컴퓨터 비전 기반 외단열 공사의 접착제 도포품질 감리 자동화 모델 (Computer Vision-based Automated Adhesive Quality Inspection Model of Exterior Insulation and Finishing System)

  • 본 연구에서는 외단열 공사의 단열재 접착제 도포 품질을 자동으로 감리할 수 있는 모델을 제안하였다. 사례 적용 결과, 영역 분할 모델은 mAP 92.3%의 정확도를 나타냈고, 제안 모델의 접착제 면적 비율 산출 정확도는 98.8%, 접착제 덩어리 중심 간 거리 산출 정확도는 96.7%로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 외단열 공사의 감리를 위한 현장투입 인력을 최소화하면서 외단열 공사의 가장 빈번한 하자인 단열재 탈락 하자를 예방할 수 있으며 나아가 외단열 시스템의 활성화에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 향후에는 다양한 환경에서 외단열 공법의 시공 영상을 수집하여 영상 분할 모델의 성능을 높이고, 영상 내에 다수의 단열재가 포함된 경우에도 자동 감리할 수 있는 모델을 개발하고자 한다.

  • Inspection and shape measurement of three-dimensional objects are widely needed in industries for quality monitoring and control. A number of visual or optical technologies have been successfully applied to measure three-dimensional surfaces. However, those conventional visual or optical methods have inherent shortcomings such as occlusion and variant surface reflection. X-ray vision system can be a good solution to these conventional problems, since we can extract the volume information including both the surface geometry and the inner structure of any objects. In the x-ray system, the surface condition of an object, whether it is lambertian or specular, does not affect the inherent characteristics of its x-ray images. In this paper, we propose a three-dimensional x-ray imaging method to reconstruct a three dimensional structure of an object out of two dimensional x-ray image sets. To achieve this by the proposed method, two or more x-ray images projected from different views are needed. Once these images are acquired, the simultaneous algebraic reconstruction technique(SART) is usually utilized. Since the existing SART algorithms have several shortcomings such as low performance in convergence and different convergence within the reconstruction volume of interest, an advanced SART algorithm named as USART(uniform SART) is proposed to avoid such shortcomings and improve the reconstruction performance. Because, each voxel within the volume is equally weighted to update instantaneous value of its internal density, it can achieve uniform convergence property of the reconstructed volume. The algorithm is simulated on various shapes of objects such as a pyramid, a hemisphere and a BGA model. Based on simulation results the performance of the proposed method is compared with that of the conventional SART method.

  • This paper introduce the model of remote monitoring system that combine information technology in electrical safety checks that has been done by professional staff. And for general use, electrical safety Value-Added Service using remote check data were presented. In the near future, If demand and interests of Value-Added Service will be increased, this will be a electrical safety Value-Added Service as an important role in the blind spot of country electricity disaster.

  • 본 연구는 지진계측시스템이 설치되지 않은 중소형 교량의 지진손상 수준을 평가하기 위하여 대상 중소형 교량 인근에 위치한 지진관측소의 지진관측 데이터를 이용하여 대상 교량위치에서의 지반응답스펙트럼을 추정하기 위한 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 일반적으로 중소형 교량의 내진설계 및 성능평가는 동적해석법 중 응답스펙트럼해석법이 가장 널리 활용되고 있으므로 대상 중소형 교량에 대한 평가 지진력으로 지반응답스펙트럼을 적용할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제시하였으며, 제안된 알고리즘을 이용한 프로그램 알고리즘도 제안하고 제안된 알고리즘을 통하여 실제 지진계측데이터를 이용하여 특정 위치에서의 지반응답스펙트럼 추정 예를 나타내었다.

  • This paper develops the deterioration detecting sensor in oil to monitor and diagnose oil-filled transformer more effectively. The on-line inspection of the oil-filled transformers used the temperature, the changes of the capacitance, the $tan{\delta}$ in oil. This sensor was designed based on the concentric cylindrical type so that it could be placed inside of the oil-filled transformer. And comparing to the existing system, it was proven to be appropriate. Establishment of the proposed sensor helps to build the confidence in monitoring of the oil-filled transformers.

  • As the operating time in nuclear power plants (NPPs) increases, the integrity of nuclear components may be continually degraded due to aging effects of systems, structures and components. Recently, a number of NPPs are being operated beyond their design life to produce more electricity without shutting down. The critical issue in extending a lifetime is to maintain the level of safety during the extended operation period while satisfying the international regulatory standards. Therefore, it is beneficial to build a monitoring system to measure an aging status. In this paper, the Aging Monitor (AM) based on lots of aging database obtained from the operating plants and research results on the aging effects was developed to monitor, manage and evaluate the aging phenomena systematically and effectively in NPPs. The AM for the CANDU is divided into 6 modules: (1) Aging Alarm/Coloring Monitor, (2) Aging Database, (3) Aging Document, (4) Real-time Integrity Monitor, (5) Surveillance and Inspection Management System, and (6) Continued Operation and Periodic Safety Review (PSR) Safety Evaluation. The proposed system is expected to provide the integrity assessment for the major mechanical components of an NPP under concurrent working environments.

