  • Research on ISA(Integrated Starter/Alternator) receives wide attention as system voltage is increased to 42V Based on requirement of starter and alternator for the conventional vehicle, system requirement and specification are determined. Also to control proposed system, suitable control methods are proposed. Main control issues with ISA are whether torque assist is required and if so how much torque is needed. In this paper, vehicle performance with various control methods and capacity are simulated and simulation results are analyzed. Vehicle performance is analyzed with vehicle simulator. For the simulation, suitable ISA model is also developed.

  • An Integrated Dynamics Control system with four wheel Steering (IDCS) is proposed and analysed in this study. It integrates and controls steer angle of front and rear wheel simultaneously to enhance lateral stability and steerability. An active front steer (AFS) system and an active rear steer (ARS) system are also developed to compare their performances. The systems are evaluated during brake maneuver and several road conditions are used to test the performances. The results showed that IDCS vehicle follows the reference yaw rate and reduces side slip angle very well. AFS and ARS vehicles track the reference yaw rate but they can not reduce side slip angle. On split-${\mu}$ road, IDCS controller forces the vehicle to go straight ahead but AFS and ARS vehicles show lateral deviation from centerline.

실시간 통합제어기법을 이용한 차량전자화 설계 (Vetronics Design Using Realtime Integrated Control Techniques)

  • The vetronics is necessarily required for enhancement of the operational capability and optimization of the system architecture. In this paper, we presents the realtime control methods for the vetronics of the fighting vehicles. We proposed the data distribution based on standard bus and computer resource for realtime and integrated control of the system. Embedded computers are designed considering extensibility and reliability of the system. The integrated display improves the operator's capability. We applied the network centric battle management and digital power control with intelligent switching elements to increase cooperated combat efficiency and reliability. To show the feasibility of the presented design schemes, the vetronics has been implemented and applied to a real fighting vehicle.

  • 배치 플랜트 현장에서 사용되는 최상의 품질 콘크리트 제작을 위해 모래, 자갈, 시멘트, 물 및 강섬유 등의 주배합 비율을 최적으로 조절하기 위한 다양한 측정과 제어 장치가 필요하다. 현재는 저울, 인디게이터 및 PLC 등의 부품으로 구성되어 있다. 따라서 작업 초보자가 사용하기에는 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 모든 기능이 하나로 통합되게 PCB 기판을 사용한 하드웨어와 이를 제어하는 소프트웨어를 탑재한 비전문가도 사용하기 편리한 통합 제어 시스템을 개발하였다.

  • In this paper, we standardized the water operation system picture, process control logic, realtime database and system configuration. All aspects, including monitoring & controlling processes, symbols such as pumps, valves and pipes were standardized. As a result we have developed a specialized Integrated water operation system, iWater. We have developed a variety of advanced application programs that are essential for water treatment systems, such as IWS (Integrated Warning system), MBO(modbus opc)/LSE(LS ethernet) driver, video monitoring, self diagnosis system, network monitoring, etc. IWS prevents water supply accidents by using a variety of alarms and warning messages. Drivers have the flexibility to communicate with other 3rd party systems. We expect that iWater will eliminate any concerns regarding water-related issues while also promoting the production and fair distribution of clean water.

장애인용 엘리베이터의 통합 군관리제어시스템 방안 연구 (A Study on Integrated Group Control System for the Disabled Elevators)

  • 건물에 복수개의 엘리베이터가 설치되어질 때 각 엘리베이터의 불필요한 이동으로 인한 에너지 손실을 줄이고 승객의 요구에 따라 적절한 층에 카를 할당하는 제어를 엘리베이터 군관리제어라고 한다. 그러나 장애인용 엘리베이터는 3대 이상이 군관리제어가 될 경우 어느 호기가 호출될지를 예측할 수 없으므로 장애인들의 편의를 보장하기 위하여 국내의 관련 기준에 따라 군관리방식이 제한되며 적용될 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 개선방안으로서 일반 엘리베이터와 장애인용 엘리베이터를 통합한 군관리제어 방식을 제안하였으며 기존의 분리된 운영방식과 비교하여 호출 후 대기시간 16.9 % 감소의 효율성을 검증해 보았고, 장애인용 엘리베이터는 선택적으로 독립운행이 되도록 함으로써 승강기 검사기준과 보건복지부의 유권해석 모두에 위배되지 않고 효율을 극대화할 수 있는 개선된 통합 군관리제어 시스템임을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 입증하였다.

  • Today, the need for more flexible and adaptive production system and integrated management of their manufacturing information and facilities is ever increasing to cope with competitive and ever-changing global market environments and complexity of new control systems. This paper presents the whole system architecture and the technological characteristics of for each individual system layer which are able to flexibly integrate and manage high-speed and high-precision machining systems. It is investigated that monitoring and integrated management of the control systems can be realized with consideration of detailed information of various CNCs, and the management function may be easily constructed and extended using components of the manufacturing execution layer.

나로호 질소가스 추력기시스템 자세제어기 설계 및 종합성능시험 (Controller Design and Integrated Performance Tests on Nitrogen-Gas Reaction Control System of KSLV-I)

  • 본 논문에서는 나로호 질소가스 추력기시스템에 대한 자세제어기 설계 과정과 종합성능 시험에 대해 다루고 있다. 발사체의 비행 안정성을 보장하도록 추력기 자세제어기 설계를 수행하는 데 있어서 반드시 고려해야 할 주요 사항들에 대해 살펴보고 관계식을 제시하였다. 나로호 질소가스추력기 시스템에 대한 시스템레벨 종합성능시험을 위한 시험구성과 시험조건 등을 정리하였고, 성능시험 데이터로부터 추력기 시스템의 가스 소모량, 추력, 시간 지연, 비추력 특성 등의 운용 성능과 추력기 자세제어기의 비행 적합성 평가가 가능함을 보였다. 최종적으로, 1차 비행시험 결과를 통해, 나로호 탑재 추력기 자세제어시스템이 충분한 안정성 여유을 가지고 정상적으로 동작하였음을 보였다.

  • Traditional statistical process control(SPC) applied to discrete part industry in the form of control charts can look for and eliminate assignable causes by process monitoring. On the other hand, engineering process control(EPC) applied to the process industry in the form of feedback control can maintain the process output on the target by continual adjustment of input variable. This study presents controlling and monitoring rules adopted variable sampling interval(VSI) to change sampling intervals in a predetermined fashion on the predicted process levels for integrated EPC and SPC systems. Twelve rules classified by EPC schemes(MMSE, constrained PI, bounded or deadband adjustment policy) and type of sampling interval combined with EWMA chart of SPC are proposed under IMA(1,1) disturbance model and zero-order (responsive) dynamic system. The properties of twelve control rules under three patterns of process change(sudden shift, drift and random shift) are evaluated and discussed through simulation and control rules for integrated VSI EPC and SPC systems are recommended.

Integrated Design of Rotary UAV Guidance and Control Systems Utilizing Sliding Mode Control Technique

  • In this paper, the Integrated Guidance and Control (IGC) law is proposed for the Rotary Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (RUAV). The objective of the IGC law is to consider the nonlinear dynamic characteristics of the RUAV and to design a guidance law which takes into consideration the nonlinear relationship between kinematics and dynamics. In order to control the RUAV system, sliding mode control scheme is adopted. As the RUAV is an under-actuated system, a slack variable approach is used to generate the available control inputs. Through the Lyapunov stability theorem, the stability of the proposed IGC law is proved. In order to verify the performance of the IGC law, numerical simulations are performed for waypoint tracking missions.
