  • Adaptive Fuzzy control system is very powerful in nonlinear system, but That system require exactly membership function and parameter. If the membership function and parameter are not exact, the system will generate chattering. Using the Pole assignment compensator can remove the chattering and steepest descent method can reduce the convergence time. In this Paper, this algorithm applicate to the Inverted pendulum, so save proof of algorithm that is to be vigorous.

  • In this paper, the virtual reality system is tried to developed, which controls not only the sense of sight and hearing but also the sense of touch, In order to develope the sense of touch in this study, the stable tactual transaction system, based on summing up the basic algorithm and theory is embodied. Especially, the graphic deformation algorithm is developed in realtime with using the deformed FEM. To apply the FEM, a deformed material model is produced and then the graphic deformation with this model is able to force. Finally, the graphic transaction algorithm is deduced by the realtime calculation and simplification because the purpose of this system is to transact in real time. The result of this study is that the proposed system is possible to deform the graphics and transact the haptic in real time in PC. The simulation program has been made to prove this result.

  • In this paper, the RedMAP, i.e. a redundant Mini-MAP system for high reliability is proposed. Redundancy is implemented for LLC, MAC, and Physical layer of ISL-Mini -MAP. The detection of error of the network, the broadcasting of the error event, and the network change sequence are three major functions for the dualized Mini-MAP system. The abnormal operation of the network is mainly detected indirectly with the function of the TBC( token bus controller). The time delay to be required for the change of the networks must be minimized. With the RedMAP, we can achieve successful transmission only with short additional recovery time.

  • For many soft ground embankment projects , instrumentation programs for stability and settlement management is being essential . This usually leads to generate large volume of data, which can be used for further research. Database technique is most effective method for data management . Data produced by soft ground embankment instrumentation can not be used by itself but must be reproduced using geotechnical analysis technique. In this study, a intelligent database system for softground called IDSIM was developed to examine applicability intellgent database. . The IDSIM analysis instrumentation data automatically and present results by Web/DB interface successfully.

  • In this paper, sliding mode controller for discrete-time nonlinear systems with uncertainties and disturbances are proposed. The concept of time-delay control (TDC) which consists of estimating the uncertain dynamics of the system through past observations of the system response is used. The proposed controller guarantees that the closed-loop system states are globally uniformly ultimately bounded (GUUB). It is also shown that the closed-loop system states are globally uniformly asymptotically stable (GUAS) if uncertainties are constant.

  • In this paper, the virtual-reality system is tried to developed, which controls not only the sense of sight and hearing but also the sense of touch, In order to develope the sense of touch in this study, the stable tactual transaction-system, based on summing up the basic algorithm and theory, is embodied. The hardware of this system consists of the 6DOF haptic interface, a controller and a driver In the case of the software, the proxy algorithm is applied for the force-transaction and the mopping algorithm is used for graphic transaction. In addition to this, the imaginary-device driver is utilized for controlling the system and manager-class is also included in this system to manage the position-change and the like. Consequently, the proxy algorithm Is applied, which makes the system possible to be more stable and prompt with and imaginary object. Moreover, the impulse-algorithm is applied to work out a problem which the tactual transaction-period is different from the graphic transaction-period.

Design of an Optical System for a Space Target Detection Camera

  • In this paper, the details and design process of an optical system for space target detection cameras are introduced. The whole system is divided into three structures. The first structure is a short-focus visible light system for rough detection in a large field of view. The field of view is 2°, the effective focal length is 1,125 mm, and the F-number is 3.83. The second structure is a telephoto visible light system for precise detection in a small field of view. The field of view is 1°, the effective focal length is 2,300 mm, and the F-number is 7.67. The third structure is an infrared light detection system. The field of view is 2°, the effective focal length is 390 mm, and the F-number is 1.3. The visible long-focus narrow field of view and visible short-focus wide field of view are switched through a turning mirror. Design results show that the modulation transfer functions of the three structures of the system are close to the diffraction limit. It can further be seen that the short-focus wide-field-of-view distortion is controlled within 0.1%, the long-focus narrow-field-of-view distortion within 0.5%, and the infrared subsystem distortion within 0.2%. The imaging effect is good and the purpose of the design is achieved.

  • In accordance with increase of electrical power demanded, more efficient supervisory control of distribution system is required. This study contains development of MMI(man-machine-interface) system with GUI(graphic-user-interface), for the automatic power distribution system. The main function of MMI system are to edit network of power distribution, to view network, to warnning a breakdown and to management of data base for network. The GUI function of MMI system enables more efficient management of power distribution system.

  • In this paper, a control system of the PUMA 560 robot manipulator using a PC (Personal Computer) is presented. The hardware of the designed control system is composed of IBM-PC/AT, interface board, selection board, interrupt generating circuit, and the servo control unit of the PUMA controller. A robot control library is developed using assembly and C language, and is composed of several low-level functions and arm interface routines, world model routines, arm kinematics routines, and motion command service routines. Using the designed library, joint interpolated motion and Cartesian interpolated motion of the PUMA robot manipulator are realized. In the future, our system is expected to be a very helpful basis and a useful tool for developing various control algorithms of robot manipulator using sensory information.
