통합전산환경 구축$\cdot$운영을 위한 개념적 모형 개발 (Development of the Conceptual Model of Constructing and Operating the Integrated Computing Environment)

  • As the amount of informatization investment is rapidly increasing in many organizations, it becomes more inevitable to manage computing resources (information systems, computing facilities and manpower etc.) effectively. Specially, in public sector It is thought to be very important to achieve the economy of scale by integrating computing resources which are managed individually in many agencies. Also, our government have been recently making much efforts to raise the effectiveness of operating the information systems by promoting joint information use among many public agencies, enhancing the operating systems and the expertise of IS staff and applying the optimal information security systems. This study focuses on presenting the framework to effectively integrate omputing resources and proposing the ways of constructing and operating the integrated computing environment for the institutions and the affiliated groups under the Ministry of Culture & Tourism which are in charge of implementing cultural informatization. The main implications of this study are 1) building the ideal model of the integrated computing environment architecture suitable to cultural informatization area, 2) showing the criteria of deciding whether the organizations use the Integrated computing environment or not and how extensively they commit their computing resources to it, and 3) suggesting the ways of the phased integration and the change management to minimize confusion in the process of adopting the integrated computing environment and behavioral problems such as conflict and resistance of IS-related Personnel Influenced by Implementing the integrated computing environment.

  • 기업의 computing process에서는 기업의 주요업무 및 전략을 분석 정의하여 이것을 computing resource에 실행한다. 이를 위하여, 일반적으로, 여러 개발자들이 공유개발환경을 통하여 프로세스를 개발하고 이를 운영한다. 현재 Enterprise Computing Environment에서는 Grid Computing이 필연적 과제이다. Grid Computing에서, Grid Portal은 통합사용자인터페이스를 제공하여 주는 중요한 요소이다. 그러나, 현재의 대부분의 Grid Portal들은 Job Submit 처리를 중점적으로 구현하는데 주력하고 있기 때문에, 기업 computing process의 중요한 요소인 통합적 개발환경에 대한 지원이 부족하다. 본 연구에서는, 이런 부족한 부분을 개선하여, Enterprise Grid 환경을 위한 통합개발환경의 Grid Portal의 모델을 제안한다.

Global Manager - A Service Broker In An Integrated Cloud Computing, Edge Computing & IoT Environment

  • The emergence of technologies like Big data analytics, Industrial Internet of Things, Internet of Things, and applicability of these technologies in various domains leads to increased demand in the underlying execution environment. The demand may be for compute, storage, and network resources. These demands cannot be effectively catered by the conventional cloud environment, which requires an integrated environment. The task of finding an appropriate service provider is tedious for a service consumer as the number of service providers drastically increases and the services provided are heterogeneous in the specification. A service broker is essential to find the service provider for varying service consumer requests. Also, the service broker should be smart enough to make the service providers best fit for consumer requests, ensuring that both service consumer and provider are mutually beneficial. A service broker in an integrated environment named Global Manager is proposed in the paper, which can find an appropriate service provider for every varying service consumer request. The proposed Global Manager is capable of identification of parameters for service negotiation with the service providers thereby making the providers the best fit to the maximum possible extent for every consumer request. The paper describes the architecture of the proposed Global Manager, workflow through the proposed algorithms followed by the pilot implementation with sample datasets retrieved from literature and synthetic data. The experimental results are presented with a few of the future work to be carried out to make the Manager more sustainable and serviceable.

클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경을 위한 상황인식 보안 시스템 (Context-Aware Security System for Cloud Computing Environment)

  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 환경에서 인증 및 접근 제어와 같은 여러 보안 이슈가 발생하고 있다. 특히, 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 다양한 자원에 접속을 할 경우, 통합적으로 관리 및 제어가 가능한 인증 및 접근제어 모델이 필요하다. 이를 해결하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 상황인식 기술과 통합인증 기술, 접근제어 기술, OSGi 서비스 플랫폼 기술을 접목하여, 상황인식 기반의 통합 인증(SSO) 및 접근제어 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 제안 시스템을 설계 및 구현함으로써, 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 상황에 따른 다양한 Multi Fact기반의 통합인증을 통하여 유연하고, 편리한 보안 시스템을 검증하였다. 이를 통하여 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용자 상황에 따라, 유연하고, 안전한 무중단 보안 서비스를 제공할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스의 표준화 작업을 위해 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스에 대한 유즈 케이스와 요구사항 연구가 이루어지고 있지만 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경의 운영 방법에 대한 연구 자체는 미비하다. 본 논문은 IaaS 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경의 운영 방법을 기존의 통합보안관리시스템과 연계하여 제안한다. CloudStack 2.2.4 테스트베드를 활용하여 IaaS 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경을 구축한 SWU-IaaS 클라우드 구조를 먼저 제안한다. 이러한 SWU-IaaS 클라우드 운영을 통해 IaaS 클라우드의 계층적인 구조와 구성요소들에 대한 속성 및 기능을 도출한다. 아울러 IaaS 클라우드 서비스를 정상(normal)적인 상태와 비정상(abnormal)적인 상태로 구분하여 각각의 시나리오를 제시한 후 통합보안 관리시스템으로부터 전달되는 보안 이벤트에 대하여 IaaS 클라우드 서비스의 운영 시나리오를 제안한다.

