스크래치를 활용한 데이터 시각화 활동이 예비 코딩 강사의 창의성 향상에 미치는 효과 (Effect of data visualization using scratch on improvement of creativity of preliminary coding instructors)

  • 본 연구는 스크래치를 활용한 데이터 시각화 활동 프로그램을 개발하여 예비 코딩 강사를 대상으로 적용한 후 그 효과를 검증하였다. 활동 프로그램은 컴퓨터교육 전공 현직 초등교사 20명을 대상으로 실시한 사전 요구 분석 결과를 바탕으로, ADDIE 모형의 절차에 따라 개발하였다. 개발한 프로그램은 '${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ 창조경제혁신센터'에서 주관하고 '${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$대학교'에서 진행한 '청년 코딩 사업'에 주 2회 3시간씩 4주 동안 총 21차시의 집합 강의 및 실습 시간에 적용하였다. 프로그램의 적용 결과 창의성에 미치는 효과에 대한 검증을 위하여 Torrance의 TTCT(Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking) 검사지 도형 A, B형을 투입하여 사전 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 검증 결과, 본 연구에서 개발한 교육 프로그램이 예비 코딩 강사의 창의성 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

CIPP 모형을 활용한 대학 융복합 교육과정의 효과성 분석 (Analysis of the Effectiveness of the University Convergence Curriculum using the CIPP model)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 CIPP 모형을 활용하여 대학 융복합 교육과정의 효과성을 분석하는 것이다. K대학의 융복합 교육에 참여한 교수와 학생을 대상으로 조사한 758개의 데이터로 집단 특성에 따른 차이 분석과 성과인식과 교과만족도에 미치는 영향 요인을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 먼저, 수업활동(CA)이 가장 높았고(M=3.85), 교과이수설계(CD)가 가장 낮았으며(M=3.35), 집단의 특성에 따라 교과목표와 교과내용, 수업활동에 유의미한 차이가 있다. 둘째, 융복합 교육 과정의 성과인식과 교과만족도에 미치는 영향 요인으로는 요구반영과 교과이수설계, 학습자활동, 성과인식, 교과만족도로 나타났다. 결론적으로 기획단계에서부터 교수와 학생의 요구를 반영하여 설계하고, 참신한 내용과 적극적인 교수학습활동으로 만족도와 성과인식을 높여야 함을 시사한다. 본 연구는 융복합 교육과정의 질적 개선을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 대학의 지식조직이다. 지식경영을 통해 지식자원을 가장 효율적이고 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 조직임에도 불구하고 이를 적절히 전략화하지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 학생, 교수, 직원 그리고 대학관계인을 중심으로 한 지식그룹을 지식커뮤니티로 통합하여 지식이전 및 공유 나아가서 지식창출이 활성화될 수 있는 대학환경이 필요하다. 이를 위해 지식사용자의 개인별 정보맞춤서비스와 다양한 자료를 효과적으로 접근하고 관리할 수 있는 지식포털기술을 이용하여 대학의 “지식” 자원을 극대화할 수 있는 시스템을 구축할 필요성이 있다. 이러한 시스템의 구축은 새로운 지식공유 및 유통환경, 지식창출문화 그리고 대학커뮤니티의 활성화에 기여할 수 있으며 대학의 이미지제고와 경쟁우위의 대학발전을 이룩할 수 있을 것이다.

상지 좌우 운동부하 편차방식이 근력 불균형 개선에 미치는 영향 (Effect on Improvement of Muscle Strength Imbalance according to Load Deviation Pattern of Left and Right Arms in Upper Limbs)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the validation of effect on improvement of muscle strength unbalance according to exercise load deviation during rowing exercise. We performed evaluation of muscular activity and joint torque before the test. We recruited twenty subjects who one side's muscle strength is bigger in more 20% than other side. Subjects divided two groups. One is dominant left side and the other was dominant right side. Subjects performed rowing exercise in electric load deviation rowing equipment (Robo.gym, Humonic Co., Ltd., Daegu, Korea). Exercise performed four sets a day including 25 times a set, and three days a week. Measurements consist of evaluation of muscular activity and joint torque. Exercise load deviation adapted that different value of muscle strength in both arms multiplied 1RM% and added 1RM 50%. The results in adapted load deviation showed that the differences of maximal peak torque in 22.75% were getting increase significantly during exercise in 5.72%. This interpreted that rowing exercise with loading deviation types could provide muscle strength and muscular endurance exercise in same time for balance. Our study found out that loading deviation could provide muscle strength and muscular endurance exercise for improving muscle unbalance.

