Since early 1950's fracture mechanics has brought significant impact on structural integrity assessment in a wide range of industries such as power, transportation, civil and petrochemical industries, especially in nuclear power plant industries. For the last two decades, significant efforts have been devoted in developing defect assessment procedures, from which various fitness-for-purpose or fitness-for-service codes have been developed. From another aspect, recent advances in IT (Information Technologies) bring rapid changes in various engineering fields. IT enables people to share information through network and thus provides concurrent working environment without limitations of working places. For this reason, a network system based on internet or intranet bas been appeared in various fields of business. Evaluating the integrity of structures is one of the most critical issues in nuclear industry. In order to evaluate the integrity of structures, a complicated and collaborative procedure is required including regular in-service inspection, fracture mechanics analysis, etc. And thus, experts in different fields have to cooperate to resolve the integrity problem. In this paper, an internet-based cooperative system for integrity evaluation system which adapts IT into a structural integrity evaluation procedure for reactor pressure vessel is introduced. The proposed system uses Virtual Reality (VR) technique, Virtual Network Computing (VNC) and agent programs. This system is able to support 3-dimensional virtual reality environment and to provide experts to cooperate by accessing related data through internet.
The purpose of this study was to identify and name clusters of school health program, and to describe some of the characteristics of administratie supports. The literature, materials and public documents were analysed by the chronological events from 1945 to 1989. The result of this study is as follows : 1. A brief summary of the history of school health program was included as an introduction to the analysis of the current programs of school health. Five current school health-program clusters were identified from findings of a study of programs : 1) physical assessment, laboratory examination and health services for the students, 2) health instruction 3) healthful living condition (environmental health), 4) health clinic management, 5) administrative supports. 2. The earliest school- based efforts focused on communicable disease pevention by the ministry of health and social affairs. Annual medical inspection (health assessment) for school children for eyes, ears, nose, and throat were mandated nation-wide in 1951 by physical assessment Act. 3. In 1979, the health instruction of schools to improve the health status of students was improved by health department in the Ministry of Education 4. Experiences in healthful environment were basic components of the school health program. However, without careful planning and supervision these experiences were not contributed to the goal of school health. The formal program of school health environment were initiated in 1979 5. In 1980, the guidelines of school health clinic management were prepared by Ministry of Education such as guidance of essential degrees and facilities in school health clinic. 6. Two patterns of administration of school health programs existed in Korea. In one the school health department operated its own health program and in the other the physical education department operated the health program within the school system. The school health department was established in Ministry of Education from 1979 to 1982. Improved school health programs will be a key element in the comprehensive national child health policy which I will ask the Ministry of Education to develop for the Department.
The withdrawal time of erythromycin in cultured olive flounder was investigated to ensure the food safety of the fish treated with erythromycin. The oral administration of erythromycin was carried out using the experimental diet containing erythromycin (200 mg/kg) daily dose of 40 mg/kg body weight. The 45 day experimental period was broken into 7 days of habituation, 8 days of medication and 30 days of additional feeding without antibiotics. The erythromycin concentration in the flounder muscle had been increased gradually with medication. After 5 days of medication, the concentration increased to its maximum level of 6.05 mg/kg. After discontinuing the antibiotic, the erythromycin concentration decreased drastically and day 9 was below 0.1 mg/kg. The erythromycin concentration had slowly declined from the 6th to the 20th day after medication and disappeared completely after 25 days. From these results, the time needed to reduce the erythromycin level to the 0.2 mg/kg limit adopted by the ED and Japan was suspected to be 4-6 days. Therefore, a reasonable withdrawal time following ED and Japanese regulatory guidelines for erythromycin in the cultured flounder could be estimated to be 10 days.
The study as explained above has been progressed as follows: Through the theoretical required for projecting the corporate's exhibition at exposition, the justifiability of this study was recognized. To approach the pavilion of exhibition the importance of marketing communication at the corporate and its forming process were suggested, and the public information of the corporate as a medium of its marketing communication was under-stood. - With regard to the exhibiting event as its method, general constituents and contents of it were closely looked into, and on the exposition, as a kind of corporate's event and a place for the reciprocally exchangeable communication between the corporate and the public, a general study was done. - The importance of identification of the corporate's image for the corporate to participate in an exposition and its analytic method were refined in the stages of 'basic image' and 'serve image', and the general process in which the corporate is processing the image of its own pusiness since its participation in exposition was suggested in terms a model, dividing it into the stages of inspection & analysis and design.
Owing to time and cost constraints, new methods that would make it possible to evaluate the safety of the water supply pipeline in a less time- and cost-consuming manner are urgently needed. In response to this exigency, the present study developed a new statistical model to assess the safety of the water supply pipeline using the quantification theory type II. In this research, the safety of the water supply pipeline was defined as 'a possibility of the pipeline failure'. Quantification analysis was conducted on the qualitative data, such as pipe material, coating, and buried condition. The results of analyses demonstrate that the hit ratio of the quantification function amounted to 77.8% of hit ratio, which was a fair value. In addition, all variables that were included in the quantification function were logically valid and demonstrated statistically significant. According to the results derived from the application of the safety evaluation model, the coefficient of determination ($R^2$) between K-region's water supply pipeline safety and the safety inspection amounted to 0.80. Therefore, these findings provide meaningful insight for the measured values in real applications of the model. The results of the present study can also be meaningfully used in further research on safety evaluation of pipelines, establishing of renewal prioritization, as well as asset management planning of the water supply infrastructure.
3-D image modeling is in high demand for automated visual inspection and non-destructive testing. It also can be useful in biomedical research, medical therapy, surgery planning, and simulation of critical surgery (i.e. cranio-facial). Image processing and image analysis are used to enhance and classify medical volumetric data. Analyzing medical volumetric data is very difficult In this paper, we propose a new image modeling method based on tetrahedrization to improve the visualization of three-dimensional medical volumetric data. In this method, the trivariate piecewise linear interpolation is applied through the constructed tetrahedral domain. Also, visualization methods including iso-surface, color contouring, and slicing are discussed. This method can be useful to the correct and speedy analysis of medical volumetric data, because it doesn't have the ambiguity problem of Marching Cubes algorithm and achieves the data reduction. We expect to compensate the degradation of an accuracy by using an adaptive sub-division of tetrahedrization based on least squares fitting.

