In this paper, quality properties and antioxidant capacity of cooked black carrot has been studied. Five different cooking methods have been applied: microwave (45 sec), boiling ($100^{\circ}C$, 14 min), steaming ($100^{\circ}C$, 20 min), sous vide ($75^{\circ}C$, 80 min), sous-vide ($95^{\circ}C$, 30 min). The color value was slightly different (p<0.05), the boiling method was the highest in L-value and Sous vide $75^{\circ}C$ method was the lowest. The steaming method indicated the highest a-value at 5.50. The b-value was significantly different between the samples (p<0.05). The microwave method was the highest at 3.49 while the sous vide $95^{\circ}C$ method was the lowest at -0.34. No significant difference was observed between the samples when only the moisture content results were considered. The highest pH was observed in samples cooked using the boiling method. The softening (%) was higher when the cooking water was in contact with samples and it was dependent on the temperatures. In addition, this study shows that not only temperature but also cooking time and cooking media are very crucial in the preparation and cooking of black carrot to prevent the loss of the antioxidant compound. In conclusion, the comparison of the quality characteristics and antioxidant properties of black carrots indicated that the most appropriate cooking method is sous-vide method.

In case that any jobs in a Job Shop can be scheduled on more than one machine and may have flexible operation sequences, with considering such case it is very difficult and complex to make the optimal process plans and scheduling. But they should be considered for an integrated model to perform more effective process planning and scheduling in this job shop problem. In this paper, we propose GA-based scheduling method to integrate effectively the problem of alternative machines, alternative operation sequences and scheduling. The performance of proposed GA is evaluated through comparing integrated scheduling with not integrated scheduling in molding company with alternative machines and operation sequences. Also, we use benchmark problems to evaluate performance. The scheduling method in this research will apply usefully to real world scheduling problems.

국립중앙박물관에 IPM(Integrated pest management) 방법을 도입하게 된 가장 중요한 이유는 보다 효율적이면서 경제적이고 안전한 해충 피해 방지를 위해서이다. 먼저 곤충 모니터링을 통해 현재 박물관의 해충분포 및 종류, 상태, 유입경로 등을 확인한 후 적합한 대책을 세워 보다 안전하면서도 합리적인 방제방법을 찾도록 하였다.

This study investigated the relationship between musical understanding and expression, the purpose of music education. It also intended to present the theoretical basis of integrated early childhood music education by examining into the necessity of it as a method to help young children with musical understanding and expression. The results of the study showed that either of the understanding and expression of music should be necessary and there is a mutual promotional relationship between them. It was found out that real musical understanding can be formed not by mechanical skill, but when the relationship between notes is understood with various experiences. Therefore an integrated early childhood music education became necessary as a principle of educational method to help young children with musical understanding and musical expression. Concretely it was found out to be necessary in terms of the characteristics, interest and concern of young children, the use and development of multi intelligence and the translation of the same knowledge into the same level.

The focus of this study is to represent a methodology of analysis for integrated logistic system by means of the Evolution Strategies and Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA). The integrated logistic system is composed of AS/RS (Automated Storages and Retrieval System), AGVs(Automated Guided Vehicle System) and Conveyor System. We design the simulation alternatives with choosing the qualitative critical factors for the each subsystem. Evolution Strategies is used to optimize the quantitative critical factors and responses of each alternative. DEA is applied to measure the efficiency of the alternatives in order to select the optimal operation efficiency scheme. The method of analysis which combines Evolution Strategies with DEA can be used to analyze the qualitative and quantitative critical factors in the integrated logistic systems.

The passive type RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) System using Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) tag at 900 MHz in the range of more than 1 m was fabricated. To improve interrogation range of the system propose a method to increase isolation between transmitter and receiver. This method using a direct conversion architecture achieves a leakage rejection of 10 dB increased compared with conventional system. Measured interrogation range is more than 1 m.

본 논문에서는 대규모 종합감시시스템 환경에서 비디오의 특징을 분석하여 비디오가 촬영되는 환경에 적합한 지능형 영상분석 알고리즘 선택 기준을 제안하였다. 대규모 종합감시시스템 환경의 예로 도시철도 감시시스템을 사용하였다. 본 시스템에 설치된 카메라에 입력되는 비디오의 특징을 위치와 용도 및 상황별로 분석하였다. 분석을 기반으로 하여 적합한 비디오 감시 알고리즘을 선택하는 기준을 제시하였으며 상황 처리 시나리오를 제시하였다.

A coverglass pattern was designed to improve the annual electrical energy production of a building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) module installed in the exterior walls of buildings. The transmittance pattern was calculated using ray tracing, and the results were derived by optimizing the simulation using Taguchi's method. We obtained the optimal pattern by analyzing the conventional patterns for improving the transmittance and derived design factors by quantifying the pattern. By calculating the influence of electrical energy on each design factor, we obtained the optimal coverglass pattern that produced the maximum annual electrical energy. The annual electrical energy production improved by approximately 11.79% compared to the non-patterned coverglass.

As the technologies for telecommunication have been evolving, more enhanced information services and integrated information systems have been introduced, which can manage a variety of information from the heterogeneous systems. The major obstacle for the integrated information systems is the integrating heterogeneous databases in the systems and the heterogeneity problems can be classified into the structural and data heterogeneities. However, the previous researches have mainly highlighted into the solving structural heterogeneity problems. This paper identifies the data heterogeneity problems for multi-database schema integrations and proposes a new solving method. We analyze the semantics equivalence in data values based on the functional dependency, primary and candidate keys, and present a procedural solution of data heterogeneity in the perspective of the concept of attribute equivalence, integration key and conceptual integration table.