  • A mobile computing environment has many difference in character from conventional communication over wired network. These include very presents distributed design system based the mobile agent for mobile computing environment. To integrate design resource, we presented ISA(Integration Service Agent, which allows a designer to build integrated application using distributed resources, and to collaborative by exchanging service. Also we propose ICM(XML based Intelligent Connection Manger) using mobile agent. And suggested new intelligent data and process transfer architecture using ICM to implement an agent based design system in mobile environment.

중소건설사를 위한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반 EHS 통합관리시스템 프레임워크 개발 (The Framework Development of Cloud Computing-based Integrated EHS Management System for Small and Medium Construction Companies)

  • The small and medium construction companies are facing potential EHS(Environment, Health & Safety) of major accidents to cause casualties or a financial loss and increasing social responsibility. So, they have to voluntarily accomplish the EHS management system rather than passively with regard to EHS regulation. In this study, the framework of integrated EHS management system is developed based on cloud computing, and construction companies are to materialize self-regulation EHS process of construction workplace and to standardize the total EHS business process using the developed system. The proposed system also provides risk analysis, education/control and continuous improvement for EHS tasks and users can easily access the system on the web at a low price through cloud computing service. Eventually, the integrated system contributes to the managerial improvement by minimizing economic and physical loss caused by construction accidents.

A Enhanced Security Model for Cloud Computing in SSO Environment

  • Cloud computing is cost-effective in terms of system configuration and maintenance and does not require special IT skills for management. Also, cloud computing provides an access control setting where SSO is adopted to secure user convenience and availability. As the SSO user authentication structure of cloud computing is exposed to quite a few external security threats in wire/wireless network integrated service environment, researchers explore technologies drawing on distributed SSO agents. Yet, although the cloud computing access control using the distributed SSO agents enhances security, it impacts on the availability of services. That is, if any single agent responsible for providing the authentication information fails to offer normal services, the cloud computing services become unavailable. To rectify the environment compromising the availability of cloud computing services, and to protect resources, the current paper proposes a security policy that controls the authority to access the resources for cloud computing services by applying the authentication policy of user authentication agents. The proposed system with its policy of the authority to access the resources ensures seamless and secure cloud computing services for users.

  • Many engineering problems often require the large amount of computing resources for iterative simulations of problems treating many parameters and input files. In order to overcome the situation, this paper proposes an e-Science based computational system. The system exploits the Grid computing technology to establish an integrated web service environment which supports distributed high throughput computational simulations and remote executions. The proposed system provides an easy-to-use parametric study service where a computational service includes real time monitoring. To verify usability of the proposed system, two kinds of applications were introduced. The first application is an Aerospace Integrated Research System (e-AIRS). The e-AIRS adapts the proposed computational system to solve CFD problems. The second one is design and optimization of protein 3-dimensional structures.

  • As the concept of Ubiquitous City has become an important issue, we need to have a voice in the field of privacy. The Ubiquitous Computing revolution, it is achieved a physical space and an intelligent union of cyber space in the space where an off-line space was integrated with on-line. It is combined with a life space naturally, and Ubiquitous creates a new integrated space. The space is the opportunity space that is limitless as soon as it is the unknown world that mankind was not able to experience yet. According to the recent papers and studies, Privacy or Personal Information sector is mentioned as a major problem for Ubiquitous Computing Society. Therefore, this paper checks Ubiquitous City, the present privacy concept and situation of currently proceeding Ubiquitous computing environment. Also, The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the concepts privacy, personal information. Thus this paper treated the analysis of case, technological or social issue, problem and solution, competing values of privacy and so on.