Chemical compositions and biological activities of marine invertebrates from the East Sea of South Korea

  • Background: Marine invertebrates are well known as pivotal bioresources with bioactive substances such as anti-inflammatory sterols, antitumor terpenes, and antimicrobial peptides. However, there are few scientific reports on chemical compositions and bioactivities of marine invertebrates from the East Sea of South Korea. Methods: In this study, chemical compositions and biological activities were evaluated on both 70% EtOH and hot water extracts of 5 species of marine invertebrates (Crossaster papposus japonicus, Actinostola carlgreni, Stomphia coccinea, Actinostola sp., and Heliometra glacialis) collected from the East Sea of South Korea. The antioxidant activities were measured by ABTS radical scavenging assay. The cytotoxicity and anti-inflammatory activity were evaluated using MTT and Griess reagents. Moreover, the antibacterial effect was evaluated using paper disc assay and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) assay. Results: In the results of antioxidant activities, 70% EtOH extract of A. carlgreni showed the highest activity ($IC_{50}\;0.19{\pm}0.03mg/ml$) compared to other extracts. Moreover, 70% EtOH extract of A. carlgreni could significantly suppress the nitric oxide (NO) production in lipopolysaccharide-induced RAW 264.7. All extracts treated under $400{\mu}g/ml$ have no cytotoxic effects on RAW 264.7 macrophages. In the antibacterial test, both 70% EtOH extracts of C. papposus japonicus and H. glacialis showed a significant antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus. The MIC values were evaluated at 256 and $512{\mu}g/ml$, respectively. Conclusions: These results suggested the bioactive potentials of marine invertebrates from the East Sea of South Korea in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications.

Effect of dietary selenium from selenium-enriched kale sprout, selenomethionine, and sodium selenite on performance and selenium concentrations in the tissues of growing quails

  • Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of dietary selenium (Se) from Se-enriched kale sprout (SeKS), selenomethionine (SeMet), and sodium selenite (SS) on performance, carcass characteristics and Se concentrations in the tissues, and to study the relationship between Se concentrations in muscle and feather in growing quails. Methods: The 320 quails (7 d of age) were divided into four treatments, according to a completely randomized design. The treatments were T1: control diet; T2, T3, and T4: control diets plus 0.2 mg Se/kg from SS, SeMet, and SeKS, respectively. The performance, carcass characteristics, and Se concentrations in the tissues of quails were determined. Results: The results indicated no effect (p>0.05) of Se supplementation on performance, carcass characteristics and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity in breast muscle of quails. Supplemental Se from SS, SeMet, and SeKS increased greater (p<0.05) Se concentrations in breast muscle, liver, kidney, heart, and feather, compared to those of quails fed the control diet. Quails fed Se from SeMet had greater (p<0.05) Se concentrations in the tissues than quails fed Se from SeKS and SS. In addition, Se concentrations in breast muscle and feather of quails at 21 and 42-d-old were highly correlated (R2 0.714 to 0.756) (p<0.05). Conclusion: Performance, carcass characteristics and GSH-Px activity in breast muscle of quails were not affected (p>0.05) by dietary Se supplementation. The Se from SeMet was more effective in increasing Se concentrations in the tissues of quails than Se from SeKS and SS. Feather Se concentrations of 21 and 42-d-old quails can be used for assessment of Se bioavailability of Se sources.

Evaluation, Characterization and Molecular Analysis of Cellulolytic Bacteria from Soil in Peshawar, Pakistan

  • Cellulases are a group of biocatalyst enzymes that are capable of degrading cellulosic biomass present in the natural environment and produced by a large number of microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi, etc. In the current study, we isolated, screened and characterized cellulase-producing bacteria from soil. Three cellulose-degrading species were isolated based on clear zone using Congo red stain on carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) agar plates. These bacterial isolates, named as HB2, HS5 and HS9, were subsequently characterized by morphological and biochemical tests as well as 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Based on 16S rRNA analysis, the bacterial isolates were identified as Bacillus cerus, Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus stratosphericus. Moreover, for maximum cellulase production, different growth parameters were optimized. Maximum optical density for growth was also noted at pH 7.0 for 48 h for all three isolates. Optical density was high for all three isolates using meat extract as a nitrogen source for 48 h. The pH profile of all three strains was quite similar but the maximum enzyme activity was observed at pH 7.0. Maximum cellulase production by all three bacterial isolates was noted when using lactose as a carbon rather than nitrogen and peptone. Further studies are needed for identification of new isolates in this region having maximum cellulolytic activity. Our findings indicate that this enzyme has various potential industrial applications.

