Manufacturing TGV-Korea, international standards and TGV-standards should be strictly applied in order to insure the normal operation and the safety of passengers in a train service. This paper presents a development of 800W DC-DC converter for the reading lamp of TGV-korea. The converter is designed for satisfying the regulations of international standards and TGV-standards regarding the burning-in test, the vibration test, the electro-magnetic emissions test, etc. As an experimental result, the maximum efficiency is obtained as 92.3[%] at normal input voltage and output power.

In this paper, the complex nonlinear dynamics of a satellite is obtained. And it is shown that several limitations exist when the magnetorquer is used as an active actuator to attitude control. Such limitations cause a delayed convergence of pitch and roll angle. The simulation results insure that the roll angle bias is dependent on the z axis spin rate. And a heuristic algorithm is applied to control the attitude libration through the computer simulations.

This paper evaluates the efficiency of Korea National Railroad on the basis of revenues from 1980 to 1999. There was a significant inefficiency in this organization due to operating at an decreasing return to scale area. Although Korean Railroad in 1990s has made a great effort, his performance is still low. Consequently, it is important to insure substantiality of operations than to expand business area in order to finally improve the efficiency, in particular the revenue efficiency, of the Korea Railroad.

A method for designing a robust tracking controller for linear discrete systems is investigated. Only the observable variables are to be used in the controller synthesis. To insure the robustness, the system is augmented by a compensator at the output side. Then a feedback controller is designed using delayed values of the observable variables for the augmented system. The delay times are chosen to minimize the effect of measurement accuracy and/or noise.

In this paper, we explain Production Liability(PL) law and research Protection and Deference of Manufacturing Company for Production Liability Law. As Protection of Manufacturing company for PL law, we suggest company wide strategy and check list of organization of PL, design, manufacturing field, explanatory note, warning and instruct passage, sales and after service etc as TQM(total quality management) strategic. TQM of protect management of PL, which are all systematic manage of company. We also suggest defence of PL law as inside of company and insure PL insurance as outside of company.

According to the construction environmental changes due to the trend of large scale and complicated building construction, many construction methods(such as : TOPDOWN )are more often used. However, it is pointed out that occupational pulmonary diseases, reduction of the machinery lifetime and productivity caused to be narrow visual field and collision between the workers. Therefore, this study is mainly dealing with the views of productivity and safety improvement in order to improve work efficiency and to insure the safety in underground construction environment.

In this paper, we concentrate on the mask design problem for optical micro-lithography. The pre-distorted mask is obtained by minimizing the error between the designed output image and the projected output image. We use the particle swarm optimization(PSO) and fuzzy system to insure that the resulting images are identical to the desired image. Our method has good performance for the iteration number by an experiment.

The use of auxiliary labels in many advanced countries has shown that patients and caregivers understanding, safety and compliance with proper administration of medication is significantly increased. Although in Korea we give required information orally and written on the packaging when we dispense medication, many international studies have demonstrated a marked increase in full compliance when auxiliary labels were used. The pharmacist must insure that the patients understand how to take correctly in order to get the maximum effect of treatment. (omitted)
