가열 전극 통합 채널 공진기의 진공 환경 구동에 의한 열물성 측정의 민감도 향상 (Sensitivity Enhancement for Thermophysical Properties Measurements via the Vacuum Operation of Heater-integrated Fluidic Resonators)

  • Microscale thermophysical property measurements of liquids have been developed considering the increasing interest in the thermal management of cooling systems and energy storage/transportation systems. To accurately predict the heat transfer performance, information on the thermal conductivity, heat capacity, and density is required. However, a simultaneous analysis of the thermophysical properties of small-volume liquids has rarely been considered. Recently, we proposed a new methodology to simultaneously analyze the aforementioned three intrinsic properties using heater-integrated fluidic resonators (HFRs) in an atmospheric pressure environment comprising a microchannel, resistive heater/thermometer, and mechanical resonator. Typically, the thermal conductivity and volumetric heat capacity are measured based on a temperature response resulting from heating using a resistive thermometer, and the specific heat capacity can be obtained from the volumetric heat capacity by using a resonance densitometer. In this study, we analyze methods to improve the thermophysical property measurement performance using HFRs, focusing on the effect of the ambience around the sensor. The analytical method is validated using a numerical analysis, whose results agree well with preliminary experimental results. In a vacuum environment, the thermal conductivity measurement performance is enhanced, except for the thermal conductivity range of most gases, and the sensitivity of the specific heat capacity measurement is enhanced owing to an increase in the time constant.

대학도서관의 BSC 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Applying the BSC for University Libraries)

  • 오늘날과 같이 급변하는 환경 하에서 대학도서관이 유기적 조직으로써 다양한 변화에 신축적으로 적응하면서 조직의 총체적인 성과를 측정하기 위해서는 자원을 중심으로 한 양적평가와 서비스를 중심으로 한 질적평가 이외에도 자원 활용의 효율성이나 효과성, 서비스의 제공 능력이나 조직구성원의 잠재능력 등 경영전반에 걸친 균형적인 성과측정표의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 Kaplan과 Norton이 개발한 BSC 모형을 비영리조직인 대학도서관에 적합하게 수정하여 고객, 자원, 내부 프로세스, 학습 성장의 네 관점으로 그 모형을 개발하고, 각 관점별 전략에 대한 전략지도와 측정지표를 개발하였다. 궁극적으로 본 연구는 대학도서관에 전략적 계획과 균형성과표를 연계하여 적용함으로써 대학도서관 조직의 전략적 계획에서 성과까지의 전체적이고 포괄적인 그림을 제시하는 전략적 통합 경영지표를 제시하고자 하였다.

건설정보 분류체계 활용도 측정을 통한 분류체계 활성화 방안 (A Promotion Plan through Measuring the Utilization of Information Classification Systems in the Construction Industry)

  • 최근, 산업구조는 산업사회에서 정보화 사회로, 제조산업에서 정보서비스 중심의 산업으로 산업구조의 중심이 소프트하고, 고부가가치의 지식경제사회로 급격히 전환하고 있다. 건설산업도 점차 대형화, 복잡화됨으로써 건설정보화의 중요성은 더욱 커지고 있다. 따라서, 정부에서는$\ulcorner$건설정보 분류체계 구축을 위한 연구$\lrcorner$ 를 추진하여 2001년 5월에 실무적용을 위한 대 $\cdot$ 중분류 등을 제시하였고, 그 결과, '통합건설정보분류체계적용기준' 을 건설교통부 공고로 2001년 8월에 발표하였다. 그러나, 기 구축된 '통합건설정보분류체계"는 건설공사에서 실무활용이 미흡한 실정이다. 이러한 원인을 분석해 보면, 새로운 표준화체계로 추진하기에는 기존의 체계를 변화시키기 어렵고, 잘 개발된 정보표준화의 홍보가 부족하고, 법적 인 구속력이 미약하여 그 적용이 미흡한 것으로 볼 수 있다 또한, 각 발주처의 정보분류체계의 인식부족 및 활용분야의 인식부족으로, 그 실무 활용성이 미흡하다고 볼 수 있다. 특히, 각 주체가 건설관리 분야에서 건설정보 분류체계의 건설업무 활용도를 정확히 인식하지 못함으로써, 그 활용도가 미약한 것으로 지적할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 건설관리 분야에서 각 업무의 정보분류체계 활용도 측정모델을 활용하여 분석하고, 기 구축된$\ulcorner$정보분류체계$\lrcorner$의 각 파셋이 각 업무단계에서 어느 정도 활용되는 지를 분석하였고, 그 활성화 방안을 제시하였다.

