  • This paper is to develop a digital inverter using microcontroller for a Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) driver. The closed-loop speed control system with fixed switching angle and variable voltage control is used to from a flat-topped phaes current and to simplfiy the drive system. This could be driven in a wide speed range with flat-topped current. Mifcrocontroller os used to be compact and to have a flexbility in the control system.

  • This paper discusses study of sensorless control of a variable speed switched reluctance motor (SRM) for electric AC compressors on electrical vehicles. A typical SRM drive requires a position sensor such as an encoder or hall sensor to measure the angular rotor position. However, harsh environment in electrical AC compressors for electric vehicles makes it difficult to use the position sensor in their motor drive system. Therefore, a sensorless control scheme for electric compressor motors utilizing magnetic characteristics of SRM with respect to position angle and phase current is proposed. The overall variable speed SRM drive with position sensorless control scheme has been modeled using Matlab/Simulink software and closed loop current control simulation is presented to validate the proposed sensorless drive control.

  • Generally, the phase control dimmer has been widely used due to simple interface and easy handling. However, the electrical characteristics are not good for the method in which the phase control dimmer cuts the input voltage. This paper has researched about DALI(Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) controller, that is the digital lighting control method, and implemented DALI protocol satisfied with the IEC-62386 standard. In addition, the existing phase control dimmer was used as the controller of DALI and not only individual control but also group control was possible. And the performance was proved to be good by applying our theory to 30[W] LED lighting control system.

Effect of Phase Error on the Lateral Resolution of Reconstruction Image in Incoherent Triangular Holography (인코히어런트 삼각 홀로그래피에서 위상오차가 횡축방향의 해상도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • It is introduced the phase error sources of a incoherent hologram in incoherent triangular holography and derived the reconstruction image of point-source including the phase error in the lateral direction. From the reconstruction image of point-source, we analyzed the effect of phase error on the lateral resolution. When the phase retardation errors and azimuth angle error of a wave plate and a polarizer range from 0 to $2{\pi}/15$, the normalized intensities of reconstructed images are down by about 0.1% and 2.3%, respectively.

  • This paper propose a method to design the rotor of synchronous reluctance motors(SynRM) for maximum torque and power factor by using DOE(design of experiment) with the design variables which are parameters of barriers and segments. In this process, there are problems that require lots of simulation time and number of simulations when calculating the both torque and power factor using the finite element method in order to find load angle, core loss per speed. In order to improve this problem, we calculate only value of flux linkage by finite element method, and can decrease analysis and the number of analysis time by applying steady state expression of the power factor and torque. Finally, in order to verify the characteristics of optimal model, we make prototype motor and compare with the conventional SynRM. In this experiment, we use the DC current decay test for calculating d-and q-axis inductance.

  • The study carried out in this dissertation focuses on the lens structure design and the light distribution for LED safety luminaires using COB type LED module. Lens structures for LED lights has been designed 1) to induce light diffusion by dual process of internal reflection and refraction, 2) to minimize the inherent LED lights' glittering, and 3) to have uniform brightness. The lens designed with the proposed structures function as diffusers for the divergence of the LED lights so that they form a wide angle of view and adjust the light distribution. We designed of lens with stable uniformity factor and average roughness using aspheric optics property. Finally we made the analysis data of the simulated data.

  • Micropile has been widely used for reinforcing general grounds, improving slope stability and structural foundations. However, a need still exists for evaluating the effects of inclined micropiles on shallow foundations in Korea. In this paper, numerical analyses were presented to evaluate settlement characteristics on shallow foundations reinforced by micropiles and the effects of inclined micropiles under various conditions such as the installation position, installation angle, hardness(diameter), and grouting type. In addition, this paper reports trends of effectiveness and efficiency of using inclined micropiles on shallow foundations under specified conditions.

  • I본 연구에서는 마이크로프로세서에 의한 3상 전파 제어정류기의 점호각 제어회로를 설계하였다. 제어회로는 8비트 마이크로프로세서, 점호신호 발생 ROM, Presettable카운터, N분주 카운터와 PLL IC 등으로 구성되어 있다. PLL 원리를 이용하여 주파수 체배회로를 구성하였기 때문에 점호각이 넓은 범위의 전원 주파수에서 제어될 수 있고 간단한 제어알고리즘으로 인해 처리시간이 줄어들므로 빠른 응답특성을 가질 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 기본 동작원리와 회로의 동작 특성에 대하여 설명하였고 좋은 동작 특성을 실험을 통해서 확인하였다. 이러한 동작원리는 싸이클로컨버터, 3상 교류 전압 조정기, dc 서보제어기와 다른 제어 시스템 등에도 적용이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

  • This paper presents a ripple reduction of BLDC motor using TMS320F240. A fault of permanent magnet(PM) BLDC motor possible to miniaturization and high-output is to be difficult to reduce speed-ripple at low speed region. An existing solution is to be use of PWM waveform by PI control with computing control angle of 60$^{\circ}$. The new family of DSP controllers provides a single chip solution by integrating on-chip not only a high computational power but also, all the peripherals necessary for electric motor control. This paper gives an advanced solution of the SVPWM technique for the purpose of reducing control angel rather than 60$^{\circ}$. This technique gives an excellent speed ripple characteristic.

View angle change of LED by micro sphere (마이크로 스피어에 의한 LED 지향각 변화)

  • 본 연구에서는 빛을 확산시키기 위하여 LED(light emitting diode) 봉지층내에 마이크로 스피어를 형성하였다. 마이크로 스피어는 극성이 다른 이 종의 봉지재(실리콘, 에폭시)를 혼합하여 제조하였으며, 최적 첨가비율은 0.6wt% 이내였다. 광학현미경을 이용하여 측정한 결과, 마이크로 스피어의 직경은 $4{\mu}m$ 내외였으며, 마이크로 스피어는 서로 들러붙거나 침전하지 않았다. LED의 효율은 봉지재의 첨가비율이 증가할수록 감소하였으며, 0.6wt% 첨가하였을 때 약 10% 이내의 효율 감소를 보였다. 지향각은 봉지재 첨가비율을 0${\sim}$0.6wt%로 변화시키면 50도에서 110도까지 증가하였다.