This study examines the reliability evaluation concept and procedure of bulletproof materials (BRP: Bulletproof Reliability Program). ASRP, RAM analysis tasks were utilized for the study. Based on this analysis, the concept, method, performance system, and procedure of BRP were examined. The BRP task execution procedure consists of the following four steps. First, the business (evaluation) planning stage establishes the evaluation plan every year. Second, there is a testing stage that performs the general inspection, functional test, and operational test according to the established plan. Thirdly, there is an evaluation/analysis phase to synthesize/analyze the results and to judge the appropriate grade considering the performance of bulletproof materials. Finally, the follow-up step of each group according to the result. The following criteria are suggested for BRP implementation: BRP testing capability, development of BRP evaluation method, and recognition of the importance of BRP business.

Space connection form that is expose by sequence of investigation and analysis(II) estimates on constituent affecting to visitor's circulation, and these do not speak for all space connection forms at the museum, but may systematize typology about connection form of unit spaces to utilize by indicator pointer of space planning if continue study to various spatial sphere more than hereafter. Unit exhibition area, divide connection form of space by grid and tree and laying stress on this quantitative data by spectator follow-up survey comparison and Estimate that space connection form provides partial basis of judgement for supposition that can promote direction and circulation path about visitor's movement if summarize result of investigation and analysis (III).

In conducting studies related to the national base networks, it is very important to construct a simulation network. This research provides an algorithm to construct the simulation network from the digital transportation map which is constructed based on the National Geographic Information System(NGIS). The algorithm consists of three functions(extraction of networks from transportation digital map, transform of the derived network into one suitable to transportation simulation model, and inspection of errors in the network). The direct derivation of a simulation network from GIS enables to enhance the reliability of an analysis related to a transportation facility investment as well as to reduce cost and time. In this research, Emme/2 which is generally accepted transportation planning fields is adapted for the target system. However, this algorithm will be extended to other simulation models such as Satong-Paldal which is the only transportation simulation model developed in Korea, and Tranplan in the near future.
