디지털 기술의 발전으로 컴퓨터와 정보 통신 기술이 결합하여 하나의 시스템에서 다매체 즉 인터그레이티드 미디어(Integrated media)를 가능케 하였다. 인터그레이티드 미디어는 통합적 미디어에 의한 정보 전달방법으로 인간의 정보 전달 체계와 가장 유사한 형태로 발전되어 왔다. 따라서 인터페이스 분야에서도 형태적인 발전에 따라 인간과 컴퓨터의 상호작용(Human Computer Interaction)이라는 중요한 테마로 발전하였다. 인터페이스의 형태적 발전은 디자인 분야에서도 재정립되고 있지만 많은 분야의 동시 접목과 제품개발에 있어 체계성 부족으로 활용이 지체되고 있다. 본 연구는 MP3 자판기 개발 사례를 바탕으로 정보전달 형태 개발을 위한 요소들을 재구성함으로써 인터페이스의 새로운 모델을 구축하기 위한 시도이다. 체계적인 분류를 위하여 인터페이스를 인지적인 면과 조형적인 면을 분류하고, 하드웨어와 소프트웨어로 분류하여 누구나 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 정립하였으며, 결과적으로 새로운 통합적 인터페이스(Integrated Interface)의 패러다임(Paradigm)을 제시함으로써 디자인의 새로운 방향 즉 통합적 아이덴티티를 구축을 위한 기본 틀을 제시하였다.

항해시스템은 통합항해시스템(INS 또는 IBS)을 중심으로 운항과 관련된 시스템과 장비들이 통합되고 있고, 추진시스템은 통합제어감시시스템(ICMS, IPMS, IMCS 등)을 중심으로 추진제어, 전력제어, 기타 제어시스템 등이 통합되고 있다. 본 논문은 선박의 통합화와 관련하여 선박에서 사용되는 다양한 인터페이스를 네트워크 기반으로 통합시켜주며, 네트워크를 통해 전송된 신호를 다양한 인터페이스를 갖는 장비에 제공해 주기 위해 개발된 통합연동시스템에 대한 설계 및 구현결과를 기술하고 있다.

The development of IT technology makes the functions and services of robots be integrated, and thus the robots become more intelligent and useful. As sophisticated usage of robots has evolved, direct communication by human language is necessary to increase the efficiency of their usage. In this paper, we propose a conversational interface platform for integrated service robots using MS Robotics Studio. The proposed platform consists of three types of components: a conversation manager to control the flows of the integrated service robots, a user interface to interact with users, and multiple service robots to perform actions or services. For a test-bed of the proposed platform, we build a schedule manager system and confirm the usability through SUS subject test by comparing the schedule manager system with MS Outlook.

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)/Inertial Navigation System (INS) integrated navigation systems provide highly accurate and reliable navigation solutions and are widely used as civil and military navigation systems. In order to facilitate the GNSS/INS integrated navigation system development task, a simulator can be used to provide inputs for the GNSS/INS integrated navigation system. In this paper, a simulator design using general-purpose Personal Computer (PC) and Off-The-Shelf (OTS) interface boards for a GNSS/INS integrated navigation system is proposed and implementation results are presented. Requirements of the GNSS/INS integrated navigation system simulator are presented and a design method that satisfies the requirements is described. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed design method, a simulator using a general-purpose PC and OTS interface boards for the GPS/INS integrated navigation system are implemented and verified. The implementation results show that the simulator designed by the proposed method generates the GPS L1 C/A signal and IMU data without any problems.

모바일 장치는 공급업체에 따라 다양한 운영체제와 개발 플랫폼을 가지고 있다. 이로 인해 유저인터페이스 설계 시 각각의 환경에 따라 소프트웨어를 개발해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 모바일 환경에 독립적인 유저인터페이스를 개발하기 위한 통합 플랫폼 4A DUOS를 제안한다. 제안하는 플랫폼은 다양한 운영체제에 구애받지 않는 웹언어를 사용하였으며, 유저인터페이스 설계의 편의성을 높이는 API 및 컴포넌트들을 온라인으로 제공한다. 또한 제작된 유저인터페이스는 서버에 탑재되어 사용자에게 서비스를 실시한다. 따라서 사용자는 제안하는 플랫폼을 사용하여 하나의 소스만으로도 다양한 모바일 장치에 종속되지 않는 유저인터페이스를 설계할 수 있다.

An haptic tactile interface (HTI) is presented with its modeling. Its design is dedicated to perform friction coefficient measurement to characterize reachable feelings with that kind of interface. Friction measurements are presented and discussed.

This paper will describe integrated system design process and its application. Integrated design process is performed activities concurrently and sequentially for product development. For a group of activities to be truly integrated, the flow of deliverables among them must be well defined, and committed to. For this purpose, the study will suggest procedure that is executed context analysis of standard process, interface definition from activity decomposition, integration of related activities, and definition of concurrency & sequential activities flow, This procedure and method will contribute to minimize time loss that is emerged from activities iteration by not definitely definition of activities interface.

Current subway station's office employee must perform safety management tasks by monitoring the various safety management systems. But these monitoring systems are limited in effective situational awareness and response to a state of emergency immediately. It is necessary to develop an integrated safety management system display. In this study, we developed subway station safety management system's (CCTV, fire detection & alarm system, screen door control equipment) integrated prototype display with ecological interface design framework and evaluated prototype display interface's usability with GOMS model. The result was that the ecological interface's performance was better than existing safety management system's interface.

현재 유비쿼터스 서비스를 제공하기 위해 GPS(Global Positioning System), RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) 및 센서 네트워크를 이용한 개별 미들웨어 및 인터페이스를 개발하고 있다. GPS는 주로 위치기반 서비스에, RFID를 식별을 통한 유통 물류 서비스에, 센서 노드는 온도, 습도, 기압 등의 상황 정보 수집에 응용되고 있다. 최근에 2 또는 3개의 이들 요소들이 농축산, 건설, 의료 등의 다양한 분야에 응용하면서 GPS, RFID 및 센서 노드를 통합하는 인터페이스 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 RFID, GPS, 센서 네트워크에서 수집된 상황데이터를 통합 처리하는 공통 인터페이스를 구현하고 실험을 통해 동작을 확인한다. 이 인터페이스는 필터링, 파싱, 인터페이스 관리, 큐잉, 하드웨어 및 미들웨어 접근 기능 등의 효율적인 데이터 처리 기능을 구현하고 동작을 검증한다. 그리고 GPS, RFID 및 센서 노드를 수집된 상황 데이터를 결합한 통합 프레임 구조를 제시하고, 복합형 유비쿼터스 응용 시스템에 제공되는 개방형 인터페이스를 제공하는 것을 확인한다. 이를 통하여 RFID, GPS, 센서 네트워크를 통해 얻어진 상황 데이터도 효과적으로 처리하여 다양한 유비쿼터스 응용 서비스에게 제공할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
