A Volume Reconstruction Algorithm and a Coordinate Calibration of an X-ray Three Dimensional Imaging System

  • Inspection and shape measurement of three-dimensional objects are widely needed in industries for quality monitoring and control. In this paper, we propose a three dimensional volume reconstruction method, which is an iterative method and as uniform and simulated algebraic reconstruction technique (USART). In this method, two or more x-ray images projected from different views are needed, and also the geometry of the imaging system need to be a priori identified well. That is to say, the relative locations between the x-ray source, imaging plane and the object should be determined exactly by calibration. To achieve this, we propose a series of coordinate calibration methods of the x-ray imaging system using grid pattern images.   • 컴퓨터에서 실행되는 다양한 응용들은 네트워크를 통해 패킷 형태로 정보를 전달하며 대부분의 패킷들은 TCP/IP 또는 UDP/IP 프로토콜을 따른다. 기업 및 기관의 네트워크 관리 담당자는 네트워크 트래픽 측정 및 감시, 네트워크 보안 등을 위해서 네트워크를 통해 전달되는 패킷들을 지속적으로 관리할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 실제 전달되는 데이터를 면밀히 조사하는 DPI(Deep Packet Inspection)에서 페이로드의 특정 패턴을 검색하는 패킷 페이로드 분석 알고리즘들의 성능 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 페이로드를 조사하는 가장 기본적인 과정은 특정 패턴을 페이로드에서 신속하게 검색하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 페이로드에 특정 패턴이 존재하는 경우, 그 패턴을 검출할 수 있는 여러 알고리즘들을 소개하고, 세 가지 관점에서 수학적으로 성능을 분석하고, 응용프로그램의 목적에 적합한 적용 방안을 제시한다.

  • Recently, With explosive national land developments construction fields ate increasing, and slope failures are disastrous when they occur in mountainous area adjoining highways. but public institutions and supervisors, to manage slope need GIS for managing it more quickly and correctly. For manage slope, it is nesessary to use new IT, especially wireless internet. The current domestic population using cell phones exceeded 30 million and the domestic wireless Internet environment has matured, but implementation of mobile technology for government services isnot matured enough. In this paper the author proposed a new system of mobile PPT monitoring for managing slope inspection for Ubiquitous Environment. This new system manages data in real time and reduces human power when applied to current working environments. This research was supported by a grant(NEMA-06-NH-05) from the Natural Hazard Mitigation Research Group, National Emergency Management Agency.

주조공정 설비에 대한 실시간 모니터링을 통한 불량예측에 대한 연구 (A Study on Defect Prediction through Real-time Monitoring of Die-Casting Process Equipment)

  • In the case of a die-casting process, defects that are difficult to confirm by visual inspection, such as shrinkage bubbles, may occur due to an error in maintaining a vacuum state. Since these casting defects are discovered during post-processing operations such as heat treatment or finishing work, they cannot be taken in advance at the casting time, which can cause a large number of defects. In this study, we propose an approach that can predict the occurrence of casting defects by defect type using machine learning technology based on casting parameter data collected from equipment in the die casting process in real time. Die-casting parameter data can basically be collected through the casting equipment controller. In order to perform classification analysis for predicting defects by defect type, labeling of casting parameters must be performed. In this study, first, the defective data set is separated by performing the primary clustering based on the total defect rate obtained during the post-processing. Second, the secondary cluster analysis is performed using the defect rate by type for the separated defect data set, and the labeling task is performed by defect type using the cluster analysis result. Finally, a classification learning model is created by collecting the entire labeled data set, and a real-time monitoring system for defect prediction using LabView and Python was implemented. When a defect is predicted, notification is performed so that the operator can cope with it, such as displaying on the monitoring screen and alarm notification.

선재 공정에서 C-Hook 트래킹을 위한 RFID 시스템 적용에 대한 연구 (A study on application of RFID systems for tracking of C-Hook in the wire rods process)

  • Wire rods are carried by C-Hooks and are tracked by bringing the inspection sensors into contact with steel bars on the C-Hooks. However, the conventional system using mechanical equipment is not reliable due to aging, wearing and bending of steel bars. To overcome these problems, a non-contact type identification system is required. This paper introduces the radio frequency identification(RFID) technology which is one of the most popular non-contact identification methods, and evaluates its performance in the real environment of POSCO. Specifically, we use tags which are designed for operating on high temperature and allowing easy attaching and detaching on the C-Hook. A new monitoring program is developed for reacting upon the conventional system and showing the results of reading of reading tags.

