Implementation for Automatic Inspection System on Ventilating Electronic Device Based on Reliability Improvement (신뢰성 향상 기반의 송풍전자장치 자동검사 시스템 구현)

  • This paper describes a system implementation for the automatic inspection on the ventilating electronic device based on the reliability improvement. To be enhancement, the inspection error is minimized by the automatic inspection system on the ventilating apparatuses against the manual inspecting system. The system consists of the control system, software structure and monitoring system to be scanning the inspection processing. The inspection system for reliability improvement is evaluated in Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility. The experimental results are improved about 2 times inspecting speed, measured error ${\pm}0.02V$, effectiveness of discriminating performance 15%, missing probability 17% and false alarm probability 12% respectively in comparing with the manual inspection based on the wind pressure sensor. The system will be also improved more by making database and product bar codes for the total quality control system to the effective reliability enhancement in the future.

  • Tele-operation and remote monitoring techniques are essential and important technologies for the inspection and maintenance of the radioactive waste. A mobile robot has been developed for the application of remote monitoring and inspection of nuclear facilities, where human access is limited because of the high-level radioactive environments, The mobile robot was designed with reconfigurable crawler type of wheels attached on the front and rear side in order to pass through the ditch, The extendable mast, mounted on the mobile robot, car be extended up to 8 m vertically. The robust controller for radiation is designed in focus on electric components to prevent abnormal operation in a highly radioactivated area during reactor operation, This robot system will enhance the reliability of nuclear power facilities, and cope with the unexpected radiation accident.

  • KESCO performed periodical inspection every 1${\sim}$3 years to check the status of maintenance and performance of electric installations for general use (less than 600V in voltage and 75kW in capacity in residential homes) but recently a resident have been avoiding periodical check due to increase of sex crime and empty house, which more and more difficult to secure electrical safety of installation. In order to solve non-inspection problems and improve efficiency of inspection, this paper introduce the model of remote monitoring system that check electrical facilites for general use and we are developing remote monitoring device for reliability test.

  • The design of underwater inspection robot system is presented. This robot system is designed for wall inspection in the nuclear plant facility. This paper describes the major components of the robot and its structures. This robot system is consisted of three parts : mechanical electrical and sensing pail. The main problem of designing mechanical part is to select the mechanism of driving. In this system the propeller driving mechanism is selected which can be move the robot continuously. For reducing the size of robot, we designed the CPU and motor controller board. The sensor system is consisted of two parts. One is environment monitoring part and the other is robot localization system.

  • Conventional methods for assessing remaining life of critical high temperature components in fossil power plants rely on nondestructive inspection practices and accompanying life analysis based on fracture mechanics By using these conventional methods. It has been difficult to perform uninterrupted in-service inspection for life prediction. Thus, efforts have been made for developing on-line remaining life monitoring systems employing information on the shape of structures, operating variables and material properties. In thus study, a software for on-line life monitoring system which performs real-time life evaluation of a high temperature system headers was developed. The software is capable of evaluating creep and fatigue life usage from the real-time stress data calculated by using temperatures/stress transfer Green functions derived in advance for the specific headers. The major benefits of the developed software life in determining future operating schedule, inspection interval, and replacement plan by monitoring real-time life usage based on prior operating history.

  • ln this paper, it was reported the developed results of the monitoring unit for 72.5kY GIS which it is one part of the monitoring system for the substation that Korea Railway Company is promoting. In order to monitor the operational status of GIS, four parameters were chosen: the number of times of the circuit breaker switching, tightness of the gas-sealed units (circuit breaker / disconnecting switch / earthing switch), the number of times of the lightning arrestor operating and the leakage current of the lighting arrester. We constructed the monitoring system that can be judged the operating condition of the GIS from the signal of the suitable sensor for the purpose. Therefore, it is possible to on line monitoring for the condition of the GlS without efforts of the Periodic inspection.

  • Computer programs for a structure design help the optimum design that considers each condition. however, the findings can not explain accurately a behavior of the real-living structure because each condition of a structure is simplified and generalized. The smart structure is introduced to overcome these problems, and we can understand a behavior of the real-living structure by means of Health Monitoring System. In this study, we compare a behavior by means of the existing structure design with a behavior of the living structure by means of an experiment. As a result, we examine adequacy of a measuring system and developing possibility in the future.

  • This paper deals with developing a remote & real-time Computer-Aided Logistics Support (CALS) Systems through Information Super-Highway. A prototype of CALS is designed and implemented considering the environment of Information Super Highway. The concept of CSCW based virtual enterprise is discussed in con-nection with the four different activities. development of remote & virtual equipment controller remote-monitoring & inspection real time tracking of logistics information and web-based bidding and delivery system. A real implemented system is demonstrated under the Infor-mation Super-Highway with the corresponding software and hardware configuration.

  • This study includes noise automatic inspection system for washing machine auto-transmission one of modern home necessary. We effort to find and certificate sound noisesource by sound power and sound intensity, and apply to frequency analysis in vibration related sound noise. Still more we have been studying to data acquisition and programming for MS VisualBasic version 5.0. System component is below. 1) Pentium PC for data acquisition. 2) DSO for noise acquisition. 3) S/W for comparison and decision. 4) I/F Board for data communication. Wave form data through the DSO are converting to ASCII code data. The ASCII code through binary converting S/W are to be decision fitness or the badness comparison S/W. Finally, we will making noise monitoring system and automatic inspection system.
