Design and Implementation of Wireless Lighting LED Controller using Modbus TCP for a Ship (Modbus TCP를 이용한 선박용 무선 LED 제어기의 설계 및 구현)

  • As a serial communications protocol, Modbus has become a practically standard communication protocol and is now a commonly available means of connecting industrial electronic devices. Therefore, all devices can be connected using the Modbus protocol with the measurement and remote control on ships, buildings, trains, airplanes and more. The existing Modbus that has been used is based on serial communication. Modbus TCP uses Ethernet communication based on TCP / IP which is the most widely used Internet protocol today; so, it is faster than serial communication and can be connected to the Internet of Things. In this paper, we designed an algorithm to control LED lighting in a wireless Wi-Fi environment using the Modbus TCP communication protocol, and designed and implemented a LED controller circuit that can check external environmental factors and control remotely through the integrated management system of a ship. Temperature, humidity, current and illuminance values, which are external environmental factors, are received by the controller through the sensors, and these values are communicated to the ship's integrated management system via the Modbus protocol. The Modbus can be connected to Master devices via TCP communication to monitor temperature, humidity, current, illuminance status and LED output values, and also users can change the RGB value remotely in order to change to the desired color. In addition, in order to confirm the implementation of the controller, we developed a simulated ship management system to monitor the temperature, humidity, current and illumination conditions, and change the LED color of the controller by changing the RGB value remotely.

  • 본 연구에서는 2009년부터 5년간의 해양사고 유형별 원인분석을 통하여 사고의 주요 원인에 대해 분석하였고, 국내외 해양안정정보 사례에 대한 분석 및 국내 항해환경정보 제공 활용의 문제점과 국외 사례로부터의 시사점 도출을 통하여, 사고저감에 대한 대책으로 항해환경에 대한 정보의 통합 필요성, 이용자 정보중심의 정보제공의 필요성 등을 제안하였으며, 항해관련 안전정보들의 통합을 통한 이용자 중심의 배분을 위한 가칭 '통합 항해환경 정보제공시스템'을 제안하였다.

  • 자동차 블랙박스는 자동차의 사고 전/후의 주행상태를 저장하여 사고의 원인을 규명하는데 사용된다. 사고 발생 시의 자동차의 주행상태를 정확히 기록하기 위해서는 자동차의 위치와 속도에 대한 정보도 필요하므로 자동차 블랙박스에서는 위치/속도 정보를 제공하기 위한 항법 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 GPS 수신기와 MEMS 기반의 IMU를 사용하는 자동차 블랙박스용 항법 시스템을 설계하고 그에 대한 성능평가 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

  • A multi-filter fusion technique is proposed and this technique is applied to the INS/GPS integrated system. IIR-type EKF and FIR-type RHKF filter are fused to provide the advantages of these filters based on the adaptive mixing probability calculated by the residuals and the residual covariance matrices of the filters. In the INS/GPS, this fusion filter can provide more robust navigation information than the conventional stand-alone filter.

  • GPS/INS/지자기 컴파스 통합 항법 시스템에서 지자기 컴파스의 이상 검출 방법을 제안하였다. 지자기 컴파스의 이상은 Hard iron과 Soft iron 효과에 의하여 발생하므로 이와 관련된 값을 통합 필터 측정치의 시험 통계치로 이용하여 검출하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법의 효용성을 모의 실험과 차량 실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

  • 무인 항공기는 지상 조종 또는 자동 비행으로 원격제어, 각종 정찰, 수송, 및 공격 등의 다양한 임무를 수행할 수 있는 비행체 및 이를 포함한 시스템을 의미한다. 무인기의 자율 운항을 위해서는 위치, 속도 및 자세 등의 항법 정보를 제공하는 항법 시스템이 반드시 필요하며 크기가 작은 무인기를 위해서는 탑재체의 중량이 적은 항법 시스템이 반드시 필요하다. 최근에는 반도체 MEMS 기술을 이용한 저가형 관성 센서들이 많이 개발 되고 있으며 이를 이용한 소형, 저전력, 고정밀 항법 시스템들이 많이 연구 개발되고 있다. GPS/AHRS 결합 시스템은 자세각, 각속도, 가속도 정보 및 GPS를 이용한 위치, 슥도 정보 제공이 가능한 시스템으로 비행체의 자율비행을 위한 정보 제공이 가능한 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 MEMS 센서를 기반으로한 GPS/AHRS 결합 항법 시스템 설계하고 차량을 이용하여 성능을 평가한 결과를 보여준다.

  • Location-Based Services can be defined as services that integrated a mobile network device's position with other information so as to provide added value to users. One of the most important elements in the LBS is the ability to locate objects. In this paper, the positioning techniques using radio signal were introduced, and the positioning principles and accuracies for LBS of smart phone were analyzed. As a result, the some techniques for improving user security were suggested.

UGV Localization using Multi-sensor Fusion based on Federated Filter in Outdoor Environments (야지환경에서 연합형 필터 기반의 다중센서 융합을 이용한 무인지상로봇 위치추정)

  • This paper presents UGV localization using multi-sensor fusion based on federated filter in outdoor environments. The conventional GPS/INS integrated system does not guarantee the robustness of localization because GPS is vulnerable to external disturbances. In many environments, however, vision system is very efficient because there are many features compared to the open space and these features can provide much information for UGV localization. Thus, this paper uses the scene matching and pose estimation based vision navigation, magnetic compass and odometer to cope with the GPS-denied environments. NR-mode federated filter is used for system safety. The experiment results with a predefined path demonstrate enhancement of the robustness and accuracy of localization in outdoor environments.

  • Among the various type of accelerometer, the servo rebalancing type accelermoter can be suitable for Inertial Navigation System, because of its high sensitivity and good response in low frequency. In this paper, we proposed a new technology to control inductive tuype accelerometer utilizing digital PWM method. The new developed digital PWM control has special design scheme for transmitting measurement value to outer device in its servo ollp. So it has no quantized error of transforming outputs of sensors to digital domain. The quantized error may make serious problem in INS system, because outputs of sensor are integrated once or twice by digital computer and it happens every sensor reading times. Therefore, in order to get the accurate information such as displacement, it is necessary to measure accurately the input current. In addition, Digital Signal Processing needs digital data transmission, digital PWM method is adaptive for this purpose. We realized a practical circuit for digital PWM control, analyzed the stability of the circuit, and designed the controller etc. In this study, we solved many practical problem for this application, and got out good results.

  • Since, Davis(1991) has proposed the TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) through a literature review of informatization promotion, which insists that a user conveniency is judged by the degree of effectiveness caused by IT, the advancement of IT such as the Internet, e-mail, electronic data exchange, and groupware have brought into various changes in ordinary corporations and public institutions. However, with the right function, the advancement of IT has provided various benefits including additional reverse functions. Based on an integrated environment of business process, unauthorized user could access to information and a management of information becomes more difficult than before due to informatization of critical information. Furthermore, external hacking or information leakage by insider becomes easier owing to advancement in communication technology. This study has tried to develop a specified management procedure and implementation method for confidential documents.