Structural health monitoring of high-speed railway tracks using diffuse ultrasonic wave-based condition contrast: theory and validation

  • Despite proven effectiveness and accuracy in laboratories, the existing damage assessment based on guided ultrasonic waves (GUWs) or acoustic emission (AE) confronts challenges when extended to real-world structural health monitoring (SHM) for railway tracks. Central to the concerns are the extremely complex signal appearance due to highly dispersive and multimodal wave features, restriction on transducer installations, and severe contaminations of ambient noise. It remains a critical yet unsolved problem along with recent attempts to implement SHM in bourgeoning high-speed railway (HSR). By leveraging authors' continued endeavours, an SHM framework, based on actively generated diffuse ultrasonic waves (DUWs) and a benchmark-free condition contrast algorithm, has been developed and deployed via an all-in-one SHM system. Miniaturized lead zirconate titanate (PZT) wafers are utilized to generate and acquire DUWs in long-range railway tracks. Fatigue cracks in the tracks show unique contact behaviours under different conditions of external loads and further disturb DUW propagation. By contrast DUW propagation traits, fatigue cracks in railway tracks can be characterised quantitatively and the holistic health status of the tracks can be evaluated in a real-time manner. Compared with GUW- or AE-based methods, the DUW-driven inspection philosophy exhibits immunity to ambient noise and measurement uncertainty, less dependence on baseline signals, use of significantly reduced number of transducers, and high robustness in atrocious engineering conditions. Conformance tests are performed on HSR tracks, in which the evolution of fatigue damage is monitored continuously and quantitatively, demonstrating effectiveness, adaptability, reliability and robustness of DUW-driven SHM towards HSR applications.

승강기 와이어로프 진단을 위한 누설자속기법 기반 국부손상 진단 (Magnetic Flux Leakage Method based Local Fault Detection for Inspection of Wire Rope)

  • 본 연구에서는 와이어로프의 국부손상 검색을 위해 누설자속기법을 적용하였다. 와이어로프 구조물에 적용하기 위해 리프트오프의 발생을 최소화한 4채널 누설자속 센서헤드를 제작하였고, 이를 사용하여 와이어로프의 국부손상 검색실험을 수행하였다. 국부손상 검색실험을 위해 와이어로프를 준비하였고, 다양한 원주방향을 가지는 부분 단선 손상들을 발생시켰다. 제작된 자속누설 센서헤드를 이용하여 와이어로프 시편의 자속신호를 스캔하였고, 노이즈의 영향을 최소화하고 자속신호의 해상도를 향상시키고자 자속 신호를 미분하여 순간변화량을 손상 검색에 활용하였다. 객관적인 손상 판단을 위해 각 채널에서 계측된 자속신호를 GEV분포를 이용해 설정된 임계값과 비교하였다. 최종적으로 임계값을 초과한 부분의 길이방향 및 원주 방향 위치를 실제 손상과 비교함으로써 본 기법의 국부손상 검색 가능성을 살펴보았다.

온도 모니터링을 위한 광섬유 센서와 온도센서 배열 케이블의 비교 연구 (A Study on the Comparison between an Optical Fiber and a Thermal Sensor Cable for Temperature Monitoring)

  • In this study, two different technologies which can measure temperature simultaneously at many points are introduced. One is to use a thermal sensor cable that is comprised of addressable thermal sensors connected in parallel within a single cable. The other is to use an optic fiber with Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) system. The difference between two technologies can be summarized as follows. A thermal sensor cable has a concept of 'point sensing' that can measure temperature at accurate position of a thermal sensor. So the accuracy and resolution of temperature measurement are up to the ability of the thermal sensor. Whereas optic fiber sensor has a concept of 'distributed sensing' because temperature is measured by ratio of Stokes and anti-Stokes component intensities of Raman backscatter that is generated when laser pulse travels along an optic fiber. It's resolution is determined by measuring distance, measuring time and spatial resolution. The purpose of this study is that application targets of two temperature measurement techniques are checked in technical and economical phases by examining the strength and weakness of them. Considering the functions and characteristics of two techniques, the thermal sensor cable will be suitable to apply to the assessment of groundwater flow, geothermal distribution and grouting efficiency within 300m distance. It is expected that the optic fiber sensor can be widely utilized at various fields (for example: pipe line inspection, tunnel fire detection, power line monitoring etc.) which need an information of temperature distribution over relatively long distance.

철근콘크리트 거더의 관리기준치 설정을 위한 도로교설계기준 처짐 제한치의 안전계수 추정에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Experimental Study for inferring the Safety-Factor of the Limit of Span-Deflection in Standard Specifications for Highway Bridges for Setting the Standard of the Measurement Criteria in RC Girder)

  • 교량 계측시스템의 계측항목 중 거더 중앙부 처짐은 교량 상부구조의 대표적인 거동 특성이며, 중요한 상태평가 항목이다. 교량 계측시스템에서 교량 경간 중앙부 처짐에 대한 관리기준치를 설정하는 여러 가지 방법 중 도로교 설계기준의 처짐 제한치를 적용하는 경우도 있다. 그러나 도로교설계기준의 처짐 제한규정은 안전성 측면보다는 사용성 측면에서 검토되어 실제 교량에서 발생할 수 있는 위험상황에 대하여 어느 정도 안전을 보장하는지 판단하기 어렵다. 본 연구는 현재 교량 설계시 경간 중앙부 처짐의 사용성 검토 기준이고, 일부 교량 상시계측시스템의 경간 중앙부 관리기준치로 적용되고 있는 도로교설계기준의 처짐 제한치가 포함하고 있는 파괴(항복)에 대한 실질적인 안전율을 추정해 보고자 실내구조실험을 통하여 일반 철근콘크리트 거더의 안전율을 추정하였다.
