language teacher training in universities, which is based on updated goals, content and approaches to the implementation of basic concepts, principles and features of teacher training in European experience, enable us to improve the quality of teacher training, its competitiveness in the European labor market. In the article developed the conceptual model of strategic development of the university in the conditions of European integration. It is emphasized that information technologies provide great opportunities for the development of professional skills and intellectual potential of future professionals. At present, the computerization of the educational process in higher education institutions is considered as one of the first and most promising areas for improving the quality of education. The article offered directions of internationalization of educational activity of university in the conditions of European integration. Diagnostic tools for the development of the university in terms of integration into the European educational space, individual rating and ranking of structural units of the university have been developed; main directions of activity of the laboratory of the skill of the teacher of higher school and methodical recommendations on the creation and the organization of work of scientific laboratories.

문헌정보학계에서 개발하여 학습도구로 사용하고 있는 정보처리모형이 왜 창의성 함양에 도움이 되는가? 창의성은 정보의 통합에서 생긴다는 전제를 가지고, 사람의 마음과 두뇌가 정보를 처리할 때와 정보처리모형을 사용할 때 정보통합이 일어나는가를 살펴본 결과 양자에서 다 같이 그 시스템 자체가 창의성을 생산해 내는 정보의 통합을 위한 장치임이 드러났다. 그러므로 정보처리모형의 사용은 사고과정의 정보통합을 도울 수 있다. 또 문자나 언어와 같은 심리적 도구의 기능이 사람의 사고과정에서 일어나는 정보의 통합을 돕는 것이라는 연구결과를 미루어 정보처리모형도 하나의 심리적 도구이므로 사고과정에서 일어나는 정보의 통합을 도와준다고 유추할 수 있다. 따라서 정보처리모형은 두 가지 이유에서 인간정보처리가 통합적이 되도록 도와준다. 즉 창의성을 돕는것이다.