우체국 서비스품질이 고객만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impact of Service Quality on the Customer Satisfaction in the Korea Post Office)

  • The CRM is the process of integrated customer management to increase the profitability of firm as a maximizing the consumer's value and supplying the high quality product or service. The Post Information Service Headquarter was recognizing the importance of CRM and constructed the customer relationship management system that based on CRM, steadily has made an endeavor for operating to improve the job operation such as posting, banking and insurance. This research analysed the impact of service quality on the customer satisfaction in the Korea Post Office. First of all, we review the existing literature on measurement of service quality and management. As a result of this review and survey of the employer in post office, nineteen factors emerged as important to the service management of The Korea Post Office; Postal Services, Banking Services, Insurance Services. The regression analysis was utilized for analyzing the influence of service quality factors upon the customer satisfaction. Results show that service quality factors have a statistically significant impact on the customer satisfaction of the Korea Post Office.

맥진기 컨텐츠 개발을 위한 통합 데이터베이스 설계 및 구축 (Design and Construction of Integrated Database for Contents Development of Pulse Analysis System)

  • 인구의 고령화와 의료서비스 수요의 증가로 한의학의 이론을 기초로 한 의료기기 개발이 증가하고 있다. 개발한 의료기기의 임상적 유효성 확보를 위한 다양한 임상시험들이 수행되고 있으며, 이 과정에서 다양하게 수집되는 정보들의 체계적인 관리의 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한의학의 대표적인 진단 방법인 맥진을 기기화 한 맥진기를 이용하여 임상시험을 진행하는데 있어 환자의 의학적 정보, 맥진기의 측정 정보들을 체계적으로 관리할 수 있는 데이터베이스를 설계하고 구축하였다. 구축된 데이터베이스는 임상시험에 대한 다양한 정보 및 측정된 정보의 질관리를 통해 기존 알고리즘 검증 또는 새로운 알고리즘 개발 시 효율적인 대응이 가능하고, 임상 데이터의 통제 측면에서도 여러 장점들을 가지고 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 이종의 맥진기나 다른 생체신호 측정기와의 정보 공유가 가능한 통합 데이터베이스 관리 시스템 구축을 위한 한의 의료기기 데이터 표준안 구성에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

  • This Paper provides perceptual metrics for video quality based on properties of human visual system, and audio quality based on human audition. All metrics work without reference signals, allowing non-intrusive, in-service measurements. A simple and easy-to-learn user interface displays the metrics and saves them in popular file formats like CSV. In this paper, proposed method was able to various and corrective measurement for the multimedia service video quality. As that it was able to application to set up service guide line and the methode of measurement and system for the set up standardization of the high quality video service.

Performance Measurement and Analysis of Intranet using DPE-based Performance Management System

  • The modern telecommunication networks are composed of various network-type and are managed by various management technologies, such as TMN, SNMP, TINA etc. Furthermore, the network user's needs of real-time multimedia services are rapidly increasing. In order to guarantee the user-requested quality-of-service(QoS) and keep the network utilization at maximum, it is required to manage the network performance continuously after the network is deployed. The performance management function should provide the useful information for the network expansion and the capacity reallocation in the future. In this paper, we propose a DPE-based performance management architecture for the integrated management of the heterogeneous network elements with TMN and SNMP. We propose an approach to provide the Intranet traffic monitoring and analysis function using layered network management concept and distributed processing technology. The proposed architecture has been designed and implemented based on multiprocess and multithread structure to support concurrent processing. To manage the traffic according to the Intranet service categories, we implemented an ITMA(Intelligent Traffic Monitoring Agent) with packet capture library. With the proposed architecture, we could measure and analyze the real Intranet traffic of Yeungnam University.

  • 기업들이 IT의 전략적 활용을 통하여 정보의 가용성, 적시성, 신속성 등 다양한 효과를 기대하게 된 이후, 이를 위한 기업의 IT 투자 규모는 증가해 왔다. 그러나 이런 지속적인 IT 투자를 통한 업무생산성 향상이 수익성 효과를 가져올 것이라는 기대감, 즉 IT 투자와 기업의 생산성 지표 사이의 상관관계에 관한 의문은 현재까지도 명확하게 해결되지 않고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 보다 일관되고 통합적인 시각에서 IT 투자와 성과측정 및 관리에 이르기까지의 통합적인 방법론을 제시하고, 이를 L 금융기업의 사례를 통해 적용해 보았다. 특히 본 사례에서 비즈니스와 IT 전략 연계를 평가하고, 비즈니스 효과와 연관된 IT 성과 지표 도출 방법을 개발하고, 지속적으로 평가/관리 할 수 있는 체계를 제시하였다.

