Design and Implementation of Network Management System for Integrated Management of IP based Subscriber Networks (IP기반 가입자망 통합관리를 위한 망관리 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • Internet Service Subscribers Network has a new role of providing various multimedia services to the home. However, there exist several types of distributed subscriber networks using Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL), Very high-bit rate Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL), and Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications (DOCSIS). The efficient and concentrated network management of those several distributed subscribers networks with resources requires the general network information model, which has and conceptional managed objects independent of type of network and its equipment to manage the integrated subscriber network. This paper presents the general Internet subscribers network model of the managed object to manage that network in the form of integrated hierarchy. This paper adopts the object-oriented development methodology with UML and designs and implements the integrated subscribers NMS of cable data network and VDSL network as examples of the subscriber networks.

  • 네트워크 관리 시스템이란 네트워크의 효율성과 생산성을 최대화하기 위해 복잡한 네트워크를 관찰, 통제하는 시스템이다. 네트워크에서 발생한 장애의 위치와 그 원인을 신속히 파악하고 그에 대응할 수 있는 능력의 제공은 네트워크 운영의 필수조건이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 네트워크는 서로 다른 환경과 여러 회사에서 생산한 제품으로 구성됨에 따라 관리상의 상호연동(Interoperability)문제가 발생할 수 있으므로 이러한 문제를 해결하고 네트워크의 효율적 관리를 위한 네트워크 관리 표준 프로토콜을 적용한 프로토타입의 시스템을 개발하였다.

  • This paper proposes an integrated mobile sink networks management system which can monitor and control various kinds of wireless lan access points, located in many different areas divided by their managing groups, from multi-vendors, and their operations in networks. The proposed system has the center-local interoperability structure cooperating with local-center servers which can perform the same operations as the central servers for wireless lan access points from multi-vendors and wireless lan centric management features. For this purpose, we propose a new way of data design, messaging policy, and hierarchical system structure such that we can achieve stable and consistent management methods for various wireless access points on distributed networks.

Electromagnetic design and optimization of the multi-segment dielectric-loaded accelerating tube using genetic algorithm

  • A low-energy dielectric loaded accelerator with a non-uniform, multi-segment structure is studied and optimized. So far, no analytical solution is provided for such structures. Also, due to the existing nonlinear behavior and a large number of geometric parameters, the problem of numerical optimizations is complex. For this reason, a method is presented to design and optimize such structures using the Genetic Algorithm (GA). Moreover, the GA output results are compared with Trust Region (TR) and Nelder-Mead Simplex (NMS) methods. Comparative results show that the GA is more efficient in achieving optimization goals and also has a higher speed than the two other methods. Finally, an optimized accelerating tube is integrated into a proper coupler. Then, the accelerator is simulated for full electromagnetic investigations using the CST suite of codes. This design leads to a structure with a power of about 80 kW in the X-band, which delivers electrons to the output energy in the range of 300-459 kV. The length and outer diameter of the accelerating tube obtained are 10 cm and 1 cm, respectively.

  • The hand over between different radio access networks, especially where their coverage overlaps, suffers various complications since the different access networks provide different service characteristics. In this paper, it is about the system which can control the wireless LAN network management system and the wireless LAN access point of variety vendor which is in different areas. Successful development of mobile sink wireless LAN network management system which supports multi-vendor devices and have center-local interoperability structure. In proposed system, speed of the mobile station give about 10% improvement when the map domain size is 5 than the existing system. Through a data plane and management system of message way, it give a stability system and consistency network.

  • Recently, public home have used a more than two computer connected with network, and several home appliances using independently with internet or network are developing to be related closely with the network. Therefore, the home utilized for a simple terminal of the global network in the past is being expanded to another part of the sub network. For a variety of connecting home-area protocols with the existing existing network, we require a new Residential Gateway(RG) that does not only make the home-area network operating in the sub network but also connects to the external network. In this paper, RG has intrinsic limits against flexible service due to IP address assignment and hardware capacity. In order to solve this problem in the RG, we propose a Management Server(MS). The MS that offers the integrated managements and control services for a variety of devices connected the RG in the home-area. It can not only solve the dynamic IP address assigning problem but also assigns private IP addresses to the home network devices through the Network Address Translation(NAT). It also provides somewhat useful functions for the home network and the RG for other additional services. <중략> The MS is using a SNMP protocol for managing the RG in the domain, a polling method of the MS and the RG compose a sequence polling method, a polling method using a multi-process and a multi-thread. In this paper, we introduce a problem with polling method separately, show a polling method between the MS and the RG using a multi-thread.