보건소 정보시스템의 성과분석 (Performance Evaluation of Information System for Health Center)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the health information system on the productivity and behavioral aspects of health workers as well as quality of services to the visitors using the Vaccination room at the Kwon Sun Ku health center located in Suwon city as a study subject. Three survery were conducted to measure the changes in productivity and adoptation process(knowledge, attitude, activity, and satisfaction) of health workers over time during the period of 20 months. In addition, the effects of the information system on the quality of services to the visitors were also masured 7 months after the 3rd survey by comparing the quality of services between the study health center and the similar health center as a control group. The following results were obtained. First, productivity of health workers has improved over time as they became familiar with the system. Second, knowlege and activity did not significantly changed, but attitude score unexpectly decreased in the second survey. This may be due to an effect of intensive training prior to the first survery. Third, quality of services for the study center was better than other health center. While the health information system had positive effects on the productivity as well as the adoptation process, there are several limitations to establish a causal effect relationship between the two variables. For example, the system has kept modified since its development to meet the changing needs of the workers, and this may affect the productivity more than the adoptation process. Furthermore, since the study subject was only one health oenter, it lacks representativeness to generalize the study findings. Therefore, more health centers should be included in the study to solve such problems in the future.

해동방법에 따른 냉동매실의 품질특성 변화 (Ouality Characteristics of Frozen Maesil (Prunus mume Sieb. et Zucc.) according to Thawing Method)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the changes in quality characteristics of frozen maesil according to thawing methods. The quality of maesil thawed in microwave oven was superior to those thaw in refrigerating temperature(5 $^{\circ}$) and in room temperature(25 $^{\circ}$). Drip loss of maesil thawed in microwave oven was 3.2${\pm}$0.2%. The total content of free sugars of maesil was 426.6 mg%, and 3% of them was decreased during thawing in microwave oven. The total content of organic acids was 5,297.2 mg%, and 2.5% of them was decreased during thawing in microwave oven. The total content of free amino acids was 281.4 mg%, and 2.1% of them was decreased during thawing in microwave oven. The principle ingredients of frozen maesil was stand for the lost contents of free sugar and a content loss of free organic acid and free amino acid were the fewest by thawing. Antioxidant effect for soybean oil and linoleic acid of maesil extract were expressd POV and TBA values. Antioxidative activity of fresh maesil extract was highest followed by maesil thawed in microwave oven, thawed in refreezing temperature (5$^{\circ}$)and room temperature (25$^{\circ}$)

지식기반서비스 산업 기업연구소 인정제도 도입을 위한 업종선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selection of Service Business for Introduction of R&D Center Accreditation System for Knowledge Based Service Firm)

  • 제조업 중심으로 성장해온 우리나라의 산업은 개도국의 추격, 선진국의 견제 등으로 인한 기술경쟁의 심화 때문에 고용창출과 성장잠재력의 둔화가 발생하고 있는 상황이다. 주요 선진국은 이미 고부가 지식기반서비스업 중심의 산업구조 변화를 통해 산업 경쟁력을 확보하여 경제 성장을 지속하고 있으며, 우리 정부도 지식기반서비스 산업 선진화를 위한 관련 산업 육성, R&D 활성화 등 다양한 정책을 제시하고 있다. 정부는 현재 민간 부문의 R&D 활성화를 위한 방안으로서 지식기반서비스 산업에 대한 기업연구소 인정제도 도입을 추진하고 있지만, 연구소 인정을 위한 업종의 범위와 요건이 아직까지 제조업을 중심으로 설정되어 있어 지원 범위 및 요건에 대한 수정이 필요한 상황이다. 기존 기업연구소 인정제도는 지원 대상의 선정에 있어 기업의 '연구개발활동' 여부를 기준으로 제도를 운영해 왔으나, 서비스 분야는 연구개발활동과 영업활동과의 구분이 모호하여 연구개발활동 여부를 기준으로 할 경우 지원 대상의 범위가 지나치게 확대될 가능성이 있다. 따라서 주요 서비스 업종을 선정하고 선정된 업종을 중심으로 제도를 운영하는 것이 현실적이며, 이를 위해서는 주요 업종 선정을 위한 기준 및 논리의 확보가 필요하다. 주요 업종의 선정에 있어서 우리나라의 산업구조와 서비스업의 현황을 고려하여야 한다. 제조업 의존도가 높은 국내 산업 구조와 서비스업의 취약한 경쟁력을 감안했을 때 제조업과 서비스업의 동반 성장 및 서비스업의 고부가가치화를 중요 기준으로 고려할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 지식기반서비스 분야 기업연구소 인정제도 도입을 위한 업종의 범위 및 요건 설정 기준에 관한 연구를 수행한다. 범위의 설정을 위해 개별 서비스 업종에 대하여 생산유발계수 및 부가가치유발계수를 도출하여 경제적 파급효과를 분석하고, 업종별로 연구개발활동 및 자원투입역량을 분석함으로써 서비스산업을 유형화 하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 지식기반서비스 산업 기업연구소 인정을 위한 대상 업종 선정방안을 제시하였으며, 기업연구소 인정제도 도입을 위한 인적 물적 요건에 관한 개선 방안을 함께 제시하였다.