OBD-II 시스템을 활용한 자동차 고장진단 프로그램 개발 (Development of the Vehicle Diagnosis Program Using OBD-II)

  • This paper develops an OBD Diagnostic Program (Program) using Visual Studio (C#), which was used to diagnosis malfunction information from OBD-II system vehicles. We accomplished this using the Program, Diagnostic tests, Board (STN1110), FTDI Basic Cable, Mini USB Cable, OBD Data Cable, and both hybrid and regular vehicles. The Program tests real-time data output, DTC output, sensor value output, engine RPM, waveform data, OBD type check, PID inspection, and whole monitoring. We found vehicles used in this research had 19 PIDs, which was within OBD-II regulations. We also gathered data on control and diagnostic code regulated by OBD-II system, such as, sensor output value, engine RPM, DTC output, each PID analytic value, OBD type, fuel mode, and whole monitoring result value. Using the data collected through the Program appropriately can lead to more effective diagnostic practices and contribute to education.

  • This paper represents a relaxation matching algorithm based on global structure constraint satisfaction. Relaxation matching algorithm is a conventional approach to the matching problem. However, we confronted some problems such as null-matching and multi-matching problems by just using the relaxation matching technique. In order to solve the problems, in this paper, the matching problem is regarded as constraint satisfaction problem, and a relaxation matching algorithm is proposed based on global structure constraint satisfaction. The proposed algorithm is applied a landslide picture to show the effectiveness. When the algorithm is processed at landslide inspecting and monitoring system, motion parameters such as displacement area and its direction are computed. Once movement is recognized, displacements are estimated graphically with statistical amount in the image plane. Simulation has been done to prove the proposed algorithm by using time-sequence image of landslide inspection and monitoring system.

  • 주케이블과 행어로프로 구성된 케이블 시스템은 현수교에서 가장 중요한 부재로서 외부의 하중을 장력을 통해 전달하여 구조물의 안전성을 확보하는 비선형 요소의 부재이다. 장기간 공용된 교량의 케이블 시스템은 유지관리 활동에 따른 보수 및 보강의 영향을 받아 장력의 증가 혹은 변형이 발생하나 정확한 거동파악이 쉽지 않다. 국내 건설된 사장교에서의 케이블은 상시 모니터링 시스템이 개발되어 관리되고 있으나, 현수교의 주케이블에 대해서는 여전히 관리방법 개발이 필요하다. 이를 위해서 본 논문은 약 35년 공용되어온 남해대교에 대해서, 사용년수 증가에 따른 영향과 과거에 수행되었던 보수 및 보강공사가 케이블 시스템에 어떠한 영향을 주었는지를 파악하기 위해 그 동안 조사되었던 케이블의 손상, 행어로프의 장력 측정 결과 및 주 케이블의 형상측량 결과를 통하여 장기적인 거동을 분석하고 주케이블의 장력 변화를 분석하였다.

Advances in Damage Visualization Algorithm of Ultrasonic Propagation Imaging System

  • This paper presents recent advances in damage visualization algorithms of laser generated ultrasonic propagation imaging(UPI) system. An effective damage evaluation method is required to extract correct information from raw data to properly characterize anomalies present in structure. A temporal-reference free imaging system provides easy and rapid defect inspection capability with less computational complexity. In this paper a number of methods such as ultrasonic wave propagation imaging(UWPI), anomalous wave propagation imaging(AWPI), ultrasonic spectral imaging(USI), wavelet ultrasonic propagation imaging(WUPI), variable time window amplitude mapping(VTWAM), time point adjustment(TPA), time of flight and amplitude mapping(ToF&Amp) and ultrasonic wavenumber imaging(UWI) are discussed with instances of successful implementation on various structures.

  • 최근 중국으로부터 품질이 낮은 농산물들이 싼 가격으로 수입되고 있어 국내 농가들이 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 가운데 중국산 농산물의 발암물질 검출 소식 때문에 전체적인 농산물의 소비마저 위축되어 국내 농업이 큰 위기를 맞고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 국산 농산물의 안전인증 체계를 구축하여 중국산과 구별될만한 정보를 소비자들에게 제공해야 하며, 품질이 낮은 농산물의 수입규제를 위하여 확실한 검사 기준이 마련되어야만 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 농산물의 안전성 검사와 생산이력 관리 및 추적을 위한 국제적인 표준인GAP(Good Agricultural Practices : 우수농산물관리제도)를 도입하여 이력관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현 하였다. 또한, 소비자에게 다양한 정보를 제공하고 생산자의 농장관리를 도울 수 있도록 모니터링시스템과 지도 및 관리 시스템을 도입하여 AIGT(Agricultural Information Gathering and Tracking) 시스템을 구축하였다.
