The subjects were 50 elderly women aged 65 years or older who reside in K-do. The examination period was December 2 in 2014 to February 17 in 2015, during which time mood states, flexibilities, density of the salivary cortisol, variations in heartbeats, and stress were measured. The integrated recreation program had positive effects on mood, flexibility and stress reduction in elderly women. Based on these results, the integrated recreation program is considered to increase mood states and flexibility of elderly women while lowering stress. Therefore, the integrated recreation program developed in this study not only helps the physical and mental health of elderly women, but can also be widely utilized as a health promotion program for the elderly.

  • The goal of this study was to propose building strategies of web-based national park monitoring system (WNPMS) using geographic information analysis system. To accomplish this study, at first, this study selected and made integrated management indicators considering physical, ecological, and socio-psychological carrying capacity in national park. Secondly, this study built up an integrated management this system with statistical analysis program for execution of various multivariate analysis and spatial analysis. Finally, WNPMS could identify the relationship among visitors, natural resources, and recreation facilities in national park, and forecast the future management status of each national park in Korea. There results of this study will contribute to prevent the damage of natural resources and facilities, improve visitor's satisfaction, prevent an excess of carrying capacity at national park, and established tailored management strategies of each national park.

  • This research was carried out to provide a good quality forest healing program as a basic source of development by researching the general characteristics of users of Geiji Mountain in North Jeolla Province, the recognition of forest healing and regional preference programs. As a result of the survey, Geigisan Mountain is used as a natural place for recreation and leisure of residents of Jeonju. The most important factors in the selection of forest healing programs for visitors were the activities, organization and chronology of the program, and the main purpose was to improve health. Week-by-week programs utilizing weekends were preferred for management of forest healing programs. It was revealed that sports programs prefer to enjoy natural scenery, forest experience programs, healing programs, forest therapy programs, meditation programs, and listening to forest music. The outcome of this study is expected to be used as a basic source for developing and researching a program for forest healing in the area of Mt. Meanwhile, the limit on the composition of suitable forest healing programs according to preference is required for continuous and continuous integrated study of the forest healing program for the future of the forest healing program.

  • The Monitoring System developed in this study was designed to help manage the recreational forests by gathering data on visitors' profiles and their opinions about recreational use and related facilities, This data could identify for changing situations in forest recreation demand as well as providing information on planning the management and use of the forest areas in advance. The standardized questionnaire had contained visitor profiles, activities, distribution of use by area, distribution us by time, duration of the visit, expenditure of visitors and information on visitor satisfaction and motivation. Also, the questionnaire had included the evaluations visitors' perception of facilities in order to identify the importance and performance of the various facilities, such as recreational and educational facilities, accomodations, directional signs as well as infrastructure. The monitoring system was developed in the object-oriented programming (OOP) environment. Microsoft Visual Basic 6,0 for the program language, Microsoft Access, and Excel program were used to develop the system. The monitoring system was composed of data input, database, and data analysis system, Once data were put into data input system, it automatically transferred to database, and it eventually produced the results of statistical analysis with one step procedure. This study was integrated with facilities and visitor monitoring system to identify the visitor impact at the recreational forests. In addition, this monitoring system would provide necessary and useful background information for management on recreational use of natural resources in a practical manner.

  • As the prevention of dementia is more important than the treatment after the onset, attention has focused on the prevention of dementia in the elderly. For this study based on 11 integrated programs, we analyzed the domestic research trends of dementia prevention programs for the elderly from 2000 to 2018 in the study of Yang Su-gyeong, Ko Bo-sook, and Park Jeong-hwan (2019) We reviewed the literature research on the elderly's dementia prevention program centered on play. By activity type, music, language, and physical activity were 4 (40.0%), respectively, and games, art, and work were 3 (30.0%), respectively. Dance, literature, traditional play, and recreation were 2 (20.0%), and yoga and life were 1 (10.0%), respectively. In this study, for the purpose of exploring the possibility of using the contents of early childhood education in the elderly dementia prevention program, play shows very positive aspects such as physical exercise ability, positive emotions, and emotional characteristics for the elderly. It is considered that if dementia prevention programs are developed using the contents of early childhood education for the elderly, they will be able to utilize leisure time positively while providing continuous services and maintaining group experiences and mental health.

  • The purpose of the present study is to apply a health belief model to the serious perception of an increase in youth obesity, and to develop and validate a measurement tool for youth obesity prevention among this group who are experiencing increasing rates of obesity. The specific goals of this study are to 1) apply a health belief model to develop a measurement tool for obesity prevention among youth who are seeing rising rates of obesity, and 2) provide an integrated validation procedure and foundation for developing this measurement tool. A total of 1801 high school students[sample1: 902(male:464,female:438); sample2: 899(male:464,female:438)] were recruited and collected data from 12 high school in Seoul and Kyonggi area. For this study the analytic framework of unified validity was developed which can comprehensively reflect unified validity be Messick(1995), framework for conducting a strong program of construct validation by Benson(1998), the unified validity implementation method of Rasch model suggested by Wolfe and Smith(2007a, 2007b). Furthermore, after dividing the developed analytic framework into each stage(the substantive domain), the evidence of validity of Youth Obesity Prevention Scale(YOPS) applying Health Belief Model was systematically suggested. The YOPS suggested the evidence about the substantive domain of unified validity. The developed YOPS was consist of Susceptibility, Severity, Benefits, Barriers and Cues to Action. After 3 stage in substantive domain, the components of YOPS(5factors and 28items) satisfied the unidimensionality, and the 5 point Likert scale had the significant discrimination of the respondents' response.

  • Sustainable Development(SD) is an important concept for the future of the coastal area, and for development of fishing villages. Since 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro many governments and local authorities throughout the world have been engaged in preparing and implementing $\ulcorner$Agenda 21$\lrcorner$. Many projects which previously would have been identified as environmental protection are now presented under the banner of sustainable development. Integrated Coastal Management (ICM) is an extension of sustainable development. ICM was presented as a framework for resolution of coastal use conflicts. The aim of the present paper is to assess sustainable development potential of fishing villages in Cheonsu Bay Region according to implementation of ICM. Cheonsu Bay Region was known as one of the productive fishing grounds and Cheonsu Bay Region preserved unique characteristics of traditional fishing villages. But this region is now experiencing many changes through the massive reclamation projects like Seosan A B Project. After a brief overview of concepts and history of SD and ICM, the reclamation process and its impacts on both fishery and fishing communities in Cheonsu Bay Region are discussed. According to their changing environmental and socio-economic characteristics after the reclamation, ca 35 representative coastal villages in this region can be classified into 5 types. Many coastal villages shows diversity in their economic activities, as tourism and recreation function becomes more and more important in this region. In present-day Cheonsu Bay Region, it is possible to differentiate fishing village cooperatives(FVO) with high potential of sustainable fishery development, FVOs with medium potential, FVOs with low potential on the basis of 14 selected indicators.