PMO 역량에 따른 프로젝트 성과에 관한 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Project Performance by PMO Capability)

  • In recent years, although numbers of corporations are bringing in PMO, they seem to be indifferent to PMO performance measurement. This demonstrates that there are also other reasons beside performance measurement of information systems (IS) project being ambiguous by introducing PMO; the lack of acknowledging the concrete function of PMO, and the scarcity of empirical study about the effect of PMO on the project members and project performance. In this sense, this study is aimed at proposing a new research model in which project success factors (i.e., standardization, management advocacy, and staff expertise) affect PMO capability (i.e., knowledge management, resources management, and problem solving competency) positively, leading to project performance (i.e., task outcomes, psychological outcomes, and organizational outcomes) eventually. To empirically test the research model, data are surveyed from PMO department and IS department. To prove the validity of the proposed research model, PLS analysis is applied with valid 132 questionnaires. By employing PLS technique, the measurement reliability and validity of research variables are tested and the path analysis is conducted to do the hypothesis testing. The path analysis results can be organized into 7 ways in large scale. First, standardization of project success factors has a positive association with knowledge management, resources management, and problem solving competency of PMO capabilities. The findings of this result indicate that the multiple or single project management should satisfy standardization in order to operate an effective PMO. Second, management advocacy of project success factors has a positive association with knowledge management, resources management, and problem solving competency. Management advocacy refers to the willingness of management to provide the required resources and authority for project success. There is agreement among researchers regarding the importance of management advocacy for favorable PMO capability. Third, staff expertise of project success factors has a positive association with knowledge management, resources management, and problem solving competency. The findings of this result indicate that the formation of an exceptional consultant or members with a proficient knowledge for staff expertise of project member is the key factor to elevate the PMO capability. Past research suggests that experience and knowledge and the resultant familiarity with the problem faced can be an important determinant of PMO capability. A capable project with appropriate staff expertise means that it enjoys a diversity of abilities and experiences. Fourth, knowledge management competency of PMO capabilities has a positive impact on psychological outcomes but has no direct effect on task outcomes and organizational outcomes. In domestic case of S. Korea, PMO was finally introduced to many other corporations in 2005 though it started bringing in 2000. Therefore, it had neither a significant impact on the task outcomes nor organizational outcomes by lacking the contents and the infrastructure of the knowledge management because the knowledge consolidation and management period of PMO is comparatively shorter by terms than other foreign nations. Fifth, resources management competency of PMO capabilities has a positive association with task outcomes, psychological outcomes, and organizational outcomes. In addition, problem solving competency of PMO capabilities has a positive association with task outcomes, psychological outcomes, and organizational outcomes. Therefore, the findings of this results stress that PMO capabilities has a positive impact on project performance. Sixth, according to the path analysis of the hypothesis, which suggested in this research, problem solving competency is the PMO capability which is the key success factor for task, psychological, and organizational outcomes as an integrated performance model. Further, the analysis reveals that problem solving competency is an important factor for integrated performance model. The finding is in line with past IS research, which affirms that the work of IS projects is essentially a problem solving endeavor. Seventh, in the path analysis of the hypothesis in this research, the path of the management advocacy $\rightarrow$ problem solving competency $\rightarrow$ organizational outcomes appears to be the most important and strongest path. In brief, the finding of this study suggests that project success factors influence PMO capability positively, and project performance as well. From the results, it can be concluded that PMO helped great improve the project success rate and project performance. This study advances research on PMO capability in three important aspects. First, the findings of our study have implications for IS theory and future research. Our study contributes to IS theory by synthesizing concepts from PMO research and project management research with those in IS research. We proposed and tested PMO capability of IS projects and the findings of our investigation provided some preliminary answers to some of the questions raised. Secondly, this thesis does not only help depicting the concept of IT governance but also approaches empirically. It makes a gradual approach to the main content, step by step, in contrary of simple standard, scholastic way of thinking. Finally, we argued that this task-oriented(technical) view is not sufficient to adequately conceptualize IS project performance. Hence, we applied that the research on organization teams, which provides a flip viewpoint to that of project management research in that it gives more weight for psychological outcomes of organizational work groups, can be very helpful in reconceptualizing the IS project performance construct. The limitations of this study are also discussed to provide research directions for future research.

  • 최근 IPTV 사용자가 증가 하면서 품질에 대한 사용자들의 기대가 커지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 서비스 제공이 가능한 IPTV 서비스의 품질 측정을 위하여 IP 망의 도메인별로 성능 모니터링을 수행하는 시스템과 이를 통합적으로 관리 할 수 있는 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술하였다. 구현된 성능 모니터링 및 통합관리 시스템의 시험을 위하여 IPTV 실험 환경을 구성하였으며, 실험 환경에서 IP 계층 및 MPEG-2 전송 스트림의 품질 파라미터를 측정 및 비교하였다.
